26/10/2025: Always the best Italian food, prices went up quite a lot recently. Still worth the hype though. Will come back for calamari starter and salmon.

16/10/2025: The calamari starter Was bit cold No any salad very plain taste No lemon beside Was dry like Arabs sandal Pizza just warm not hot cheese got stiff serving in the table Should be at the table bobbling hot Chips potatoes very oily Salad very good Steak not bad bit too hard when you ask for medium well not the same texture outside and inside Music nice not nice place need more listening to customers opinions ! Never offer any water?? Service was just ok waiter didn’t know about wine by glasses much Side salad lovely but to much !! Lots potential but little things can put this down Good atmosphere Tho Shite Shite Shite On even paying bill no even question was everything ok? Whoever owns restaurant should be ashamed Girls service was pleasant but no good probably vaping when we wanted to pay bill no one was there, dot. Think we won’t back there again can’t eat cold pizza mozarella should not be hard you need to be passion about food there’s no passion there .. sad ..

14/08/2025: Bardons has the nicest food in Kilcullen 10 times nicer than the hideout! Great service even nicer food I’ve been to bandons plenty of times have tried most things on the menu and never been disappointed! The beef is my favourite but there’s plenty of options for everybody ! 10/10 would recommend

13/07/2025: The food…..was the nicest food I’ve had in a long time unreal experience fast service lovely staff I had the Mexican chicken burger omg unreal big portions aswell the steak sandwich could feed two people and the chips where chips can’t complain lovely atmosphere we only went for food we didn’t stay there but the pub was lovely the price is fair for what you getting

27/07/2025: A bald man working there is the worst treatment anyone could possibly have. We asked the owner if we could bring in outside food, and she said yes. Then, when the man saw us with the food, he told us we couldn't bring in outside food and that "what the hell were we doing eating outside food in his pub?" We put the food away without arguing after telling him his wife had told us she'd left us, and he didn't care. We then left the establishment and returned to use the bathroom, and when I was peeing, he opened the door and started yelling at me that this wasn't a public restaurant until he kicked me out. As a 16-year-old boy, this really bothered me and I felt humiliated. He treated us that way because we were Spanish; it was basically racist. After kicking us out of the pub, he even wanted us to leave the street and, screaming, he chased us out. The worst experience in Ireland, never go there!

04/07/2025: My wife Donna and I walked in and immediately felt like we were home. Joan was a very gracious hostess. Joan gave us the history of the establishment and the town. We came back the next day because it was a great place. Ireland in itself is a great place. All the people we met during out holiday made us feel like we were home.

14/08/2025: You can always rely on a good pint there and can have a laugh and a sing along if you want.

21/05/2025: Classic Irish pub, friendly staff, comfortable seating inside and large outdoor area!

16/09/2025: Meh, it was there, it was open lasagna was okay. Service was prompt. It was cash only when I visited.

17/08/2025: The tables are right on top of each other - you might as well be eating with the next table. It was so hot there and no air con. And a year later the card machine not working....they only take cash. Food ok would not be in a hurry back.

30/09/2025: Nice little pub, nice carvery and beer and wine . And just along the footpath is the botanical gardens.

31/10/2025: We had a great 3 days here in October, hotel is a 15 minute walk from Eyre Square, easy access to other points of Galway. Family rooms were a great size and the breakfast was really good too

30/10/2025: Good hotel, very convenient location for touring around Galway. Lady at breakfast each was fantastic. Good for a short stay.

08/11/2025: We’ve been waiting for over an hour and still haven’t received our food. The service is extremely slow, and no one informed us there would be such a delay. I understand it can get busy, but waiting this long without any explanation is unacceptable. Really disappointing — I wouldn’t come back or recommend it.

08/10/2025: Ventured in on a rainy morning few weeks back. Roamed to the back as horse racing on tv. 1st time in as visiting from Reno. Single female ventured back to big table of 3 generations of all men. They were so funny, laughing, etc. Thank you for allowing me to sit off to the side, sip a cocktail and enjoy your laughter.

24/09/2025: I got a takeaway aromatic duck & yuk sung, both were delicious. The service was very prompt but server was not very friendly. Plenty of parking outside. Can't comment on restaurant atmosphere as only picked up takeaway.

29/08/2025: We ate here recently had a nice meal. We had the duck dishes, crispy shredded chicken which was unusual but tasty. Staff friendly
