15/03/2025: A trip to Furey's was always a rare treat that was worth going the 'old toad' for.
We hadn't been to Furey's in three years and were dismayed by how much it has declined. The steak used to be famous. Mine smelled and was inedible.
What has gone wrong? Won't be back. Dreadful.

23/02/2025: We had a gorgeous dinner on our eldest daughter's 17th birthday. We booked the table in advance and I'm glad we did as the place was quite busy, being on a Friday evening. The food was absolutely gorgeous, with deserts to die for! Lovely, friendly staff. Absolutely recommend this place!!

09/03/2025: We visited in March 2025. While the staff were friendly, the food was not up to par. There was something off about the dumplings; they had a rubbery texture and didn't taste right. Unfortunately, I'm experiencing severe stomach pains today after eating them.

25/02/2025: Went here 20th December for brunch and from the time we sat down we were rushed and reminded that they would need the table back soon. Sourdough bread with the prawns was burnt to charcoal. We ordered coffees and were told we'd have to take them away as there were people queuing to get a table. We were a total of 40 mins having brunch and they thought they'd never get us out. obviously the place is too small and they are unable to o cater for the number of people looking to dine there but to make you feel uncomfortable and rushed is not right.

15/03/2025: I had the “famous” sandwich, it was good however the slices of bread are extremely thick and a bit too much for me. The soup of the day was delicious. My friend got the sandwich gluten free and he enjoyed it.
