09/08/2025: Popped into Cox's Restaurant and bar for something to eat and got Roast of the day chicken mash potato with vegetables and gravy. Also a nice cold beer. Service was very good and pleasant. Food was plentiful and delicious filled the spot of my ravious appetite. The nice cold beer was like honey to a bear refreshing and tantalising. Definitely would recommend this place to locals and visitors as my friend and I would be visitors. Compliments to the chef and the staff who served us. Thanks for a wonderful meal and refreshing beer.

08/08/2025: Fantastic meal. The marinated chicken was delicious. Stayed afterwards to listen to a bit of live music. The owners were very nice and sorted a taxi for us to head back to our B&B afterwards.
02/07/2025: Great hotel, location is right next to the golf course. The family that operates the hotel are excellent, very kind and personable. Highly recommend staying here if playing Bally.

07/09/2025: The lobby on entering the hotel was fabulous. But as soon as we got to our room that’s where it ended. Bathroom was not clean, Stains around the bin on the floor, problem with the hose for the shower, kept popping off the shower head, silicone around shower base has mould on it. At €277 a night I thought we would have a mini fridge or cooler in the room but we didn’t.

30/09/2025: Extremely disappointed. It was amazing little place, we got rolls for so long from them. Last week I decided to grab a bite, price went up. Oh, well!
The roll had barely anything in it. It was 90% bread with zero taste. I think it was my last visit.
11/09/2025: If Carlsberg did sandwich bars!!! Nice and clean establishment, friendly staff, very tasty food. I'll defo be back when I'm back in the area. Outdoor seating also.

Food is below average, and very expensive.
"Boneless chicken wings" are actually battered chicken balls like from a Chinese
Burger boring, and drowning is sauce
Unlimited refills stated on their menu, but when I asked I was told no, they don't do that anymore
What made it all worse was the way the waitress looked at me when I said I was ordering on the app, pure despise and then she swapped with the other waitress so she didn't have to serve us.. not sure what that was about but made us SUPER uncomfortable.

13/08/2025: Armelle recently baked the delivered a beautiful, tasty cake for our wedding. She was so thoughtful in squeezing us in last minute after our original baker closed up shop without letting us know. In retrospect, we're glad we ended up with Armelle instead; all our guests loved the cake and the whole process was seamless. We'd definitely recommend Armelle for a wedding cake!
