18/03/2026: Recently visited this place after a friend’s suggestion. It’s perfectly located in the heart of Limerick with a lovely street view and a calm, elegant ambience. The staff were very friendly. I tried their cappuccino and lemon meringue, both were incredible and the menu is clear and reasonably priced. Even though we visited close to closing time, the staff there was kind enough to still take our order. I only wish we had more time to sit and enjoy the place. Loved the cakes so much that I took away lemon meringue and red velvet. Definitely recommend!

05/03/2026: Absolutely lovely little spot. Staff were so helpful and friendly, without being on top of you. Food was delicious and nothing was too much trouble. Big decent pot of tea which they topped up for free too. I will definitely be back.

29/11/2025: Jim's Cafe, wow, so clean and tidy with welcoming staff. The food was delicious 😋 and I really enjoyed. I wasn't expecting this and I was so surprised by this gem of a cafe. I actually told the staff that It was such a nice place and that they were so quick and efficient. I even got a coffee ☕️ to go and yea, can't wait to go back again. Well done 👏

15/05/2026: We had a lovely dinner passing through the town. Lightly battered prawns in satay sauce, and the house special in satay sauce. Portion was very good size and we also have the salt and chilli wings too they were very nice. We sat in to have the food and the ladies were very welcoming 🙏🏼

15/02/2026: The food is exquisite, very fresh and aromatic. The atmosphere is relaxed, and I must highlight the cleanliness of the restaurant itself and the restrooms, which gave me a good impression and made me feel confident.

18/06/2026: I don't understand how anyone can give such an establishment 5 stars. Apart from the free parking and its location 2 km from the castle, nothing justifies the price. Room number 10 was unsanitary, and the breakfast was disastrous. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel.

29/05/2026: I am pretty amazed to read that this Place only has 4.2 stars. I found it to be completely charming. My Irish Coffee was out of this world. The other clientele were extremely friendly. Highly recommended 🙏🏾
