15/03/2026: We made a reservation one week in advance for 10 people to celebrate a baby’s birthday. On the phone we clearly explained that everyone would be eating, ordering drinks and that we would bring a cake. When we arrived, we were given a tiny high bar table with bar stools, which is completely unsuitable for a group of 10 people. One of our friends is pregnant, and we also had two babies with us, yet this was the table we were offered. The worst part was the extremely disrespectful attitude of the staff member named Edward, who told us that we were “lucky to have found a place.” Speaking to customers like this — especially those who booked a week in advance — is unacceptable. The experience was so unpleasant that we left without ordering anything. The entire group felt embarrassed and disrespected. We strongly do not recommend this place.

15/03/2026: I made a reservation one week in advance to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and clearly informed the restaurant that we would be 8 adults and 2 toddlers. Despite this, when we arrived we were given a very uncomfortable table with chairs that didn’t even have backs. I had also mentioned that we would need baby chairs for the toddlers, but we were told there was only one available. There wasn’t even a proper seat for a baby who is not yet two years old. Expecting a toddler to sit on a backless chair was very surprising and disappointing. Since it was my daughter’s birthday celebration, we had several bags and items with us, but the table space was so limited that everything had to stay on the floor. When I explained that I had called a week in advance specifically for this occasion and had invited our guests based on their confirmation, the staff member responded in a dismissive way and said something like, “It’s Mother’s Day, you should be happy you found anything.” The reason I booked a week in advance was exactly because it was Mother’s Day. What was also disappointing was the way the situation was handled. When I asked if another table could be arranged later, the staff member immediately said “no” without trying to offer any alternative. We are not first-time visitors and have had dinner here many times before, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Unfortunately, on my daughter’s birthday — a very special day for our family — we had a negative experience in front of our guests. The staff member named Edward could improve his communication with customers, as the interaction felt unfriendly and unhelpful, which was unexpected from a place we have visited many times before.

01/01/2026: Had a beautiful New Year’s Eve dinner last night. Food (surf & turf) couldn’t have been tastier, starters & desert were of the same high quality. The service was excellent, and with a smile. The attention to detail in this rare gem of a restaurant leaves nothing to be desired. We have never had a bad meal or experience in this place. 20/08/2025: Excellent seafood restaurant in a very pleasant and refined setting. Reservations are required, but it's definitely worth it: the dishes are carefully prepared and the seafood is excellent. It's definitely worth a stop! In our opinion, it was the best restaurant on the Dingle Way, which we just completed.

23/01/2026: First time to pull in and fill up,a member of staff came out and showed me how to use the card ,and the pump. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

14/01/2026: Stopped here today for a feed. Had a vegetarian breakfast and coffee. Wife had pancakes. Excellent quality, fair price. Great service. Will be back again next time I'm passing by. Currently undergoing renovation so doesn't look great from outside but a warm welcome awaits inside.

14/02/2026: The Tower cafe in Glasnevin Cemetery is a lovely addition to this wonderful place. More than a cemetery, museum, genealogical centre and superb facility. I loved this cafe, nice food options, excellent food and a bright airy cafe. Well worth a visit.

04/12/2025: Beautiful gem of a cafe in the centre of Cork city! Stunning crockery, decor and atmosphere inside and outside the cafe in a quiet mall. But most of all, clearly the nicest hot chocolate I have ever tasted! The cakes are also very tasty and the staff is very kind and pleasant. Great place to stop by when Christmas shopping. Looking forward to call again...

28/02/2026: Had a great takeaway from Camile Thai - Lucan! Big compliments to the chef. The spice bag was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. The counter staff were also very friendly and efficient, making pickup quick and easy. Highly recommend — will definitely order again!

26/11/2025: Embarrassed for the chef who calls himself a professional and served up the main course I endured. Cold undercooked ravioli and a portion size that would leave a 3 year old hungry. And that wasn't the worst meal in our group. Overpriced under sized slop. Won't be going back.

23/11/2025: Absolutely the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. The staff were incredibly rude and the food was disgusting. I was shocked by how poorly I was treated; they even laughed at me and made rude gestures when I asked a simple question. The environment was far from welcoming. I will definitely not be returning, and honestly, everyone working there should be fired immediately for such appalling behaviour

27/10/2025: Stopped here to get a bit of lunch when in Dingle. The club sandwich was to die for! A lovely place.

29/10/2025: Family-run, medium-sized hotel with a very relaxed atmosphere. The location is perfect if you're traveling by car and want to explore the Irish west coast south of Galway. There's a restaurant, a bar with a limited menu, and a gym with a pool. Highly recommended!

26/10/2025: Had a very pleasant late cheese toastie and beer here after walk on the beach. Very smart inside. Ideal for family lunches.
