05/09/2026: Got food and drinks here for a stag weekend and got entry into their nightclub, staff were very friendly and looked after everyone well, live music was great too

02/09/2026: Plastic chairs outside, decent food but overall not so great atmosphere, fake bushes and in general for the price I would not recommend.

20/09/2026: Venice is a lovely, cosy restaurant offering a selection of authentic Italian dishes. We ordered the Penne Vegetariana and a vegetariana pizza, both of which were enjoyable. For dessert, we had the pistachio ice cream with brownie, which was a lovely way to finish the meal. The service was quick and friendly, and we particularly appreciated that the staff were happy to accommodate customisations for our vegetarian dietary requirements. A nice little touch was that they served Fanta in the original glass bottles, which added a nostalgic feel to the meal. Overall, it is a welcoming place with a nice atmosphere, whether you’re visiting with family and friends or looking for a cosy spot for a date night. I would definitely recommend giving Venice a try when you’re in Galway.

05/08/2026: I would like to make a formal complaint regarding the behaviour of a server during my recent visit. I found their attitude to be extremely pushy, rude and unprofessional throughout the experience. I felt uncomfortable with the way they spoke to and interacted with me, and their behaviour came across as inappropriate and disrespectful. I also found some of their comments and manner to be quite dirty and inappropriate, which made the situation even more uncomfortable. As a customer, I expect to be treated with basic respect and professionalism, and unfortunately, I did not feel that was the case during my visit. I would appreciate if this matter could be taken seriously and looked into, as no customer should be made to feel uncomfortable or disrespected while visiting your establishment. 02/08/2026: Newly refurbished. Great food, friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. The meals were well presented and tasty, and the overall experience was excellent. A little expensive for tapas but they are tasty.

13/09/2026: Lovely fresh food served here. The staff behind the counter also very nice and accommodating. If you ask for loads of salt and vinegar they give it, not like some other chippers who pretend to give you extra

18/07/2026: Small takeaway coffee booth on Malahide's main street. Lovely people behind the counter and good coffee make for a winning formula. If you want to have a bit of a sit-down they have some tables outside on the pavement, too.

21/03/2026: Definitely one of the best pubs in Ireland (and I been to a lot😄) always a great atmosphere, with live music regularly. Lots of cosy corners as well as an outdoor courtyard with a stage for bands during the summer. Pool tables, jukebox, dartboard, Tv. Most importantly, great pints and friendly staff and clientele.

06/08/2026: Very welcoming staff, great environment, and excellent service. Everyone was friendly and made us feel right at home. Lester took plenty of time to talk with us, share his experiences, and make the visit even more memorable. Would definitely recommend and look forward to coming back!

03/07/2026: Often came here with family or on dates. Last Friday evening I had time to kill before a bus I walked 20 minutes here to grab and drink and was refused entry at the door for being alone?!? Appalling way to treat a customer or people in general.

14/08/2026: I came here to watch the F1 race, and it was the perfect spot. There were screens everywhere, so you could easily watch the race from any seat. Also, the commentary volume was loud enough to hear clearly.

07/08/2026: Great staff, amazing place to watch sports. Cheap beers and many screens!
