14/02/2026: I don’t usually leave reviews, but I wanted to share this as I was genuinely disappointed, especially because Rudys used to be one of my go-to local restaurants. I visited Rudys for lunch last weekend. It has always been a place I trusted for good food, which made this experience a letdown. We ordered the full Irish breakfast plate and the spicy king prawn taco. The full Irish brea was slightly different than what it used to be. It was served on a regular plate instead of the iron plate and the overall quality didn’t seem as good as good before. But the prawn taco didn’t work at all. Instead of the fresh salad, sour cream and salsa-style sauce it normally comes with, it was completely full of purple cabbage coleslaw. The prawns and the purple cabbage coleslaw had no real balance in flavour and it didn’t feel like a taco. The mayonnaise was quite heavy and made the dish feel greasy Even the small details felt different. In the past, when asking for ketchup, we were given what seemed like a house-made version with a nicer flavour. This time, it was just regular ketchup. I didn’t complain on the day as I don’t plan to return, but it was disappointing to see the quality and attention drop at a local restaurant I used to really enjoy. I’m leaving this review out of disappointment rather than anger, and I hope the food improves again in the future.

06/02/2026: Very hit and miss.... food is nice but lazy week day staff let's it down , that big guy in the black jacket is a waste of space and very unprofessional.. took my order, didn't leave the order slip out and proceeded to wander round talking crap to other staff who apparently had nothing to do either, I was on a lunch break so the delay in getting 1 wrap really annoyed me . He is either related to the owner or there for free as I don't know how he gets away with it .

The in-store butcher counter is of a particularly high standard, complemented by an excellent selection of independent brands and freshly prepared, store-made foods and meals. The overall quality and range available contribute to a very positive shopping experience. The store is a popular and busy location, and during peak times the car park can become somewhat congested due to limited space. Aside from this, the store is well managed and provides a consistently high standard of service and product offering.

27/10/2025: just been to the café and I have to say it was outstanding. From the moment u go in the staff are so welcoming and friendly. We had the full breakfast and the yogurt fruit flat white and a Americano. Everything was so delicious. I highly recommend it.

01/01/2026: We were looking for a full Irish pub experience and this bar was a really good choice. Not too crowded but great atmosphere. The only downside was that there was no music in the background, other than that, very cozy and Irish-aesthetic pub!

09/03/2026: The food was absolutely stunning. We had a three course meal each, and every dish was fantastic. The service was great too, and the overall atmosphere of the place was lovely. Absolutely worth the trip.

22/12/2025: Overall overpriced for what it is. Nice atmosphere and cocktails etc. Service kind of slow. Steak orders were mixed up and one steak was cold and had to go back to the kitchen. Nice to try but wouldn’t go back.

28/02/2026: Nice hotel great staff but rooms need a serious uplift , old carpets old tvs leaking taps old shower heads , central heating .... could have had itnon longer , room was cold initially had to wear hoodie for half night, room.was very cold in the mornings hut for a short stay i didnt want to complain . Breakfast was nice all you needed in one place , be early forbthe freshest hot breakfast we arrived late and everything was over cooked had hard , again staff were fab in Breakfast hall full of chat and the cork accent singing miles ..... would I stay again ..... yes Cab to city ...12 to 14 euro Supermac's 800 m away Garage with nibbles 800 m away

24/02/2026: We held our Mothers final send off at Silver Springs. Everything was perfect, even when we had the traditional sing song at the end of the day when other people were eating in the restaurant was not a problem. The food was first class and we had table service for the drinks which was lovely. Thanks to all the staff who were really kind and nothing was a problem.
