30/08/2025: Wow what a gem. This place was hands down the nicest accommodation on our trip and we stayed in higher end places. The owners were fantastic and engaging and the manager was very helpful. It’s nestled in the back of a neighborhood in Mitchelstown (walking distance to town)The property is an expansive oasis hosting red deer and other farm animals. From the time you enter the big wrought iron gates to the time you leave you are taken care of. They will sometimes host a wine tasting in their private cellar of some of their own wines produced in Hungary (outstanding) if you get the chance. You would need to arrange in advance. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, the bed and shower were the best… If I could rate it 10 stars I would We will be back ……

14/10/2025: Have a fabulous 3 day's in the hotel,dancing to live entertainment each night afternoon had cooking demo 1 day Bingo,and card games afternoon also had live music in the lounge and dancing 🕺 😀. The hotel also has a bus to collect people from the Train Station, plus if you didn't feel like walking into town the bus €2 each way .The hotel also have a pool if you feel like swimming. I am looking at going back before Christmas ,as they put on some great packages I have been told. I can't say enough about all the staff so friendly and helpful 5* to everyone @Gleneagelehotel.

12/10/2025: I took 11 of out Friendship group here for the Active Week we stayed from the 5th October to 9th October, from the Killinarden Family Resource Centre. I have to stay it was a fabulous few days away from the time we arrived the staff were so helpful, kind, so polite. Even down to our breakfast time and dinner time was superb. The food was great and a verity to pick from. I would highly recommend staying. We will be booking again. The activities were good and the courtesy bus from the hotel to the town and train station was great service. To take in the sites of Kilarney was just like a picture. Thank you to all the staff.

14/10/2025: We stayed in the tower hotel for a weekend break The room was top quality, The hotel is in a great location on the quays to stroll around waterford city. Attractions nearby include the medieval museum the vikings tour among others. The pier 37 food was just great waiting staff was awesome and they were very welcoming and attentive throughout the service. Great hotel, will come back.

08/10/2025: Room was clean and tidy, decor needed some bits of attention but was largely fresh. Staff friendly, pricing was reasonable and breakfast was good.

05/08/2025: We stopped there for lunch between the visit of Loughcrew and Fore abbey. The place was quiet. We really like the decoration. We had carvery dishes as main, leg of lamb and turkey and ham. They were very nice, and so were the side dishes. That was very good. The deserts were not as good, still ok. The apple pie's crust was very soggy though the filling was nice. And why the plastic cup under the ice cream? Setvice was good.

31/08/2025: Used to be one if the best places in cashel. The lad that worked there for many years left and it's going downhill rapidly ever since.

28/10/2025: Musashi is our go-to spot for Japanese food! Whenever we’re in the mood for sushi or any Japanese dish, this is where we go. Chicken is Halal. The food is always fresh and delicious, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

12/07/2025: The staff is very nice and the food came quick. The fillet steak is very well cooked and served with fries. I am only giving this place 3 stars for one reason and that is the fact that the music coming from the speakers is so loud you can’t hear the person beside you unless they were to shout. This really increases the volume of the overall noise in the restaurant. I recommend this place highly, but it would be greatly appreciated if you could have the music playing quietly in the background.

25/08/2025: Played Balcarrick golf course 20/8/25 one of 5 courses in the general area in north dublin. So competition is great and Balcarrick is more than holding its own. It's a links course really as your ball will travel miles and irons would be my preferred choice of clubs.lots of water filled with beautiful reeds, nice to look at but keep clear remember golf balls can't swim.Fantastic large greens giving you a great target to go for.Overall the course was lovely to play.Owen the pro and Connor were lovely to deal with and great food in a very nice club house at a good price. If one can par the first hole your on the pigs back for the round.

20/10/2025: I bought a baguette with hot chicken this morning and the chicken was like a shoe sole, it was probably three days old and the baguette is also dry, disgusting! Considering the class of the store and the prices, I thought the food was of a high standard and fresh, big mistake, I will definitely not go back there.

16/10/2025: Cleanest premises ever .. food from the deli is outstanding. All staff are lovely to be with and it's always busy..

20/10/2025: Excellent main course. Roulade desert €7.60 disappointing and small, raspberry drizzle instead of real raspberries . Charged for Cordial ???

17/10/2025: Just had our second trip to the Barn for breakfast, the food is always amazing but what really stood out is their service and the friendly staff. Our waitress was Mary T. She made it such a lovely experience and can’t wait to go back again and looking forward to meeting her again Tara
