25/06/2025: Fletcher’s Bar is one of those places that just gets it right. It’s cosy, friendly, and full of character – a proper traditional pub that doesn’t try too hard, because it doesn’t need to. It’s dog friendly (always a win), and there’s a real laid-back vibe that makes you feel instantly welcome. The kind of spot where you can walk in on your own and end up chatting with someone at the bar like you’ve known them for years. Best of all? They serve Murphy’s – and not many places do these days. It’s poured perfectly and tastes just as it should. Just the place to take the dog after a walk, Fletcher’s ticks all the boxes. Can’t recommend it enough.

10/01/2026: White Gables is a nice cozy clean shop. Bought cheese cake and taste was absolutely fantastic ❤️.

06/11/2025: Right after we entered the establishment, our group, consisting of 1 man and 3 women, was deliberately forced to leave by the person behind the counter. Deliberately racist act. Totally inappropriate. The gentleman, despite being rude, clearly displayed racism, perhaps because we are not Irish.

29/07/2025: This was one of the nicest places we visited lately, a little, tranquil paradise, managed and run by absolutely lovely people. One normally goes there to buy a tree. We talked to and were helped by Anthony, who was very knowledgeable and gave us great advice. We stopped at the Café there for a coffee and a bite to eat and were greeted by Rambo, the duck, who, all by himself, decided to leave the lake and become a bouncer. All day, he spends at the entrance to the coffee shop and inspects every person walking through the door. We are back at home now with a strawberry tree. It is just about to be planted. I can wholeheartedly recommend this centre; a lovely outing with lovely people, beautiful plants, a coffee shop, and a bouncer duck. And we will back for more.
