The best restaurants

23/07/2025: Food was great a d lovely staff. We had a restaurant voucher given to us for our 50th anniversary but it was not accepted on their system. We checked it on return home and there shouldn't have been a problem looks like it was on the restaurants system. A little disappointing as we checked before booking.

21/07/2025: Waiter Smile, music, seafood like oyster, mussel, lobster and rain. Perfect moment on this bar in Howth town. Really sweet time.

21/10/2025: I went two times and both were perfect! I strongly recommend the chocolat muffin

19/10/2025: First stop upon arriving in Dublin. We were looking for a café with brunch options and found this one right in the city center and close to the hotel. Everything was so delicious and lovely that before returning to the airport, we returned to the same café, this time wanting to try the famous Irish Breakfast. The waitresses were excellent, and the food was very fresh.

25/10/2025: This place is a lifesaver for those upcoming rainy days! With a fantastic combination of soft play, bowling, and arcade games, there's something for all ages. It's the perfect indoor escape, and the staff are absolutely brilliant – super friendly and helpful. Plus, the whole place is spotless. Overall, it's a guaranteed great day out, no matter the weather!

21/10/2025: Alot of problems with the lanes. Not putting up as requested and the pins being blocked by the guard.Been afew times with work bringing clients and it's not great for bowling. Staff don't seem to care when there's problems.

01/10/2025: Staff in m and s cafe very rude. I asked for my little cake to be heated for 10 seconds. Was told we don't heat them. My friend asked for her scone to be heated. They don't heat them either?? While being served by one girl interrupting her lifting up all the cake platters. Not a smile or a thank u.

17/08/2025: The rudest staff I have ever come across, especially the manager/ bar man with an English accent. Shushing customers and speaking abruptly to us because he couldn't cope with the 2 groups of customers coming into the bar for food at the same time. It wasn't even busy, but he couldnt handle it. We all have bad days, but the look on the staffs' faces suggest this is a regular occurance from him. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. We ended up leaving. I feel sorry for the other staff, especially the lovely waiting staff who were trying to explain to him which group was to be seated next and looking at us with an apologetic look on their faces. Avoid at all costs.

19/10/2025: Right on the River. Right place to be if you want to be near the city centre then chill on the waterside. Food is good enough & service is fine. Just a 3 min walk to the award winning venue 'Dolan's Warehouse' to catch a gig.

30/09/2025: Great hotel on the river bank, everything is accessible on food. Beautiful room and very nice breakfast. The best were the people working at reception and at breakfast. Thank you!

04/10/2025: I had dinner here a few weeks ago with my wife and 2 sons and their partners. I will certainly never step foot in here again for food it cost me 200 euro for food that you would get ina side street cafe for quarter of the price. Tasteless and portions were all children portions . Staff very good 👍 but honesty the chef should take a look at him / her self and stop sending food at those prices out at way below standard. I have been a manager in a very vibrant hotel in dublin which provides music and food and if I thought for one minute my staff were sending food out like what I received heads would role .no excuse for it as not a very Complicated menu! Prices to hight for the quality and quantity of food .

11/09/2025: We stayed for two nights and were looked after exceptionally well by Jo and all her staff. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them and the food was great with big portions as well as being at a reasonable cost. The rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. Jo made sure we had everything we needed as we had special needs as well, which we are most grateful for. Thanks for everything.

15/08/2025: I brought my mom for very 1st time to experience Afternoon Tea in Lord Mayor’s Lounge at The Shelbourne hotel. Together with her and also my sister in law and little niece we had amazing experience, everything was delicious, the desserts looks fairytale and taste heavenly, we been completely spoiled by our waitress Karla and lovely Imelda. Thank you so much girls for everything.

03/08/2025: We had a booking for 12:00 and got there at 11:55. They sat us down and at that time there were only 2 or 3 other tables with people. As more people came in, they were all getting served before us. We noticed that the waiters were explaining to each table how it all worked as they were seating the guests. No one explained how it worked or came to our table for 20 minutes, at which point we just left. As we were leaving, other tables were getting food and tea. There was staff standing around, and our table was very visible. Waiters were constantly walking past us. I don’t think it’s acceptable to have to hail a waiter at a 5 star hotel when expected to pay 75 euro (minimum) a head. We ended up going to Bewley’s and were served within 5 minutes without even having a booking. I went to the Westbury for afternoon tea last year and the service was a lot better. Maybe we just got unlucky but I would definitely never go back to the Shelbourne, especially when paying that amount of money.

02/11/2025: The place has a great vibe especially the private karaoke rooms that are perfect for party's and gatherings especially for Asians and the spinning table is really fun to use

30/10/2025: Been there multiple times and usually book a function room. Amazing food and friendly service. The restaurant itself is nice, but can get noisy when full.
