04/04/2026: Spent a night here after the Kilkenny 5km race. Highly recommend it. The staff was very helpful and welcoming 😊 the beds were cozy and the breakfast was 10/10. Thanks to staff Mario and Gerry.

29/07/2026: We went to this café for breakfast a few days ago. It's a bit hidden away in a small side street.
Don't let the simple ambiance put you off – what they serve here is truly excellent! Fresh bread, fresh regional ingredients, superbly prepared!
All the baked goods are homemade and taste absolutely delicious. I'm not a big fan of sweets, but I couldn't resist 😅
07/07/2026: This place lived up to the name ! Had a delicious cappuccino, toasted panini, and a cinnamon roll which didn't disappoint.
Very friendly staff.

15/07/2026: My all time favourites are the fresh berries muffins, the lasagna and the chicken sandwiches (there is more than one option and they all are great). The service is quick, polite and they have great taste in music!

had to stand and wait more than 15mins to order drinks. Staffs are on the phone. Clearly don’t care about service. Quite disappointing but only place have Mo chara beer on the south side.
Not sure coming back though.

05/09/2026: Have eaten in a few locations and is usually great and on today's visit the beef noddle dish wasn't good at all, very watery sauce, little to no noodles, veg and beef was ok, but portions way too small
and overall disappointing. Table service below average and not approachable.

14/09/2026: We accidentally stumbled into this place but absolutely loved it! It’s French style food. Excellent hospitality, friendly staff. Lovely view of the St. Mary’s church.
12/09/2026: What a great find. From the moment we entered until we left our waitress was attentive and couldn’t have been better.
The food was superb. I sampled the seared tuna to start and the cod as a main. Both were delicious and beautifully presented. Would highly recommend this. One of the best meals I’ve had for a while.

15/04/2026: Matt and Joe are absolutely wonderful. I stopped on my walk across Ireland. I was in need of a place to rest and charge my phone. They let me stay for 3 hours and charge my electronics before heading into the Wicklow mountains. Such a friendly staff and locals that spent the time chatting with me. Thank you so much.
