The best restaurants

30/01/2025: I love the bistro! The food is delicious. Best pizza in Tuam, gourmet sandwiches, and one of the best Irish breakfasts I ever had. The service is unique, the people are so nice and friendly and the restaurant is so cosy and warmly furnished. Can't wait to be back again for an awesome meal.

16/01/2025: I went in for the bolognese today which I love and the service I had today was incredible the two girls that worked today were exceptional , really lovely and polite. I'm a server myself and I love when I eat out and get great service 🙌 they deserve a raise

03/11/2024: The last two times I’ve ordered from here I’ve had issues with my order. The first time my food arrived 1 hour and 45 mins after I had ordered it, and by time I got it, it was cold and the pizza was half crushed (obviously was not handled properly by driver). The second time, my order arrived on time, but this time they forgot three items that I had ordered. It’s a shame that every time I seem to get takeaway, there is an issue with my order, because the food is actually quite tasty.

02/01/2025: Great coffee in Balbriggan. Super nice young staff and high quality coffee. Great for grabbing a coffee and taking a stroll along the beach nearby. Recommended!

20/02/2025: Very special visit to Wild today. Lovely welcome & service. Excellent seafood chowder & brown bread. But best of all when I left my wallet in the car & couldn’t pay the bill, the owner/manager was charming & said not to worry & to drop in money when I could. Of course, I returned to the cafe & paid immediately, but this was a rare & charming demonstration of trust & good service. Would totally recommend if visiting Tralee.

06/02/2025: Was in Tralee for the day and decided to try here for lunch and I really enjoyed it. The staff were nice. The service was quick. Had the club sandwich which was great.

14/01/2025: Was at a 50th party here recently and we had the best night! Food was gorgeous, Andrew and his staff were so nice and attentive. The atmosphere was amazing, we had the whole place to ourselves and I couldn't fault it! The DJ was unreal, we never left the floor, and no cheesy stuff all really cool, funky music! Couldn't fault the place, 10/10!

04/01/2025: Great spot for a bite to eat or a party with friends, great music and great service. Tapas & Pizza were lovely.

15/02/2025: Great place. I would 100% recommend going here. The food tasted great and the staff were really kind and helpful. Students also get a discount here which is cool. ( 7euro deals!) you also get free all you can eat ice cream with your food.

04/02/2025: Ordered directly very helpful waitress. Fast delivery, reasonable. Duck meat was good but sauce was thin & tasteless. Red chillies were too strong green chillies might have been an option to reduce the heat.

23/08/2024: Had the fry this morning with a colleague when in town for a bridge inspection. It was one of the best fry, I have eaten in a long time. The quality of the ingredients was top drawer.

05/03/2025: **update** We wrote directly at the email send in the response. At this time we never ad any solution even if the director told us that his gonna come back to us soon, and after 2 other email without answer…. We had a room for 1 night before our flight on the next day. We need to wake up at 5am but we didn’t sleep all night long because of the loud noise of the ventilation system. We recorded that noise and told the guy at the réception, and he said that a supervisor gonna come back to us soon. After couple of days, we send an email with the video ans someone told us that they received the email and they gonna come back to us soon. 3 weeks later we didn’t received any response We paid 280$ and didn’t sleep at all…

03/03/2025: Comfy beds and a nice view of the airfield. The room was a mix of old and modern. The radiator was on full blast so the room was way too hot when I first arrived. The room didn't feel soundproofed and I could hear passing road traffic, let alone the flights.

12/10/2024: Fabulous dining experience, full house on a Saturday night provided for a lovely atmosphere helped by laid back, pleasant, friendly staff who were well trained and super at what they do. Great building with old style large shopfront windows. BYO policy at no extra charge which is pretty unique! Every dish was fresh & delicious, mussels, sea bream, haddock, beef all cooked and presented to perfection. Totally enjoyable evening finished off nicely with a reasonable bill. Definitely recommend.

16/09/2024: Fabulous restaurant in the picturesque setting of Rosscarbery village with large windows to take it in and we had the perfect table inside the window to enjoy it. We were advised on arrival of the BYO policy with local pubs happily allowing takeaway drinks to the restaurant or shop with off licence a few doors away. Complimentary delicious bread was served immediately which is becoming more of a rarity. The BYO is also complimentary even though they chill your beers and supply wine coolers and glasses at your table. We started with mussels and portobello mushrooms, our mains included haddock, crayfish & a slow cooked beef pasta dish finishing off with yummy desserts. Each dish and mouthful was cooked to perfection and so flavoursome. Roast veg were served with mains, water bowls not forgotten with mussels, food and service was perfection. Finally the dreaded part……the bill but this was almost as good as the food!!! This restaurant is extremely well priced, something we don’t see these days…….value for money offering superb quality food and pleasant service in a really nice atmosphere makes for a night out that you’ll want to and can afford to repeat several times. Highly highly recommend.
