27/01/2026: Good place and all, but very expensive. My friend Benjamin and jeffery went there and they blew a lot of money. it's different for myself, Donald, because i'm just one singular person. Hope to see prices improve.

07/03/2026: Visited this branch around 4pm today and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. My husband clearly ordered a burger as a meal. When choosing the side, we selected a half waffle / half onion rings option from the sides list. The staff member never mentioned that this option was not part of the meal, so we assumed it was included. I also told the staff that I had a reward and wanted to use it on the more expensive burger. However, when we paid, the reward was automatically applied to the cheaper burger instead. What made the situation worse was how it was handled. The manager became quite argumentative and impatient when I went back to ask about the price. Instead of explaining or helping resolve the issue, he called the staff member over and essentially had us debating about what was said during the order. We were also not shown the order before payment and were not given a receipt until I specifically went back to ask for it after noticing the price seemed wrong. Overall this felt very unprofessional and not the level of service I would expect from Eddie Rocket's.

05/03/2026: We spent two days in Dublin and both times we had to come here for dinner. I wish I'd remembered the waitress's name, because she served us both times and couldn't have been friendlier (she spoke Spanish); although I should also mention that we interacted with other members of the staff and they were all lovely. The Spice Bag is fantastic, and the prices are very reasonable.

30/09/2025: Got a takeaway wrap/chips and coffee. Food was very nice and coffee was lovely, friendly staff and the place has a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend!

22/09/2025: Best coffee shop in mallow no doubt. The baking is actual real proper fresh stuff (not the type that’s dry and been brought in by outsourcing from some company). I got a millionaire shortbread square im really craving a lot after being there. Atmosphere very nice as well. Family run. Clean tables- literally everything is spot on 👌

06/01/2026: The day was very cold, and unfortunately during a funeral the toilet was locked

26/10/2025: We have organised a baptism which was cancelled by the office staff. On first contact the arrangements were made no problems, said two children could take the sacrament together. Forms signed, information given and still no issues. Until Tuesday this week when mother rang just to confirm and was told, the older children can't take part. When asked why told would have to wait till others her age wanted to make theirs... welcoming Christianity, suffer the little children to come on to me... so hypocritical.. should be ashamed of themselves, they older child was well aware of the sacrament and what's its meaning is. A church like this should not carry the name Christian.

06/09/2025: I love being on the town with my family and they ask if we should pop in to Joanne's for a coffee and a bun. The answer is always YES!

05/02/2026: Had dinner here one Sunday. Food is magnificent, absolutely delicious. Beef rendang is delicious.

23/11/2025: Delicious food and a great atmosphere. Prices are a bit on the higher side. I had a yellow curry and was very pleased with the taste!

10/01/2026: Service here is still a bit disjointed & feels iffy at breakfast time, food was good but overcooked fried eggs on the breakfast muffins really just let them down - if you order these, you may need to specify how you want your egg if you're one of those 'egg-yoke-drip' lovers

31/12/2025: Lunch the last few times was disappointing, lacked flavour, especially the mushroom tagliatelle, didn’t appear to have been seasoned at all. The setting is lovely and service is good but not worth the price.

16/09/2025: Medium Empire State is top class. They are not shy with toppings. Pricey enough. There's only a small seated area.

30/01/2026: Ordered a chicken box meal at 19.15 pm aprox, got it 5 minutes later walhed home , which toik 7 or 8 minutes, The fries and the milk shake both good the chicken was disgusting, absolute rubbish, was cooked hours beforehand, and kept hot under lights, threw it in the trash, 14.10 euro fir a med milkshake and fries . Total rip off, i work in catering so i think i know when something is good or not, absoluy muck, avoid this place.

17/02/2026: Chicken curry and chips horrible sauce way too salty, can't get a normal menu online or in-store, 7:30, for a portion of sausages and a spice burger. Criminal, don't blame inflation or rising costs for that

15/02/2026: Food wasn’t nice ordered a lunch box the chips was soggyand drenched in vingear to the extent where the box was falling apart from the grease and vinegar chicken was alright waited 5 mins for her to actually put the order in after I had told her what I wanted took about 20 minutes to get me food wasn’t busy only 2 people in there that had ordered over the phone before me

26/02/2026: Got served a half frozen half boiling cannelloni and don’t even get an apology. Sent an email which didnt even get a response. Service is slow and other food was jut ok. Expensive

22/02/2026: Good just ok, not great for the price 75€ per person for the 5 of us. There was quite a lot of food though, but the quality wasnt the expected, some of the dishes a bit greasy. Croquetas a bit disappointing The sangria 🍹wasnt nice, very strong, only a few bits of oranges and there was no flavour it basically looked like red wine in a jug, maybe spanish beer is a better option ( Estrella Damn) About the service, most of the waiters were extremely nice but some others were quite sharp 🥲 + something I liked is that we ordered more food but they didn’t serve it cause there would have been too much I want to think
