31/08/2024: Delighted to recommend this hidden gem! Had fish and chips, delicious and prawns with garlic bread, chips and salad, very tasty. Staff were very friendly and helpful, bathrooms were spotless.

24/02/2025: Busy, Bustling Chinese restaurant. The menu has changed from street food to more traditional Chinese eating. The food is fabulous and the dumplings are excellent. The staff are also really helpful
17/02/2025: I sat at the table next to the stairs going down to the kitchen. I never saw such a dirty floor in my life, same with the walls.
I regret I haven't cancelled my order.
The dumplings were overcooked and falling apart.

27/01/2025: Breakfast is lovely but the fella making the cakes need to learn a thing or two about hygiene. Witnessed him go outside for a smoke, come back in, wiped his hands on his jeans and proceeded to handle fresh sponge cakes and decorate them.
10/01/2025: Cakes way too sweet and sugary, couldn't eat any i tried, very generic tasting. No artisan breads. Space inside very packed with too many tables, looks like '80s atmosphere. Coffee is ok.

10/02/2025: Stayed with my Daughter in Clayton Cork on 6th Feb from the time we arrived we were treated so well … everything was perfect …. The staff made the stay thanks to Kerry & Anna but a special 5 star mention to Emma you were amazing and it’s refreshing to see someone with such good customer service skills you really made us feel special …. We will def be back
08/02/2025: Rooms were average - we had a view of the indoor “courtyard”, and only half the outlets worked. Buuuuuut the staff was incredible and completely made up for any downsides. Especially Julisto from the bar🩵

03/02/2025: Cobra Tandoori in Kinsale is a good alternative to all the restaurants around serving fish and chips mainly, especially when the posher ones are closed for the season. It is cosy, service is friendly and fast. Food is very good. We had a mild chicken curry and a spicy lamb dish, both were very tasty with lots of tender and succulent meat in large portions. Very recommendable and very good value for money.
27/01/2025: Ordered a takeaway on there online system which was fine. Tandoori chicken and out main chicken dishes were low grade/quality. Meat was not good. You know when bite into it..🤮 Chips were dried out and cold. Definitely recooked. And they got out rice orders wrong too. For the price they charge the quality just instead there. I won't be ordering from there again.

23/12/2024: I came with my family to have their €53pp 3 course festive menu. We come every year and are always impressed by the quality of food and service but, unfortunately, the standard has significantly dropped. The food was mostly average and my sister’s mushroom risotto was tasteless and unappealing. No one checked how our food was and they collected the uneaten risotto at the end without any remark. Once we pointed it out, they did apologise and took some money off her meal. Hoping they can improve as this is a beautiful venue in a stunning location.

15/10/2024: Really nice brunch here, food came quickly and was super filling. I was surprised that they only had filter coffee but it was also quite tasty so no issues. Prices do let them down as I was really shocked to be charged €4 for each small cup of black coffee, that is more than you would pay for a cappuccino or latte in some places. I would still come back to try something else as the food was really good! But the price of the coffee left a sour taste in my mouth, €4 for a tiny cup of black coffee was a surprise and not nice to feel you have been ripped off.

18/01/2025: We came for late breakfast on the weekend and were very pleased. The atmosphere is very nice, the sandwiches are very very delicious and the coffee is was really delicious 🤤😋👍🏼 I will definitely come again because I want to try their other foods. 👍🏼👍🏼😋😋

17/01/2025: Beautiful relaxing atmosphere. Staff went out of their way to chat and assist us. Lots of room. No pressure to leave the table as soon as we were finished .
Food was lovely, various types and the best assortment of cakes n buns 😋.

14/02/2025: Absolutely delicious, melt in the mouth scones. Fabulous presentation with little labels and a great variety of sweet and savoury. Got these for staff as a little treat and they went down a storm. 100% recommend and will order again!

My latest order was today. I contacted the company a number of times regarding the time of delivery and received a response each time. Timely delivery and beautiful scones. The delivery included a wonderful hand written card which was a lovely personal touch.
