06/08/2026: Great place. The food is fantastic, and they're very efficient and super friendly. It's a shame we discovered it so late because we would definitely go back.

08/08/2026: Brilliant night at Hynes, a great pub ! The staff were amazing, tasty food, decent tunes and the beer garden is class. A great space for people to meet up and enjoy an evening together. Thanks guys !

17/09/2026: A small but charming restaurant with good food and friendly service on Wicklow's Main Street. A 10-minute walk from the harbor. We really enjoyed our visit.

31/08/2026: We booked a table at this restaurant for a family of ten. We were asked for a deposit which we paid. When we arrived at 5.28pm for our 5.30pm booking we were told we had arrived early. We ordered our starters and had to to wait for a long time and one of our party had to return theirs due to it being cold in the centre. We were then given after a long wait our main meal and they forgot one of our parties meal. It arrived after we asked where it was. We were then told rather abruptly that we had to leave after we finished our main course as our table was booked for another party. We weren't given the option of having dessert or coffee. The late meal was barely finished when we had to pay the bill. The restaurant didnt charge for the late meal but didnt refund €10 of our deposit because one of our party couldn't make it on the night. We were chatting on the street for at least twenty minutes and no party arrived for that table. We certainly will never use this restaurant again as we have never experienced anything like this in all our years dining out as a family.

11/09/2026: We visited early on a Thursday evening. The food was fine, but my friend and I were surrounded by really loud, raucous large groups. It was so noisy we couldn't hold a conversation or hear the waitress. We left after one course.

06/09/2026: Booked dinner for 7 for a 60th birthday celebration. Every starter, main course served was 5 stars. The staff went above and beyond. We brought in a cake and balloons for table and they were so accommodating. Start to finish, good service, good atmosphere and at a reasonable price.

23/08/2026: A lovely place to eat in lovely Malahide! Wonderful restaurant in beautiful Malahide! We went there twice in our one week stay in Dublin. 30 minutes by train from Dublin.

17/08/2026: Our party of 4 adults and 2 children called into this restaurant at 2 pm on a Saturday looking for a table, half expecting to be turned away as we could see all the tables were full ! However, the waiter with a smile said, "Let me see what I can do for you. While working on her Chrome book, looking how she could juggle her bookings around, said I can accommodate you, providing you will vacate your table by 3.30pm. A table had just become available, and we were settled comfortably into our seats. Looking around this restaurant, I was very taken by the decor and standard of finish. Our table was prepared very well and within a few minutes our orders were taken. Our drinks arrived quickly to my pleasure as sometimes you have to wait a long time when the restaurant you happen to be dining in is very busy. Anyway I could see that the restaurant was very well organised. Plenty of staff working harmlessly together delivering great service ! Our food orders were served together for our party of 6. We asked for vinegar and more ketchup, which arrived immediately. Our food was excellent, fish and chips, chicken burger with chips, steak and chips and burger and chips along with pancakes for one of the young boys. The food was hot and tasty and certainly was just what we wanted for a laid-back family lunch on a Saturday. We had coffees after our lunch. Our bill for the 6 was around €170.00 We left a tip which was well deserved by the attentive staff. We will be back .....

01/09/2026: Stopped by chance for dinner and it was by far best I've had in Ireland 🇮🇪 great portion sizes and cheap. Food is off a high standard and chefs no exactly what there doing will definitely call again

31/08/2026: Any time I'm in Kilkenny, I cannot leave until I've had a La Bottega sandwich, they're incredible, so fresh and beautiful flavours. I don't know of anything else like this in Ireland, it's a must visit if in the area!!

17/08/2026: We stumbled upon this place by chance, looking for something quick and vegetarian. What a find. Friendly, attentive service, and truly Italian sandwiches, well recommended. The Caprese sandwich with pesto deserves top marks, even if it were in Liguria! Generous and very reasonably priced. Feeling like I was in Italy, I even relied on an espresso, a rare treat for me! It was a great experience, it was delicious!!! If you're passing by, Italian or foreign, pop in for a taste of true Italy!

26/08/2026: Called here after the community games in Carlow it was busy but there was no problem getting a seat, staff were very friendly

29/06/2026: Super friendly staff. Huge thank you the bar men last night especially mason for his kindness and banter with the kids.would really recommend this hotel. Only flaw was there's no pool other than that perfect holiday. Would highly recommend.

18/06/2026: It is utterly unacceptable that the designated smoking area is positioned directly alongside the main entrance ramp. This layout forces guests, including those with infants in strollers, to navigate through clouds of second-hand smoke just to enter the property. For families traveling with babies or young children, I would strongly advise seeking alternative accommodations. Such a design flaw is entirely unacceptable by modern hospitality standards.
