11/07/2026: OMG, we have just finished our main course, everyone in our party of 7 is raving about the food. Unique food, incredible flavours, a perfect culinary experience. Get in here folks, and it’s BYOB - bonus!!

07/07/2026: Visited Bistro 53 Maynooth and the food genuinely blew us away. The sea bass was perfectly cooked with crispy skin, served on a beautiful risotto with a vibrant pesto sauce, absolutely stunning. The crispy pork belly was melt-in-your-mouth with a rich glossy sauce and creamy mash, just incredible. Both mains were easily 10/10. Desserts kept up the same standard, the tiramisu was classic and indulgent, beautifully presented with a coffee drizzle, and the sticky toffee pudding was warm, gooey, and sinfully good with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Could not fault either. The atmosphere is decent and comfortable enough. Service was a little slow to get going at the start but the staff really came into their stride as the time went on and were genuinely lovely by the end. Overall a brilliant dining experience, the food alone makes it absolutely worth a visit. Will definitely be back!

05/07/2026: We came yesterday the food was amazing! My partner and son we all had starters, mains, shared desert and each course was impeccable. The Aranchini is beautiful, I had the tagliatelle with mushroom sauce and chicken probably one of my favorite dishes here along with there steak. Mihai hope his name is spelled right. Is lovely very professional with a warm and attentive manner. All the staff are very pleasant and professional. Compliments to the chef for the fab food yesterday.

28/07/2026: The coffee was great, the salted caramel brownie was amazing and the atmosphere very cozy. The staff was friendly and it was probably the first clean toilet in Dublin I saw in two days.

11/07/2026: A very nice pub with lovely decor and clean. A unique place. It's a shame they're trying to rip us off a bit by charging €18.30 for a salad that was €11.50 as a starter because we made the mistake of saying it was our main course...😕

03/07/2026: Best sandwich in Kilkenny in my opinion, we go there anytime we get into Kilkenny . Authentic, quality ingredients , big list of choice of sandwich , they also do other yum Italian savoury treats as well as top quality coffee

02/08/2026: Completely unassuming from the outside. But inside, up the stairs, and you're sitting in a very nicely decorated restaurant with just a few tables. Small and charming. The food was delicious, and the service was very friendly, even though we hadn't made a reservation.

24/07/2026: It was Absoloutely amazing and I enjoyed the food. The Tteokbokki is something I would definitely recommend! Excellent quality and will go again.

19/07/2026: The service was good and the setting is beautiful Unfortunately my chicken wrap was very disappointing. It only a tiny amount of chicken in it and for 15 euro I dont think this is acceptable

02/08/2026: We visited again last week after a trip to Sherkin Island. The 4 of us shared the mussels as a starter and they were excellent. My 3 guests were Spanish so we all had the Haddock which was excellent, full of flavour. The portion size was modest and the skinney frier were not to my living. We all enjoyed the meal and we'll be back!

06/07/2026: All though I write this, fairly discombobulated, I feel the review of one off 5 star review is very fair and reflective of the venue. I personally was here for the Mexico England game and I don’t think there was a better spot in Dublin to watch the match with so many fans thre, really great buzz by the supporters. The service was just you couldn’t get a beer, would have stayed longer but was waiting for beer the whole time

29/06/2026: Wanted to like this hotel. Good breakfast, decent location. They told us we “upgraded”: to a room overlooking an active construction zone. First thing in the morning and then throughout to day there was jackhammering, drilling, shouting right outside our room that rattled the window. They cut off the power which killed the hot water during the shower. Far from a peaceful and relaxing stay. Manager Harry was terrible, tried the “gotcha” of asking if we had reported the problems when they occurred. He had no answer when he learned we had, not even a free drink or comped breakfast offered. Even if the construction is done, their attitude about how to deal with problems will remain.

24/06/2026: Stayed in newly opened section and rooms were both spacious and well appointed. Quiet location but a ride required to get into downtown area.

23/07/2026: What a fantastic find! A true Irish pub full of character, with a warm, authentic atmosphere that makes you feel at home from the moment you step inside. The staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and always happy to make recommendations. Whether you’re stopping by for a pint or spending the evening with friends, this is the kind of place you’ll want to return to. Highly recommended!

23/07/2026: A pleasant and entertaining setting. The food is excellent and the staff very friendly and funny. We had a lovely time enjoying a very good meal. I highly recommend it.
