18/03/2025: Not actually been in for drinks ect,but the food is delicious. I know a single man who gets a proper meal to take away . He says it is delicious, I have since seen several going out with their dinners. The staff were friendly when I collected one for him once.

10/03/2025: Same problem as always for me. We ordered fish and chips (which was nice) but when I saw what everyone one else had from their menu I should have ordered that instead. The other customers food looked lovely; I was jealous. The place is full of locals, visitors, farmers and workers from all around the area enjoying a great reasonabley priced meal. Must pop in again when passing through.

25/03/2025: Had a night out with friends in the night club last weekend. Such a great atmosphere, great security. Will definitely be back soon

23/03/2025: I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the nightclub. One area for improvement is that the music was too loud and became distorted, making it hard to talk with friends. Maybe it could be lowered a bit!

06/03/2025: I don’t think 5 stars is high enough for this coffee shop! I am a serious coffee nerd and am very picky when it comes to where I buy a coffee from and I have to say this place is probably the best coffee I’ve had in Ireland, and trust me I’ve tried hundreds of coffee shops. We came here on the first day of our trip to Wexford and we ordered an iced coffee, a cortado and a cinnamon bun, all so good we had to order seconds. We came back the next day for brunch and I got the trough eggs with bacon and he got the breakfast bap! Both massive portions and so unbelievably tasty and we each got cortados, we ordered a second cortado each because they are truly just that good! The staff are so kind and chatty and always so helpful! They are so sweet! Finally I just want to comment on the interior of the shop, it is beautiful and rustic, and this theme is seen throughout everything including dishes you’re served in and the seating areas! I live in Dublin where there are many amazing coffee shops but I know I will think about this place once I leave!

12/03/2025: Oar will forever hold a special place in my heart. I marked a milestone birthday here in the company of family and dear friends. It was a magical evening. Kieran and Roxy took such good care of us. Everyone simply relaxed and enjoyed the incredible meal complete with little treats of oysters and sorbet along the way. Thank you to the team for making this such a wonderful way to celebrate.

26/03/2025: They close at 3pm on a Saturday (so get there early) Chefs were accommodating. Staff were attentjve & engaging. Fresh & clean decor. Coffee is the best on the street imo.Theres a hatch section if youre just grabbing a takeaway coffee / cake it's convenient & quick. A few outdoor seats. Dog friendly. Cool spot. Savage pastries. Breakfast v nice. If you need parking - park at the GAA carpark for €3 for the day & the cafe is just a short walk.

22/03/2025: I love going here when we’re in Newbridge. The staff are so nice and the food is great! Had a lovely experience there today specifically.

06/04/2025: A very nice establishment with a good menu and tasty food. Extensive wine selection. We had a minor hiccup where the wine we had ordered was not what we received and we didn't notice until we were halfway through a glass- no major issue as it was tasty anyway and our fault for not noticing when it was brought to the table. Service was prompt and the food good. Very much enjoyed the beef cheek starter. Portion size was generous. Busy place so be sure to book if you want to try it.

05/04/2025: We were excited to try The Winding Stair given its reputation and charming setting. Unfortunately, the steak was a major letdown—it was overcooked, tough, and lacked any real flavor. For a dish that’s supposed to be a standout, it missed the mark entirely. The rest of the meal was just okay, nothing particularly memorable or worth recommending. The dessert and wine were decent, but not enough to make up for the underwhelming main course.

29/03/2025: Stumbled upon this gem of a pub few weeks ago. Was treated to an amazing pint of Guinness. Just to be sure that wasn't a one off thing, I decided to go back and check again. Ladies and gents, I can honestly say that this is the notes, creamiest pint of Guinness you will have in Dublin. I have tried all the obvious points of interest in Dublin, and M. O'Brien's consistently delivers, in comparison to all other places. On top of that, place has a great atmosphere and even better, staff is friendly, and absolute delight to talk to. I think I've found my forever pub. Don't sleep on this one. No food, but that's not really an issue, since you have a few restaurants literally across the road.

17/03/2025: My wife an I walked into the bar after a nice dinner and had an excellent evening. The guys running the place we chill and on point with their drinks (which is hard to find in ireland)

02/04/2025: Amazing little secret in Bandon. Food is incredible made to order. Staff very professional and friendly. Loved the layout inside, tables not up on top of each other. Worth a visit for anyone visiting 😊

20/04/2025: We had planned to try this local gem for a while and finally had the opportunity tonight - we were not disappointed. The atmosphere, the passionate advocacy for food pairings and wine, and of course the main man himself. In this age of impersonal service and dishonest restaurant practices, Daniels is a tower of integrity. Bravo! Highly recommended!

19/04/2025: The food was fine, I cannot give more stars because of the attitude of the chef and poor condition and cold restaurant. Since we decided to order only a main and a side each and not all the menu (as strongly advised by the chef) the man was quite bothered and we were rushed and got some rude answers we didn’t like. The restaurant was not busy at all so we were not taking up space for other customers. Maybe the man thought there was no reason to bother being more friendly as we are foreigners (he was friendly with other irish customers) but definitely lost customers as we live in the area and could have repeated (just for the food) if we were treated better.

14/10/2024: A fan of breakfasts I heartily recommend having one here. Their main courses get a delicious in my book too. Great service with a smile and when more familiar with you, banter to enjoy. 18/09/2024: We stopped to have a coffee and ended up having breakfast because of how good the place looks and how nice the girls who run it are. Delicious French omelet with ham and cheese.
