The best restaurants

29/07/2026: An exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The food and service were both exceptional – attentive, friendly and professional throughout. We had the three course set menu for €55, which was excellent value considering the quality of the food. The organic chicken was the standout dish – beautifully cooked and full of flavour. The desserts were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The setting is another highlight, with beautiful views overlooking the boats in Malahide Marina, creating a lovely atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

06/08/2026: Great location if you get a sea view on the 1st floor. The food was good but a bit pricey. Service was ok but our table was cleared of things without us being asked, like it was a cheap motel. Like we just had to leave the place quickly.

17/07/2026: Food was just okay. We had to send the Caesar salad back as it was very mushy, but the onion rings were lovely. The garden terrace has a really nice atmosphere and I’d definitely recommend sitting outside. It was a lovely way to spend the evening. A special mention to Mario, who provided excellent, friendly service

10/07/2026: Had a steak. Was cooked to order. Food in general was good. Out server however constantly looked annoyed and angry. We asked if they had a pale ale and he said yes and brought Smithwicks red ale.

22/07/2026: Food was delicious. The flavors were good mix. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend eating here. Hidden gem of the area for great food.

12/07/2026: The food is good, however, the price is completely outrageous for such small portions. There are vegan options, which is great. The waiter is very pleasant and attentive. Despite this, I wouldn't go back because of the price.

19/05/2026: A very enjoyable meal and the service was absolutely brilliant. You can tell a very skilled team are working the kitchen with the freshest of ingredients. I chose mild which was perfect but I think I'll try the hot next time around. Really looking forward to my next meal at Montys!

06/06/2026: We stayed here recently and it was unreal place to stay. Would highly recommend to anyone to stay even if it is not for the golf. The service and food in the restaurant and bar was sensational.

23/05/2026: Dinner and breakfast were lovely, excellent service from the Italian gentleman. Gym and saunas were available, pool and jacuzzi weren't but that's alright. Overall a great experience.

12/06/2026: There may be better accommodations in Dingle, but Murphy's has everything we could have wanted. Secure entry to the B&B portion, excellent rooms (ours, #12, had an amazing view of the harbor) private parking a wonderful included breakfast, and a location where walking distance, along with pulling out onto the road and hitting Slea Head Drive was effortless. (They have great Guinness as well) Murphy's is one of the gems of Dingle, and we've already booked another stay for December!

28/09/2025: Very pleasant atmosphere, great service, and good food. For such an iconic place, it's not overly expensive compared to other places in Dublin.

28/09/2025: Stopped in for a pint and to hang a FD patch. Staff were great and made me take a selfie with it.

16/06/2026: Great local hotel in Killorglan. Very friendly. Clean rooms. Great food. Room was very hot as we were blessed with good weather but besides that it was perfect.

03/06/2026: Very nice, really enjoyed most of the food. One item was not to my linking but tbf had dill in in n I don’t like that. Scallops, fish n chips were to die for.

21/07/2026: Louisburgh 74 Café Bistro is a lovely place with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented, and the coffee was excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. Whether you’re stopping for breakfast, lunch, or a coffee break, it’s definitely worth a visit. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

30/12/2025: Was ignored by staff when we went into their restaurant. Seated ourselves after being ignored after waiting for a few minutes for a table. Think everyone was local and got the impression we weren’t welcome by staff. Took a few minutes for someone to acknowledge us and bring a menu despite 3 staff members being there with a half empty restaurant. Once we finished food (19 euro for a burger with a soggy bun that was straight out of the packet and cold lettuce, raw onion and slice of tomato) we went to the bar to pay the bill. There was a bartender (dark curly hair with facial hair- he was the primary staff member that seemed to completely ignore us when we were just trying to give you some business) who was folding cutlery into napkins who we waited for him to acknowledge us but he didn’t so after an awkward minute of standing there we asked him could we pay the bill he said “I’ll be with you in a second”. He went to give the cutlery to a table and then walked off- his colleague came through by chance and took payment. Very strange atmosphere due to staff. Ate and left promptly.
