06/09/2025: I've been ordering for weeks though just eat, but today my order WAS NOT DELIVERED. Order 142472739 was paid in advance. No one answer my calls as well. Disappointed.

21/02/2026: Stopped into Goosers and it’s an absolute gem of a little bar/restaurant. Ambience: We grabbed a seat in the bar area beside the fire — perfect spot for settling in with a few Guinness. On a wet winter’s night, you honestly couldn’t design a better setting. It has that proper cosy Irish pub feel: warm lighting, great buzz, and a relaxed energy that makes you want to stay longer than you planned. Service: Top notch from start to finish. Food: Outstanding. The ribeye steak was genuinely epic — cooked perfectly and so tender it cut like butter. Full of flavour and done exactly right. The chips were beautifully crispy, and the peppercorn sauce tied it all together — rich, punchy and seriously tasty. A proper 10/10 dish. Even the Guinness were spot on — creamy and fresh. It’s the kind of place that reminds you how good a simple pub experience can be when it’s done properly. Can’t wait until I’m passing through again — it’s absolutely a must-stop spot.

22/02/2026: We went here recently to see a production. I have to say it is a great facility. Unfortunately there is no on-site parking but there is a car park close by. Overall very good and I would return again.

22/02/2026: Had a beautiful meal in Lava Rock in Cahir Co. Tipperary. Staff were very friendly and lovely decor. It had been on my bucket list as I’d heard great reports especially about their desserts. Definitely will be back.

The beautiful grounds, the atmosphere, and especially The Wishing Tree - the ancient apple tree nestled in the gardens completely captured our hearts.♥️✨️ Maria and Rachel were absolute angels throughout the entire journey.😍 From the smallest details to the biggest moments, they handled everything with such care, warmth, and genuine excitement for us. Nothing ever felt like “just another wedding” — they made us feel truly special and supported every single step of the way. We honestly couldn’t have done it without them.♥️♥️ And Paul… wow. The food was beyond incredible. So many of our guests told us it was the best wedding meal they’ve ever had! Every bite was delicious, beautifully presented, and clearly made with so much love and care.😋 One of the most special parts for us? This venue is perfect if you have little “furevers” in your life 🐾 Being able to include our dog in our big day meant everything to us, and the team welcomed them so warmly. It made the celebration feel even more personal and complete.♥️🐶 We are endlessly grateful to this amazing team for giving us a day filled with love, joy, and the most beautiful memories. 23/11/2025: We had our Wedding at Newbay House in September 2025 and it really was the best day of our lives. This review cannot express how good everything was. From the first day we went to view the venue we knew it was special. The house and gardens are beautiful and so elegant but it is the staff that set this place apart from other venues. Rachel and Maria and the whole team are so good. Absolutely nothing was a bother. We had no stress at all in the lead up to the wedding or on the day itself. They are so kind and so helpful. All our questions were answered and we had no doubts or worries whatsoever. Paul did an amazing job with the food. He was so helpful at the menu tasting and everyone was raving about the food. On the day everything ran like clockwork. Dinner bell rang at the agreed time and everything was just right. The whole day exceeded our expectations in so many ways. So many of our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to! Thank you to everyone in Newbay House. Maria & Steven 6th September 2025

13/03/2026: Been to The French Table many times over the years. The welcome has always been warm and the staff friendly. The food has always been excellent. It is my favourite restaurant in LimerIck. This time I had the crevettes in the most delicous seafood sauce, followed by the rabbit blanquette. Not only is The French Table rare in serving rabbit - but whatever iteration of rabbit cookery, it is always succulent & delicious. The chocolate mousse for dessert was lovely too. Relaxed vibes & you always feel taken good care of. Standards have never dropped..

15/02/2026: We just got a main and desert, the desert was lovely but the main was more like a starter portion size with the price tag of a main. My main was also cold in some bites so obviously was heated up in microwave poorly. We also didn’t get any bread to start but it was randomly brought to us after our deserts which was good as we were still hungry. Won’t be back unfortunately.

04/01/2026: Truly excellent promenade cafe/restaurant. The chef here is clearly a bit of genius with real passion for great food. This time we had the Dhall again(always amazing) and the chicken schwarma was just from heaven. Staff are friendly and helpful. They are so popular and well deserved !

The atmosphere is eclectic, yet very Irish. Artifacts of the town and pub’s history litter the walls and give you the sense of a larger narrative. Whether it’s a pint of Murphys, Beamish or a g&t, you know you’re in for a delicious gulp. The food is also high quality and excellent especially for a pub. There’s also a lovely monthly trad session, which, for a Canadian, is a beautiful experience that always feels wholesome and novel. So grab a creamy pint and nestle yourself into a corner, and enjoy the cozy atmosphere by the fire. Enjoy Cronin’s.

28/01/2026: We walked in the Wild with no reservation on a January Saturday night. Thankfully, they could seat us and we had a fabulous meal! The atmosphere was amazing, lots of people in for dinner and a lovely buzz around. The decor is so cosy. The goats cheese bonbons were so flavourful and the chicken wings, while spicy, went down a treat. For mains, the creamy hazelnut papardelle and Asian flavours beef cheek were incredible. The staff were so attentive and friendly.
