21/04/2026: Sadly disappointing. Went in for food on a Sunday afternoon. Carvery-style lunch. Overcooked meat of which you are given 3 skinny slices. No extras. The meat is then covered by overcooked veg and potatoes and gravy. For 18€ a head we were very underwhelmed. We had to ask for water. No atmosphere. Shame really as we had heard good things.

06/04/2026: Absolutely delicious food, we had the steak sandwich and the goujons and they were gorgeous, pretty good portions and the side salads were so yum. The service was lovely and the atmosphere was great, such a pretty bar

03/03/2026: On a Sunday was serving choice of taditional Sunday roasts; pork turkey & beef with baked salmon, mushroom tagliatelle & a beef stroganoff as alternatives. All served piping hot very tasty. Starter & desert were delicious too. Maybe not fine dining but good solid fare, well executed. Bar area is a rustic gem, must have a preservation order put on it.

11/03/2026: I wrote a review here three years ago, and after living in Dublin for over six years, I’m back to say that Night Market is still comfortably the most authentic Thai food you will find in Ireland—and quite possibly in all of Europe. As a Thai native, I’m very picky. Most places offer a 'one-chef-fits-all' menu, but Night Market is different. They actually bring in chefs from the six major regions of Thailand, ensuring that every dish stays true to its roots. You aren't getting a generic version of Thai food here; you’re getting the real deal. The Khao Soi is a perfect example—it tastes exactly like what you’d find in a top-tier spot in Chiang Mai, and the portion is massive. Their Duck Red Curry is another masterpiece, rich and complex, honestly better than many high-end restaurants back in Thailand. My kids are obsessed with the Moo Ping (Grilled Pork Skewers) and sticky rice, which is always a sign of quality. And a pro-tip from a local: do not skip dessert. Their Brownie is incredibly rich and dense; it's hard to find anything like it elsewhere. The staff are excellent, the menu is well-structured, and the pricing is very reasonable for the quality you're getting. Don't even try to compare this to your standard local takeaway; this is proper Thai culinary art. If you want the most authentic Thai experience in D6, this is the only place that matters. Still 5 stars, no questions asked!

14/04/2026: We went in for a lunch. Brilliant carvery here. Really good food, great choice & very reasonably priced. Highly recommended. Staff are lovely & really helpful & friendly. I'd highly recommend it.

26/03/2026: Was there on a Sunday for carvery,food was diabolical for the price,my partner got the beef and portion was okay not great,then myself and my sons came along and we were disgusted for what we paid,child's portion handed to us,we had to ask for stuffing and gravy,and when asked the chef,the attitude on him as if it was nuisance for him. Will never be back.

14/03/2026: Cannot fault Inside Out in any respect. Don't live too far away but it was our first time visiting and we will be back. Duck wings were a taste sensation!

07/03/2026: I'd appreciate it if someone could get back to me about the money I'm owed after being charged twice by accident four weeks ago. I rang three weeks when I discovered this, called in two weeks with evidence (voucher and charge on card) wherein I gathered i was speaking to the owner and a note was taken, rang again that weekend the following evening to query and left a voicemail last weekend. I was told it was a systems issue the 3rd time. No response from voicemail left (4th time following up) last weekend either. I like your restuarant but this is quite poor on yer side, hence why I'm leaving a review. The staff/owners have gotten on to me since were apoligetic about the wait/mix up and systems issue and it has been resolved. Thank you

05/03/2026: My wife called to place a bulk order of desserts. We usually order from here on weekends for ourselves through delivery and really enjoy the desserts, so we wanted our friends to try them as well. However, when she called to check if bulk orders were accepted, the response from the person who answered was quite rude and full of attitude. They simply said they would not take bulk orders, but it was the way it was said that was disappointing. When my wife asked further, she was told to just refer to the menu, again in a very dismissive tone. This is not the best way to approach a customer. We like the desserts here, but experiences like this make us less likely to order again if the customer service does not improve.

21/04/2026: This is a truly unique place to visit. It does not open until 8 - the gate across the front is locked so it leaves folks guessing whether it is still in operation. It is. Definitely worth a visit for a pint and some great conversation.

14/04/2026: A really great spot for a warm welcome, stories you'll hear nowhere else and not a million options at the bar -just the good stuff. Truly one of those mythical places where locals and tourists can come together to make a perfect blend.

05/04/2026: Connor, the barman at Avenue Bar and Restaurant, is absolutely exceptional. His mixology is incredible, his service is outstanding, and it is all topped off with the kind of personality every customer hopes for. Connor is the reason we became repeat customers. If his drinks were not already the star of the show, he easily would be himself. He has made several evenings truly memorable. Matteo also deserves a special mention. He is consistently welcoming, attentive and professional, and he adds so much to the warm atmosphere of the place. His service is excellent, and he helps make every visit feel smooth, relaxed and enjoyable. They are truly lucky to have him, and his contribution certainly does not go unnoticed. Andrew was an absolute pleasure to be served by. He was attentive, personable and eager to make sure everything was just right, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. What really stood out was the human touch in his service — we had such a lovely chat with him, and it was genuinely refreshing to be served by someone so warm and engaging.

18/04/2026: What ever expectations I had were massively exceeded. I have never been to Westport before but my Mam strongly recommended this place for a food experience. It was 100% a food experience that still left you feeling full and the flavour explosions just kept coming. If you are a fan of seafood and you see it on the specials, get the seafood plate you will not regret it. The staff were absolutely fantastic as well. It absolutely lives up to the rewards it has gotten over the years.

16/04/2026: A wonderful restaurant with great service and even better food! I was passing through and wanted a bite to eat. That's when I stumbled upon SAGE and was immediately impressed by the ambiance and the warm welcome. I received excellent advice, and my request to order two appetizers and enjoy one as a main course was met with a smile. A good wine, a delicious dessert, and the many thoughtful touches between courses perfectly rounded off the experience! In the end, I was very full and happy after such a delicious meal! Anyone who thinks you can only eat fish and chips in Ireland should definitely visit SAGE in Westport. This prejudice is utterly disproven here! Thank you for the wonderful time, the friendly service, and the fantastic food!

02/05/2026: Was really looking forward to coming here and was not disappointed. From the moment we walked in, service was great. Waiters were very friendly, one even told me I had over ordered which was appreciated as I was stuffed leaving the place. Very very tasty food, not super elaborate. Just simple Italian food done well. Highlight for me was the ravioli but in reality, everything was delicious. Literally was debating drinking the butter and sage sauce. Had 3 courses, 3 wines and 2 coffees between us. 150 all in with tip and I didn't mind paying it. Will definitely go back and can see how they were in the top 100 list.
