The best restaurants

31/05/2026: Could have been very nice. The bouncer was not a good person. I do not know how to describe the hate that was felt as a person of colour, but it was extreme. I have felt welcome in every other pub in this wonderful city but this was hateful. Cannot recommend it less, you will need to fire this hateful man.

18/05/2026: One of Cork's heritage pubs. An institution. Typical pub atmosphere and a great selection of beers. We were particularly impressed by the Beamish Stout! Important to know: they don't serve food, only drinks.

21/05/2026: The location would have been 5 stars if it was closer to the town center but hotel is very easy to find.

14/06/2026: Had Sunday lunch here again today, we live a good 50 minute drive from here but worth travelling for to.....no 1 the staff and all the staff might i add are super friendly and helpful, beautiful pub/restaurant with loads of character, tables not on top of one another, plenty of room, great parking and the food is absolutely fantastic......a great choice of menu, served very well and is just mouthwatering delicious tasty food, from starter to dessert.....good portions and excellent value for the quality and service you get. Can't praise this place enough, a absolute gem in Borrisokane and well worth a visit. Once you go once u will be heading back. Keep up the good work 👏

03/05/2026: I stopped at this restaurant while passing through. The atmosphere was great, and the service was very friendly and quick. The food was excellent and served very fast. They have a large menu. I would definitely recommend it.

03/05/2026: You may think it's crazy that we were eating Asian food in Ireland. This was a great find and I will recommend it. I had a local lamb shank prepared in a sauce that takes over 4 hours to cook. This was a wonderful experience everybody enjoyed their seafoods there your beef and all the different things that we ate.

14/09/2025: Nice little cozy place, the coffee was delicious.. the barista offered me which type of arabica I wanted, I really liked that. Many cafes don't give you that option. They don't ask what type you want. I recommend this place. Very clean, nice staff.

Just as their menu says, it's not a fast-food restaurant: the burgers were delicious and the service was fantastic. It was a great find near our hotel, and we're very happy with it. Absolutely recommended.

15/05/2026: An excellent stop for a bite. Whether it be lunch or dinner. This place was great! Fully accommodated me as a Celiac. And one of the few places that has gluten free fish and chips. And it was amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant to any and all who enjoy a good mix of Asian, Mediterranean and pub fare. The cooks know what they’re doing here.

29/10/2025: I had such a great experience at Umai in Dundrum! The salmon poke bowl was super fresh and delicious, but what really stood out was the service — the girl who helped me (kinata) was so kind and friendly. I asked for a special request and she handled it with such a lovely attitude. It really made my day! Highly recommend this place — amazing food and even better people 💚

24/10/2025: Finally! A sushi restaurant in Dublin that know what they’re doing! They also changed my order when I mistakenly ordered raw tuna. So helpful and friendly.

05/04/2026: Was here with a large party. Food was excellent.had the spring roll start and monkfish main. Both were some of the best seafood dishes I've ever had. Service was excellent as well

27/03/2026: La Côte Seafood Restaurant Honestly, a complete disappointment. Based on the ratings, I expected quality food, but the reality was completely different. I ordered gnocchi and what I got was undercooked, almost raw in places, and absolutely unacceptable. On top of that, the dish was overloaded with garlic to the point where it completely ruined the flavor – it was impossible to eat. I genuinely don’t understand how something like this can even leave the kitchen. For me, a total fail. Definitely not recommended.

08/06/2026: Pretty disappointed with this place. It was half empty but we waited a long time for our small order for 4 people. The sushi itself was mostly tasteless and a bit dry. They forgot my wife’s side dish and when we reminded them, after we were well finished the mains, it still didn’t arrive for another 20 minutes (a side salad!) so we got up and asked to have it to go. The juices were nice but arrived warm, room temperature. I had to add ice to make them more drinkable. Also, when ordering using the online menu with the table QR code they auto add the tip, perhaps because they suspect you won’t add it yourself. Pretty cheeky for a table under 6 people. Finally, one of the two men’s toilets was busted and wouldn’t flush (see picture). All in all, not recommended.

24/05/2026: Great service, tasty beer and lovely atmosphere and the portions are generous but the food is quite bland and uninspiring and was served luke warm, (which is a sin in itself). I won't be going back (for food) unless I forget how forgettable the food was!

23/05/2026: Great pub with delicious food and friendly service. Despite the place being full, we got a table and there was hardly any wait. The fish and chips were absolutely delicious. I'd definitely come back. Highly recommended!
