The best restaurants

22/09/2026: We had a long layover in Dublin and stayed in nearby hotel. My daughter found this restaurant and oh boy, that was a perfect choice! Delicious and fresh food, amazing service. I am highly recommend this place.

01/09/2026: A very nice restaurant with very friendly waitresses. The service was quite quick, the dishes simple but very good value for money. I really liked the homemade bread and the trout was good quality. Perhaps a shame that the sandwiches are served with crisps, but at that price it's acceptable! The vegetable soup was good. We were there during a podcast recording in Irish; it was nice to see all those people. They sell beautiful and inexpensive cards (€3). Great for supporting artists!

01/09/2026: The food was delicious. The restaurant was quite empty, but we were served very quickly and courteously. We received a small complimentary treat from the kitchen and our food arrived promptly. I can't comment on the pizza, but the pasta was very tasty. If we were in the area more often, we would definitely eat here more often.

31/07/2026: Passing through the area, we stopped at this small restaurant tucked away in an alley. Excellent, authentic pasta carbonara and cannelloni. Quite generous portions. Pleasant and attentive service. I recommend it.

25/08/2026: Fantastic stop for breakfast or brunch on the way to Knock airport. Great service, friendly people and tasty food. The Irish breakfast included black and white pudding and was so delicious. Very good coffee included 😊

08/08/2026: Always visit Westgate for food and a browse but was so disappointed when I visited there last month with my grandson who has a serious nut allergy. Unfortunately the staff couldn’t guarantee that there would be no cross contamination with the foods and also no nut free foods on the menu could be seen either. Such a pity as I brought his mum and siblings in too so we all had to leave.

12/07/2026: We had our wedding in Langtons on the 20th of June 2026. We are so happy we chose to get married here!! The staff here at Langtons especially Sean, Louise and Susie who made the whole experience so lovely and positive. They were always available to answer any questions we had in the lead up to the wedding and on the day. We got married in the Set Theatre and had our reception in the ballroom and our friends and family commented on how excellent the service was and how stunning the food was and that the location was perfect for everyone. Plenty of people said the slow cooked beef was the best beef they had ever had! We had our day 2 in Bridies and the staff were incredible. It was a hot day and they must have made 200 strawberry daiquiris for our friends throughout the day! Apologies! We are so happy we chose Langtons as our venue and cannot wait to come down again! 11/06/2026: We had a wonderful visit to the Langstons Hotel last summer. The Hotel was beautiful, it was quiet, and the rooms were very stately. The staff was very friendly and helped us with whatever we needed. The location is perfect because it is walkable and you are right down the street from everything. We would definitely stay here again!

04/07/2026: Arrived with big family group, brilliant service, fantastic service, kids had selection of pancakes. Good coffee and huge portions (rare these days)

27/06/2026: We had a fantastic lunch here today. Coffee was beautiful aswell. Free lunch plate of fruit and vegetables for our 9 month old baby was really appreciated. Great spot and definitely a place to stop in while you're in Gorey.

07/07/2026: I often visit Box'D Drive Through Coffee shop. The team members are friendly, fast, and fabulous. The coffee is great. I like having a flat white or iced coffee with coconut milk. My girlfriend loves the matcha with oat milk. We often sit outside in their outdoor cabins. The cabins are wonderful for small groups or when it's slightly rainy. There is plenty of parking nearby. The location is lovely.
