Under the guidance of Tony, Martin, and Aidan, whose expertise and unwavering support elevated our learning experience. However, the highlight of our journey was the state-of-the-art conference room, a testament to Strokestown's commitment to innovation. Here, we delved into an AI image workshop, harnessing the power of cutting-edge technology with Midjourney software, in collaboration with Creative Heartlands. We navigated through the intricacies of digital creativity, unlocking new realms of artistic expression. Beyond the captivating surroundings and immersive activities, what truly sets Strokestown House apart is the warmth and hospitality extended by its dedicated staff. From the moment we arrived until our departure, every interaction was marked by genuine care and attentiveness, ensuring our comfort and satisfaction at every turn. In essence, Strokesyown House and Gardens and Famkne Museum transcends the ordinary, offering a harmonious blend of history, innovation, and hospitality. Whether you're seeking a journey through time or a sanctuary for creative exploration, this enchanting mansion promises an experience that lingers long after the visit concludes.The Park's House has been opened after an extensive refurbishment and it's spectacular. The fairy woodland walk and Victorian Gardens are a treat, too. The House now also boasts a cafe and gift shop with the entrance akin to that of a five-star hotel. The staff are courteous, knowledgeable, and extremely accommodating for families. This year we had a wonderful time at the Victorian Santa Claus Experience. From start to finish it felt genuinely magical and very well organised. Eilish handled the tour perfectly. She guided everyone smoothly to where they needed to be, kept everything on schedule, and was professional and warm throughout. It made a real difference to the experience, especially with families and excited children. The elves were fantastic and fully in character, Santa was pure excellence, and Mrs Claus completely stole the show. She was engaging, funny, and memorable in the best possible way. I would highly recommend this to any family looking for an authentic and thoughtfully put together Santa experience. It felt special, immersive, and genuinely festive. Can't wait to go back again.

31/01/2026: Lovely atmosphere mixed age customers, found it a bit cold at the start but got warmer as the place filled up. We had a great time there and the food was just perfect. Grate place for a girls/lads night out no loud music a place for talk.

06/01/2026: Sober Lane is a fantastic spot with a lively but relaxed atmosphere. The food is really good, especially the comfort-style dishes, and the drinks selection is solid. It’s a great place to meet friends, enjoy a meal, or unwind with a few drinks. Friendly staff and a nice vibe make it a place worth coming back to. 🍻🍔

11/03/2026: We were recommended to Kennedy's by Mr. Murphy of Sweny's. He said it was the best Irish coffee around. He might be right. Otherwise it's a darn good one in a laid back pub with excellent ambiance and service.

31/12/2025: My husband and I were looking for a spot to host loved ones the day after our wedding. As Americans relatively unfamiliar to the best local spots in Dingle, our wedding planner swiftly recommended Bob Griffin’s. We were floored by fact that there was no up front cost required to reserve an area for our group. (Though we were happy to purchase our fair share of beverages from the bar upon arrival.) Bob Griffin’s was exactly where we wanted to be after an eventful wedding day: a cozy, welcoming, unpretentious bar to hang out and reminisce. We know where we’ll be for another pint the next time we’re in Dingle!

19/03/2026: We held a small wedding gathering at The club Room at the end of February, and we are very grateful to Andreea for her thoughtful planning and communication. Everything went smoothly, and the restaurant even has a lovely small garden outside, perfect for photos. With the sunny weather, everything was absolutely perfect!

22/02/2026: Large room at back - it's like being in a glasshouse, overlooking a garden. Staff were friendly, efficient and we hadwater &bread replaced with ease. We went at lunchtime so both a l carte & set menu available. My main was skate and fabulous. The dessert of Passion Fruit baked Alaska was quite disappointing - I was expecting a tall mound of meringue on an ice cream sponge base but instead the base was a bit hard - like a biscuit and the filling was a sorbet. It was very flat. Coffee good.

23/10/2025: I have a severe allergy to both milk and gluten, I don’t eat out at restaurants in the US much due to this. Kiely’s made me feel so comfortable with their allergy protocol and listing allergens on their menu as well. The fish and chips were delicious and such a treat. I love how light the breading was and had zero reactions. 💜 I will certainly visit again before I fly back home.
