The best restaurants

17/04/2026: Disappointed with the hot wings. They were full wings and not cooked crispy. IPA Drinks selection is excellent.

05/04/2026: We just stumbled upon this pub and it was the best decision ever! The food was amazing, and the staff were super friendly. We only waited about 5 minutes for a table, but they gave us drinks right away and we were seated before we knew it. I'd totally recommend this place over and over again!

23/04/2026: Decent pint of Guinness. Nice mix of young and old regulars. The youngish barman with the dark hair needs to cheer up and maybe reconsider his career choice though. Really let the experience down. Lots of tellies for the sport. I'll be back in the area a lot for work but might just stay closer to Galway and go to the bars there. Shame

02/04/2026: Lovely hotel, great location, room was perfect and had everything. Every single member of staff were great, with a special mention to Stephen on the residents bar/night porter. Have booked again for another break away.

23/10/2025: I have a severe allergy to both milk and gluten, I don’t eat out at restaurants in the US much due to this. Kiely’s made me feel so comfortable with their allergy protocol and listing allergens on their menu as well. The fish and chips were delicious and such a treat. I love how light the breading was and had zero reactions. 💜 I will certainly visit again before I fly back home.

17/04/2026: I cannot stress this enough - if you are nearby, go here. Everything was incredible. Some of the most delicious food we've ever had. The rump of lamb? Incredible. The almond and jam bakewell? Divine.

28/03/2026: Topnotch sea-bass pea/haddock risotto sublime. A birthday treat. It’s a great place to stop off on the way to Sligo or Mayo.

01/11/2025: Not celiac friendly... Reason: cross contamination possible. I come here to have gluten free fries. I'm celiac it always was great. Last time I think I had the bottom of the cone of my take away chips and I think I accidentally ate that crispy onion that maybe isn't gluten free. BTW I asked my fries with rosemary salt + Garlic Aioli. So the sauce is gluten free chips too. So what I wanted to say I have symptoms for today sore belly and itchy hands.

21/02/2026: Had a fantastic Sunday lunch. Food was well prepared and very tasty. Staff were very professional and very friendly. One of the nicest Sunday dinners that I’ve had in a long time and would definitely be returning along with friends and family alike.

13/12/2025: Food was ok, nothing too special, some of the staff were kind and welcoming but the lady with the dark long hair that run the till today was walking around literally shouting names of orders and was all in all quite intense. I wouldn’t go back

19/03/2026: Visited Lakeside Manor today, lovely location and food was brilliant. Although the place is beautiful the staff lets this place down unfortunately. We had a lovely waiter at the start and then a woman continued the service for the rest of the evening. We asked for drinks, she could not have been any more rude and we felt uncomfortable from her responses. We were given no cutlery or basic condiments. When we asked for some, we were walked away from with no acknowledgement. As people who work in hospitality we thought this response was absurd and it put a damper to our evening. We will still return as it’s a lovely spot and the food is great, however this could be worked on for future reference.

12/04/2026: 1st time here and was a very good experience, we ordered fish (Cod)and chips portion size was perfect with side of curry and mushy peas, curry sauce was very good and fruity, other was buffalo chicken burger with my friend said was very tasty also curry cheese chips, place was busy but we got a table place very clean and all staff very friendly and professional. Thanks

12/04/2026: We had such a wonderful experience at this place! The pizza was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked with fresh ingredients and amazing flavor in every bite. You can really tell they care about what they serve. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. Their friendly attitude and attentive service added so much to the overall experience. The atmosphere was also lovely, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal with friends or family. Everything was just spot on. We’ll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommended to anyone who loves great pizza and excellent service!

08/02/2026: I have never finished a pizza before.. ever..before tonight ! The pizza here is incredible! Freshly cooked with authentic toppings, no chain restaurant crap here. Options of 10 inch (I had) or 12 inch which Would be sharing. A very basic restaurant with a very special vibe , it’s like sitting in your granny’s 💗 basic menu but food cooked fresh and to perfection .. original paintings from his daughter adorn the walls … we will be back!

23/04/2026: High quality meal for a very reasonable price. Guinness, Appetizer, Main course and dessert for 2. (~€75) Fish Trio was spectacular!
