03/06/2026: I had lunch here today. A quiet wednesday. Lovely eclectic decor, much looked original. Friendly barman, helpful and informative. I had the Thai red chicken curry which was delicious! Loads of chicken, lovely creamy sauce with al dente vegetables - perfect. I had half a Guinness, though I don't like it in UK but this was lovely. A real treasure of a place.

26/05/2026: Absolutely incredible food. Easily one of the best Thai meals I’ve had in a long time. The portions were so generous, everything was packed with flavour, and you could genuinely taste the quality in every bite. Fresh, delicious, and so satisfying. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was lovely too. I’ll definitely be back.

05/06/2026: I've always liked this wee place but tonight was the first time I had eaten here since 2021. It wasn't particularly busy (just steady) but the staff are attentive (not pushy) and the food is good. I played it safe and had the steak burger with salad and skinny fries. If the choice is between the 'new' Orangerie in Da Vincis are coming down the road to Muff, I'll take the latter. (Plus it is always nice to see the bird carvings in the carpark.)

01/11/2025: Not celiac friendly... Reason: cross contamination possible.
I come here to have gluten free fries. I'm celiac it always was great. Last time I think I had the bottom of the cone of my take away chips and I think I accidentally ate that crispy onion that maybe isn't gluten free. BTW I asked my fries with rosemary salt + Garlic Aioli. So the sauce is gluten free chips too. So what I wanted to say I have symptoms for today sore belly and itchy hands.

The bar that was used in the making of the above film.A brilliant atmosphere. A very nice open fire thar added to the atmosphere. Memories of the film on the walls and a lot of information in relation to same. TV. Busy. Staff efficient and friendly.
Great location. Leenane would be a popular area for walkers.
A very nice craft shop close by to visit.
Lots of things to do.
Check it out.
13/05/2026: Great stop for a few drinks. Very local vibe. Nice to see the memorabilia from the iconic movie "the field", which was filmed in Leenane.

16/05/2026: This small venue is usually bustling but it’s worth it for the huge selection of donuts. The staff is quick and you won’t have to wait long.
15/05/2026: The donut was so good and actually reasonably priced for the quality and size you get.
The location is great, close to the park and Main Street.
The staff were really nice, and the coffee was good and hot.
