The best restaurants

27/03/2025: Had my son’s first birthday at this lovely venue! It is a great place to host a birthday party for your little one because it has a large area that filled with so many toys (and a bouncy castle 😀) to play with. Jodi is very easygoing to deal with from start to finish, we managed to book extra food and drinks for the adult, and we’re also allowed to decorate the place as well😊 We loved this place not only because it is great for kids, but they have a large parking area as well 😊 Definitely a place to consider when you want to celebrate your little one’s birthday.

19/02/2025: I recently had my daughters 1st birthday party here! The facilities are brilliant, there was a soft play area and age appropriate toys for the little ones. Jodi was AMAZING, so engaging and interactive, all of the kids loved her! All of the parents enjoyed drinking tea and coffee and spoke so highly of Jodi and the cafe. Would highly recommend!

14/01/2025: They offer the best breakfast I have had in a long time. Very good price quality and they offer a lot of food for the price of the dishes. The staff is very friendly and they were quick to cook. If I had to highlight a problem, it would be the cleanliness of the place, which seemed a little dirty, and that it tends to be too crowded, which can be a bit stressful, since the place is a bit small.

09/04/2025: Didn't realize they could give it to u for collection. Had it boxed up very well. Delighted and stuffed. I must say it's definitely not lacking in meat so well worth the price. Authentic tasty dishes. The rice paper rolls however were lacking in meat. One large prawn cut in half for one portion. Id like a little more for the price but still very tasty and would still return a third time. The pho is fantastic!

09/04/2025: Bumped into this outlet in a lane. As close to authentic beef Pho as you can here…far from home. The steaming hot soup was so good in a cold climate.

10/04/2025: Just popped in to charge laptop, but great selection of independent beers made me stay , and eat while I finished some work . Outside tables in pedestrian area or sofas inside. Recommended

05/04/2025: Lovely place to have a pint and some food. Super friendly staff who were very helpful with beer suggestions. The location was just outside of the super tourist area and close to my hotel. So perfect.

10/03/2025: I’m a regular at the Sweep, given I live locally and the food and service are always excellent. Portions are so generous we rarely have room for dessert, although desserts we’ve tried have been very good. Food is always hot and delicious. Staff are very friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. The roast beef is slow cooked overnight in a steam oven and meltingly tender.

11/03/2025: I was passing by on foot and I was curious about this place, from the outside very nice and elegant ... within and after a few minutes I sit down, I think the owners are very welcoming, he explains the menu and a few more minutes to order. Well-kept and excellent dishes ... the only negative note is that I don't prefer the cutlery on the table without a support, because the table is Minimal, it has no tablecloth (but this is my opinion) I will definitely return to this place. I recommend you to go for those who want to have an excellent culinary experience.

08/03/2025: Great food, greet service and atmosphere. Stepaside is fortunate to have this gem on its doorstep. Will certainly visit again when next in Dublin

22/04/2025: Staff ...5 stars ...excellent curtious staff working to the very highest standards..they made us feel welcome at the busiest of times . FOOD ....5 Stars ...The food was excellent. And I'm not one to beat about the bush if anything is amis ..my wife had the homemade burger and told me it was delicious. I had the haddock and chips . I was extremely impressed with the portion and quality. . My desert was no different .. well done chef. GUINNESS .5 STARS. . I'm a very fussy and long time drinker of Guinness. . And the arches didn't dissapoint . My wife also enjoyed her two pints of Guinness also .. Overall. Our experience of the restaurant facilities was of the highest standard. We recommend that you take advantage or the large parking area around the rear of the building and visit THE ARCHES bar and restaurant.

30/03/2025: Have been in for coffee a few times (take away). The place is so well run, with 3 ladies staffing and getting orders out in such quick time. The coffee itself is some of the best I’ve had, highly recommended.

16/03/2025: A fantastic night was had by all on Saturday 15th. Service was attentive, friendly and efficient. Food was outstanding. I’ve never had a bad meal here and whenever I visit home, I make sure to get a visit here. The best wings and steak going 🙌 The Argentinian Malbec and Erdinger lager were particularly popular with our group and thoroughly enjoyable! We were so grateful that the Stockhouse took our table size of 14 on what was obviously a busy night for them. Thank you all so much for making the night so special for my mam, we appreciate how special your staff made us all feel but my mum in particular. We will visit again for sure!

15/04/2025: Poor food. Seafood Chowder only regular and seafood / fish platter has only 1 oyster, prawns tasteless and mussels are not fresh. Chips seemed frozen. Good service though.

Este restaurante tiene precios razonables y un menú que satisfaría varias preferencias dietéticas, incluyendo vegetariana y vegana. La lasaña de ternera al horno era deliciosa y contenía sabrosa salsa boloñesa, mozzarella y parmesano fresco, pan de ajo servido. Disfrutamos de la comida y apreciamos el personal por el buen servicio.
