12/03/2026: A quick lunch turned into a culinary delight that lasted longer, we had venison that was cooked to perfection, I've not been in the castle hotel for many years but im glad to say the quality is as it was then, exquisite.

01/03/2026: Centrally located in Macroom on the Main Street. The hotel is a hive of activity boasting the hotel itself, a bar and eating area, a restaurant, with a swimming pool and gym in the leisure centre. The menu is substantial with plenty of options on the set menu's as well as the daily specials, which change daily. Staff are all friendly, pleasant and professional. There is plenty of car parking outside both on the main street as well as in the hotels own rear car park. Hotel also has a pool and gym area.

06/11/2025: You can just about everything here from Gym swimming pool, GAA RUGBY and Soccor pitch and Judo club. There's plenty of parking spaces to boot

27/10/2025: Facilities are great, but I’m surprised by the reception staff They are not well aware of how to inform newcomers who wanna join. They don’t have enough knowledge or experience literally pushing out the people like by find by yourself something online. I don’t understand if the staff saying to be searched by yourself then I don’t think so. The staff member should be there too then.

27/02/2026: Very laid back and truly delicious Indian food. The saag was super fresh and had a nice variety of vegetables when I ordered the veggie option. Good quick takeaway or great to eat in.

01/11/2025: Not celiac friendly... Reason: cross contamination possible. I come here to have gluten free fries. I'm celiac it always was great. Last time I think I had the bottom of the cone of my take away chips and I think I accidentally ate that crispy onion that maybe isn't gluten free. BTW I asked my fries with rosemary salt + Garlic Aioli. So the sauce is gluten free chips too. So what I wanted to say I have symptoms for today sore belly and itchy hands.

02/03/2026: Surprisingly tiny when you walk in. The food and service are nice but it gets really loud here in the evening, resulting in it being very stuffy and weird-smelling inside.

02/01/2026: This food here is michelin star worthy , first time I went I got steak medallions with Jameson pepper sauce on a bed of creamy mash , 5 STARS . Baileys coffee to wash it down , have been back countless times since , their fish specials are always great and always fresh

22/02/2026: Staff very young and not enough of them when we were there. Waiting for our order to be taken two drinks in. Food was very average. Burgers very dry and chips/ salad no flavor. Quite disappointing as reviews are good. A lot of money for a glorified burger!
