The best restaurants

17/02/2025: Possibly the best bakery I’ve ever been to. Definitely the best almond croissant of my life and perfect baguette. Cappuccino was also lovely. Cannot wait to return!

08/02/2025: Food always excellent and efficient service even at the busiest times. A great addition to our town and to our lives!

05/04/2025: We had mother's day lunch there. Then main plates (steak and pasta) was delicious. We also had a cheese board, which was actually a bit frustrating for the price. Not "enough". Just few pieces of cheese ans crackers in a small place, the way it came was also not beautiful, they could make it much better. Customer service I would say 8/10. We saw only 2 waitress there. The view, is absolutely beautiful! The sun was shining in their balcony till 5pm ish.. so blessed. Really recommend this place during summer time, sunny days, either to have food or drinks.

27/02/2025: Great little spot inside the local GAA club. We wanted a quick bite before attending the crematorium and it was ideal. Quick, tasty and good value. Service was excellent and friendly

12/03/2025: So how do you choose a pub in Dublin whilst waiting to go see the rugby game (yes... France won that day !!) ? Well hard to choose... all the pubs in the Temple Bar area seem fantastic... so you trust your instinct... and you go to the Norseman .... and with that, you can't get it wrong. Really beautiful decor... a classic pub... heartwarming and with brilliant energy. The staff was extremely friendly ... beer was great... and we had a couple of burgers which hit the spot.... all that with live music ! A great way and place to wait for the match .... and what a game it was... a great Irish team... which made the France victory that more meaningful (yes... I am French :) To the Norseman... thanks for having us and showing how welcoming Dublin and Ireland are. Really looking forward to coming back

11/03/2025: Lockey was great! and makes the best Irish coffee around ! but the manager was a big rude bloke who had no manners. Horrible man.

17/04/2025: Friendly staff, good food/drink, and live music. What else can you ask for? Lamb stew was delicious! Highly recommend.

05/04/2025: Rude staff member. They made a mistake and customer ahead of me very nicely pointed it out that the order was incorrect the person behind the counter was so aggressive in their response. I walked out I couldn’t believe my eyes. I don’t care how nice a beverage they serve I for one will not be back.

30/03/2025: Second time here - wanted to make sure the first time wasn't an anomaly :-). Such a great place! Plenty of parking even when it's busy, the staff is very welcoming and the service is great. The food was fresh, done well and with great care. The fries are outstanding. We were there with kids, plenty of food options and good desserts. Many options of draft beers, seems like since the place is busy the beer is very fresh. It's also very reasonably priced. I strongly recommend reserving a table, as it gets busy. Will definitely come back!

30/03/2025: The place is cool, no words to say. Quite big, nice looking, comfortable. The staff are good at their work. The parking lot is a free one. The outdoor area is great on a sunny day, a chilling place. The service was quick even though it was Mother’s Day. However, the food was so-so! It was fresh and good quality but dry and tasteless. We ordered a roasted beef and a beef burger, my friend would almost finish the coke stoke to swallow the food. I finished the ketchup to be able to eat my burger. Guys you need to cook the dishes juicy than that. Also, two glasses of white wine were ordered, it was warm, I feel sick myself so far because of the warm white wine.

07/02/2025: Last week Cris made a gluten free cake for our daughter’s 13th birthday. The cake was amazingly delicious. We all loved it. Since learning of our children’s allergies we’ve become resigned to gluten free cakes that don’t always taste as good as we’d like them to. This cake was unreal fabulous from the first bite to the last. The cake barely lasted until the following day. Thank you so much for making her special day even better!

03/02/2025: Ordered a custom cake for a corporate event with short notice and Chris was able to accommodate exactly what I needed and even cater for GF allergens. The Black Forest gateau was 10/10

04/04/2025: Gourmet experience of a special kind! Who doesn't dream of a main dish that looks like a side dish to a side dish? A few fine leaves of lettuce and a cocktail tomato without dressing and four very delicate slices of smoked salmon - probably draped with tweezers, it was that little. A poem in taste if you don't like poems. In terms of price, however, it's a really great opera. We left hungry, but with the realization that at least our wallets were lighter in the end.

31/03/2025: Stayed for one night.Very comfortable room with lovely sea view. Great food with friendly staff. Would definitely return again.

27/03/2025: The cook is great. Delicious. Very tasty. But very expensive, even by local standards. Dirty. The waiters were completely out of it, they brought something that wasn't ours, or didn't bring what we ordered. The robot didn't work. In short, I liked it overall. But I'll think about going there next time.

26/03/2025: Wide and varied menu. Not just sushi, there is something for everybody. The outside is deceptive, it is a lovely warm venue , nice atmosphere . Restaurant staff are excellent . There were five of us and we had a few special requests. Each one was catered for and remembered by the staff. good children’s menu . sitting at the chef’s table is entertaining if there is just two of you.

17/04/2025: Outdoor pool with the views of the Lee is very nice and relaxing. The food at the restaurant is very very nice, although pricy. The breakfast is good but the wait time on the orders from the menu can take a long time, but is worth it. The bacon was very greasy, uneatable I would say. Eggs are good, french toast is great and all the rest is good. Rooms are nice, could do with some new windows. All in all it was nice

16/04/2025: We did the "Afternoon Tea" experience which was well worth the price! Lots of anazing pastries and unlimited tea.
