25/04/2026: Unreal food, got the BBQ honey chicken wings they were amazing had to get some more to take home. Lovely friendly staff.

12/04/2026: One of my favourite places to drop in for a nice lunch/Dinner. First thing I noticed was comfortable seating area and good atmosphere, 2nd was great customer service, I have been in a few times over the winter when people were not in the best of humour due to cold rainy gloomy weather outside, however the manager has never failed to be friendly and good humoured and makes an effort to talk to everyone that walks in the door he is an asset to the business, the food is fantastic, very tasty, great to have parking outside too nice and easy access. This is a case of its not just the food, it's the people that make the business!

23/05/2026: It was a wonderful evening with live music in Galway. Great atmosphere and fantastic music for singing along and dancing. I'd love to do it again.

22/05/2026: Traditional pub feel in a big club. Food was great and plenty of gluten-free options.

09/06/2026: I wanted to love it, but several things fell short for us. We had a reservation, but the reception at the door was as if we were imposing a large group with no warning.... reservation was made weeks ago. Service was somewhat spotty with several staff attending- no consistency and some wait time. Bar manager seemed annoyed by our presence and our food allergy inquiries, and our musical requests to the band - odd feeling really. The food was just so so. Very little flavor in the salmon, the tarter sauce, the fish etc.... Nothing special. Didn't feel welcomed. Sorry, just wasn't a great experience.

02/06/2026: There were five of us at dinner and each of us had a different dish. We were all very satisfied. The atmosphere with the Irish music was also great.

30/05/2026: Was here quite recently and the food is very meh. Not really worth the price. There was quite a wait but not terrible. I got the breakfast hash and it was just bad. Dry, no real flavour, and the little swirl of sauce was basically useless. It was extremely loud Inside. The table beside us was basically shouting. Not recommended honestly. Better areas nearby.

28/05/2026: Visited for breakfast on a Monday morning and had a really lovely experience. Sitting outside on a sunny day is definitely worth it — you have beautiful sea views on one side and a charming pedestrian street on the other. There is some street noise, but it still adds to the atmosphere rather than taking away from it. The food was excellent. The healthy breakfast was really tasty and fresh, and the pancakes were delicious too. The portions are very generous — we actually had to pack the pancakes to take home. Great coffee, lovely atmosphere and a perfect spot to relax and enjoy breakfast.

23/10/2025: I have a severe allergy to both milk and gluten, I don’t eat out at restaurants in the US much due to this. Kiely’s made me feel so comfortable with their allergy protocol and listing allergens on their menu as well. The fish and chips were delicious and such a treat. I love how light the breading was and had zero reactions. 💜 I will certainly visit again before I fly back home.

02/05/2026: What a little gem in the heart of Wicklow. The lady was super friendly and the food amazing, as well as the coffee, which is rare. The prices were also excellent for the breakfast items. Loved also the fresh and still warm scones and sausage rolls. Can truly recommend this to anyone.

15/06/2026: Lovely restaurant with great food, in a slightly unexpected location. Small criticism is that I would prefer table service for an evening meal. The use of staff seemed a bit inefficient, though said staff were very welcoming.

03/06/2026: We would have loved to eat there, but unfortunately dogs aren't allowed… What a shame. This is the first time this has happened to us in a restaurant in Ireland.

30/05/2026: We received a top recommendation from our landlady. On our first evening, we had a table in the middle of the dining room. The food was so good that we made a reservation again for our second evening. We received a very friendly welcome and even got a window seat with a fantastic view. The pasta I had was excellent, and the steak was cooked to perfection. A truly lovely restaurant.

23/09/2025: The atmosphere was great, dont get me wrong, but it was pub quiz night and impossible to hear the questions!

07/09/2025: This is such a great pub. Lots of music and laughter. We also had one of the best pizzas ever. Wish I had a better picture.

05/04/2026: refused to give me my chocolate brownie and the kids pizza is about 1 millilitre thick. very disappointed with the food.

17/05/2026: I had a really disappointing experience at The Grove in Ennis this evening. I ordered the ribs, which unfortunately tasted like they had been frozen beforehand, and the steak was very tough. We normally don’t complain about food, so we just let it go and continued with the evening. What really upset us was the experience at the till when paying. A brunette female manager wearing a blue shirt had a very rude and dismissive attitude towards us. I explained that I could list everything we had ordered, but she abruptly told me “no” and insisted that I find the table number myself. After asking one of the waitresses for help and returning to the till, another waitress had to step in and assist me instead. My partner then confronted the manager about her attitude, and she immediately put her hand up at us and responded with “Excuse me?” in an aggressive tone before telling us “out.” We were genuinely shocked by how we were spoken to. There’s no excuse for treating paying customers like that. Very disappointing experience overall.

17/05/2026: The staff make this bar. They are all on the ball, quick and efficient. The food is excellent and the chefs do a top job. We attended Friday nights quiz (which was for charity) and had a great evening. Fair play to the Grove as they gave all tables food during the quiz (which was such fun). I would highly recommend this bar, you always get a smile, great service and a warm welcome.

14/05/2026: Very friendly staff/owner and incredibly delicious food. It was my first time eating Ethiopian food, and I'm disappointed that there isn't an Ethiopian restaurant in my hometown. A big compliment!

18/09/2025: Love, love, love these stores, both on a personal level and also from working with them via our brand Scribble & Stone. Vanessa and Marcus have done amazing work bringing the most gorgeous curated collections to Dublin across homewares, childrens and lifestyle gifting. Go and visit the 3 Dublin stores and the rest of the Drury street area for a real taste of Dublin and an all around lovely experience. Indie retail is becoming scarcer and scarcer in Ireland and globally so we really need to support these gems that make a visit to a city special and that in turn support other indie, local brands too.
