Sol y Sombra
Killorglin
05/08/2026: A truly magical wedding venue for couples looking for a more intimate and personalised wedding.
Our wedding at 10 Bridge Street in Killorglin was absolutely remarkable, and we could not be happier with how our special day turned out thanks to all the team at 10 Bridge Street.
From the moment we began planning, Cliodhna provided us with local vendor contacts, introduced us to Paul and Erwin from The Kingston Townhouse for accommodation and Terry from Shades of bloom, a local florist in Kilorglin for our beautiful flower column, who I should also mention provided outstanding customer service and professionalism throughout the entire process.
The flexibility of the venue allowed us to create a day that truly suited who we are and suited our budget. Cliodhna and her team gave us complete freedom over the atmosphere and the music, which allowed us to soundtrack our celebration exactly the way we wanted. We decided against live ceremony music and played our own song choices over the PA system which worked flawlessly and allowed us to put the money we saved towards a live band and DJ.
The level of care extended to every single one of our guests, particularly those with dietary restrictions. We received glowing feedback from our celiac guests, who mentioned that the staff went completely above and beyond to ensure they were safely and exceptionally well looked after. Knowing that our loved ones felt so safe and cared for regarding their food meant the world to us and speaks volumes about the team's attentiveness and professionalism.
All our guests raved about the food choices and how beautiful the food was. So good myself and my husband had a second helping of the starters, we had tried both at the menu tasting and could not decide which one we wanted more, the brie or the black pudding Bon Bon’s, And they were too good to share between us!
The location in Killorglin also proved to be the perfect base for our timeline. Because the team was so accommodating and organized, we were able to get our dream photos taken on the Dingle Peninsula before the ceremony, which is just under an hour away. Being able to capture those stunning coastal backdrops and still return for an intimate, tailored celebration at 10 Bridge Street made our wedding day everything we had ever hoped for.
Special mention to Maura’s Cottage flowers, The Celebrants way Cara Fuller, Shane Turner Photography, Wedding Stories by Maurice, SiogCakes and Pristine Classics Wedding car and Ice Cream bike who all brought something special to the day.
10 Bridge Street gave us a truly unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime wedding, and we genuinely cannot recommend them enough.
15/06/2026: To anybody that is planning a wedding don't look any further than 10 bridge street. I'm 58 year's old and been to quite a few weddings in my life but none of them can compare to bridge street, absolutely brilliant experience from start to finish.my daughter got married here on the June bank holiday, right from the start while clionadh was discussing options for them totally relaxing experience nothing is a problem, very budget friendly, beautiful building stained glass windows are gorgeous, acoustics are astounding,a far superior venue than some of the more overpriced popular spots, food was to die for every plate went back cleaned, the pint's 10 out of 10 clionadh, Debbie, eurena and the rest of the staff were fantastic and I'll say it again nothing was a problem if you wanted more food you got it no questions about it they couldn't be more helpful,I myself if I could give a 10! Star rating I'd do it all day long perfection some of the expensive venues could learn an awful lot from clionadh you will have no regrets if you decide to book your wedding day here at bridge street I can honestly say not being biased since it was my daughter that it was the best wedding venue that I've ever been at and everyone else was of the same opinion, so thanks for the great day clionadh and the gang and best wishes for the future from a very happy dad ,Mick from cork

Box'd! Coffee Co
Cork
07/07/2026: I often visit Box'D Drive Through Coffee shop. The team members are friendly, fast, and fabulous. The coffee is great.
I like having a flat white or iced coffee with coconut milk. My girlfriend loves the matcha with oat milk.
We often sit outside in their outdoor cabins. The cabins are wonderful for small groups or when it's slightly rainy.
There is plenty of parking nearby. The location is lovely.
29/05/2026: One of my favourite places to get coffee! Staff are always so friendly and coffee is top notch!

GiGi
Dublin
10/07/2026: We had a fantastic meal at Gigi in Ranelagh. The food was absolutely delicious – we started with the burrata, followed by the prawn pasta and the penne arrabbiata, with fries and broccolini on the side. Everything was fresh, full of flavour, and cooked perfectly.
The staff were brilliant too – super friendly, and they created such a welcoming atmosphere. The whole place has a really authentic feel and a great vibe.
I’d definitely recommend Gigi to anyone looking for excellent Italian food in Dublin, and we’ll absolutely be back!
08/07/2026: Came here last weekend with my boyfriend and as soon as we came in we were greeted & treated very well, the Italian waiter was really helpful & all the workers there took care of us!
Wine was really good & atmosphere in the place is really nice for drink

Hanley's Cornish Pasties
Dublin
24/07/2026: If you like blue cheese, get the Dubliner. It was excellent. We also tried the pork and apple. Not a winner. Great place for a cheap and hearty snack on the go.
23/07/2026: It is not that much good for vegetarian options. I tried 2 of their pastries and it was average. The one i get at apple green the vegan roll is much better than pastries here. For vegetarian its ok.

Carroll's on Dominick Street
Galway
17/07/2026: Wife and I stumbled across this pub walking home from dinner on a summer Thursday night. It was an amazing experience, hard to describe, but maybe like walking into a large Irish musical family's home. About 15 musicians ranging in age from perhaps 80 to 25, sitting in a circle, and jamming out Irish jigs and ballads. Not sure how often it happens, but if it's on, you should go!
07/07/2026: Great evening with a group on Friday.
Staff very accommodating, atmosphere brilliant. We all had a great night.

Musashi Blackrock
Dublin
19/07/2026: Excellent! The food, service and ambience of the restaurant! We dined here five times during our 17 days stay in Blackrock while exploring Dublin. We enjoyed all five dining experiences at Musashi Blackrock! Sushi rolls were great, Wagyu beef was incredible, cheesecake for dessert was divine, and service was warm and prompt every time of our visit! We liked very much fruit wines the restaurant offers: plum original and strawberry flavor. And at this restaurant we discovered Orchard’s Thieves Irish Apple cider that is now our favorite type of cider. We hope to find this cider in the US.
In short, Musashi became our favorite restaurant to dine out in Blackrock area!
02/07/2026: I had a lunch with my girlfriend and first time in this branch which was awesome. And Sean was great service and kind. It was a great experience.
Food was incredible
