Bailey's
Cashel legal
29/07/2026: Beautiful food i had the chicken stirfry very tasty would recomend .
20/07/2026: Disappointed, we returned a year later, and while the restaurant was still just as crowded, the dishes had changed. The regular version was exactly the same as the children's version. The price, however, was more than double. Far too expensive for what was served. The waitress, on the other hand, was very nice.

Meet&fit
Tullamore
04/07/2026: Food has been delicious all times i have been there.
Waitresses have always given great customer service. Last time i asked to remove onions and add guacamole on the burger ( which they always did) but the new waitress said no... not even a chance to add as an add on and pay extra, just no.
But it is a delicious food.
18/06/2026: The food here was absolutely amazing and the waitress was more than accommodating asking if I wanted things on the side and if I wanted season on my chips , the coffee was honestly one of the best I’ve had and the full Irish was fresh and for 14.50 had everything you’d want on a full Irish , cannot reccomend enough

Mutton Lane Inn
Cork
03/08/2026: Lovely spot for a night out in Cork or for a few drinks with friends
01/08/2026: The Mutton Lane Inn, situated in the historic-centre of Cork, stands as a testament to the city’s rich socio-cultural and mercantile-heritage. Tucked unobtrusively into a narrow, dimly-lit alleyway connecting St. Patrick’s Street to the renowned English Market, the establishment offers a quintessential, yet highly-distinctive, public-house experience. Its aesthetic can best be described as seedy-elegant—a beautifully-aged, wood-panelled interior illuminated by the warm half-light of flickering-candles and, during the winter-months, a roaring open-fire.
Dating back to 1787, the inn is among the oldest continually-operating drinking-establishments within the city-limits. The lane itself derives its nomenclature from its historical-function as a thoroughfare for driving live-sheep into the adjacent-market. Historically, the pub recorded some of the highest per-square-foot whiskey-sales in Ireland, serving as a venue where cattle-drovers and butchers would purchase a well-earned dram for their junior-staff after a labour-intensive day. Today, the exterior-alley is defined by an expansive, Cork-centric mural executed by the artist Anthony Ruby. This well-respected public-artwork illustrates the vibrant street-life of the area and serves as a visual-prelude to the inn's interior.
Upon entering, patrons are immediately struck by the exceptional-hospitality of the bar-staff, who are universally-recognised for their welcoming-demeanour and deep-seated knowledge of local-stouts and craft-beers. In a deliberate-rejection of modern-distraction, the venue actively-eschews televisions, thereby prioritising interpersonal-conversation and the cultivation of an intimate-atmosphere.
Culturally, the Mutton Lane Inn functions as a critical-node for Cork’s musical-heritage. It regularly hosts traditional-Irish music-sessions, seamlessly-blending these with carefully-curated alternative-genres. This auditory-landscape perfectly-complements the visual-memorabilia adorning the walls, which includes framed-photographs of notable cultural-figures such as Johnny Cash, alongside John F. Kennedy and Jacqueline Kennedy. Such iconography highlights the intersection of local-tradition and broader Anglo-American musical-influences. Furthermore, the symbiotic-relationship with the English Market allows patrons to consume market-delicacies within the pub, reinforcing its status as a communal-hub.
In conclusion, the Mutton Lane Inn is not merely a venue for the consumption of alcohol, but a deeply-ingrained cultural-institution. For the modest-expenditure of a few pounds (£) for a well-poured pint, visitors can partake in its seedy-elegant charm, historical-lineage, and unwavering-commitment to authentic-music and convivial-hospitality. These elements render it an indispensable-component of Cork's civic-fabric, offering an analogue-retreat steeped in history.

High Cafe
Galway
15/07/2026: A bit hidden from the street, which actually was nice since it was so busy that day in Galway. The food was delicious. We had the lamb tagine and the sweet lamb tagine, which came in big portions. The service was great as well! They offered everyone a jug of water for deze, which was extra welcome because of the heat outside. There's no alcohol on the menu, but you can grab an alcoholic drink in the bar downstairs and bring it to the restaurant.
10/07/2026: Such a hole in the wall cozy calm place away from the noise of latin quarters.
Food was really really good. Ordered a soup and a falafel plate. Falafel was light (not oily) and fluffy. The side salad was delicious. The bread with soup was lovely as well. Highly recommend this place!

12/07/2026: Electric oven pizza, nothing too special but also okish, average. We came at 09 pm after a running race nearby and since they close 09:30, got at least takeaway (but had to watch it since a burglar was around!!🕊️😃)… the girl at thr door was super nice, fast and professional (which was a completely different experience we had at their other location one day later)
11/07/2026: Val, our server, was really helpful! Shout out to her!
