The best restaurants

13/09/2026: A fabulous gem in naas .. Theres a shop & cafe rolled into one ..went for breakfast there recently ..It's a great option in the centre of Naas. The coffee pastries and desserts are so tasty and so are the full irish breakfasts. The portions are generous and there is plenty of seating indoors and more seating for outside dining if weather permits .. opens at 6.30 am every morning 7 days a week .. bought some groceries as i left plenty to choose from .. the seeded sourdough is delicious..

07/09/2026: It has been a while since our last visit, and the restaurant has undergone a fantastic transformation! The new extension is fabulous, creating a lot more seating capacity and a wonderful atmosphere for customers. The food is absolutely amazing—my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast here. The staff are brilliant too, and the young ladies working here do a great job of keeping the entire place spotless and tidy. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great spot to visit from breakfast time right through to the afternoon! 🍰❤️☀️

14/07/2026: Stopped here for lunch. Highly recommended - especially the fish cakes which seem to be the specialty. Also dog friendly

26/06/2026: Stayed here with a group of family and friends while golfing at Carne. The rooms were fabulous and the staff where super friendly and efficient. The seafood in the resutarant was delcious. Fantastic fish cakes. The staff were also vert helpful in returning a forgotten item to ,e Would highly recommend staying at the Talbot

20/08/2026: We went at a quiet mid afternoon and had a peaceful lovely meal. They cater for GF diets and all pasta dishes and have GF pizza bases. A truly relaxing experience with great unobtrusive staff.

16/08/2026: I recently went to this restaurant for lunch with a friend. I ordered a salad and my friend had a pizza. The food was good overall, so I would give it 4 stars. Unfortunately, the service really let the experience down. The waitresses kept coming over and asking if we were ready to order, even though we clearly weren’t. It became quite irritating and felt very unprofessional. We got the impression that they simply wanted us to order and leave as quickly as possible. The restaurant was also very busy, which made it difficult to have a conversation and made the atmosphere feel quite overwhelming. Overall, the food was good, but the service made the experience much less enjoyable than it could have been.

23/09/2026: The food here was really good and staff were nice. Atmosphere was pleasant too, not too loud or noisy but rather calm and quiet for an evening dinner out. Will be back here again sometime. They had many veggie options too which is a plus.

29/08/2026: Great spot for pub style food. Seems to be family run which is nice. Had the sunday roast which was lovely and went back for a half chicken with veg, stuffing and gravy which was to die for!

16/05/2026: A great place to stay overnight. The rooms have been recently renovated. It was done nicely, but the finishing could have been checked over. There were paint residues and loose pieces of wallpaper. We had dinner in the restaurant. It tasted delicious. It is really worth it. Afterwards, you can walk right over to the pub located in the same building. Cozy and intimate with lots of locals.

14/09/2026: Glad presents itself exceptionally well, fully living up to the expectations of a restaurant that has been featured in the Michelin Guide for some time. The menu is thoughtfully curated, sophisticated, and entirely vegetarian, with numerous vegan options. Furthermore, the ambience and interior design contribute to an elegant, fine-dining atmosphere. The menu showcases a creative array of vegetables prepared in unique, surprising ways. We particularly appreciated the attentive service, as the staff were thorough in describing every single dish. However, I did notice a few minor hiccups - most notably during the wine service, which left drops and marks on the table. Additionally, hearing the staff chat within earshot about whether customers were on a first or last date felt rather unprofessional. While these issues may seem minor, they fell slightly short of the standard expected from an establishment of this caliber.

13/08/2026: We stopped for lunch at this place because it was on our route. We ordered a tasting combo with three of their meats, and everything was very good: Irish sausages, chicken, and beef. At first, it seemed like a small amount for two, but it was quite filling. The staff was very attentive.

16/08/2026: I've been to a few Asian restaurants in Ireland, but this one really stands out. They serve amazing food!! Very nice and relaxing atmosphere. Service is top. Tried a few dishes, everything was amazing. Would defo recommend this place to anyone.

07/08/2026: Amazing food and amazing service. Only regret is getting a bowl of Tom Yam instead of a pot! Will definitely be returning again and again.

02/09/2026: Absolute gem of a place and food is incredible. Roast chicken pot is a must try. Wonderful location right next to the park and perfect for a pre or post lunch walk.

30/08/2026: Stopped in by chance on the way home from a day out and SO glad we did. Gorgeous gastropub, staff were so friendly and attentive, and the food was unreal. Even some live music which was apparently a rare treat! Would fully recommend and will definitely be back.
