Jacques
Cork
22/02/2026: Very disappointed overall.Took my son for a special occasion.Very loud on arrival from people at bar counter asked to move but staff member said the group were leaving ( which they did ) .We ordered 2 starters both small ,tasty enough. .However it was the 2 main courses that were so disappointing I ordered the hake ,brocolini and mash and my son ordered the featherblade of beef ,both portions were small ,the broccoli was 2 pieces of tenderstem. My sons beef was small he was starving after it. .With one non alcoholic wine meal came to 92 euro ..I dont mind paying for something if Its filling and good value but we both left hungry .My son went home for a bowl of cereal.Overall very disappointing experience.Wish I had seen previous persons review ( Sarah ) bfore I booked. We had similar experiences.
15/02/2026: Overall a very mid experience for a fine dining restaurant, when paying such high price for the food you'd expect just a bit more than one mushroom and one broccoli, the chips were not even crispy and more soggy unfortunately, seasoned well beef however too much blood on the beef, , plating was just so basic, the vibe was an interesting experience just way too dark

Shells Cafe
Strandhill
04/03/2026: Food always v good. Coffee some of the best around. Staff amazing and v friendly
19/02/2026: Perfect Breakfast/Lunch spot in Strandhill. I got the ham and cheese Toastie, and my girlfriend got the Korean chicken sandwich. Both were gorgeous, with very nice quality ingredients. We had to wait a little bit to get a seat. When we did get a seat it was beside the door which kept being left opened with the cold air coming in. Apart from that it was a perfect experience 😊😊

The Canvas Restaurant
Kilcock
20/09/2025: We were on our way to the Dublin airport and stopped at the Canvas for dinner. It was delicious and the service was outstanding!!! I highly recommend it!!
14/09/2025: I'm not surprised the majority of the reviews are 5 stars which is well worthy for this beautiful restaurant. I had the seafood linguine which was delicious and so flavoursome. So simple yet so delicious. My family really enjoyed their dishes. If I was to critique one thing, it's small and quite noisy which if your sensitive in hearing can be hard. But it was a Saturday night and late booking. Next time I'd visit earlier. I knew the food would be tip class as I also ate in your canvas cafe in kill which was supberb

Gourmet Burger Kitchen
Dublin
13/12/2025: Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. We were served burgers without fries, which were not included or even offered. The burgers themselves were very basic and quite poor in quality. Considering the price, the value for money was not good at all. We expected much more for what we paid.
28/11/2025: Great experience, delicious burgers and super friendly staff! I highly recommend it.

Wilde
Dublin
05/03/2026: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was our third time back at the wine and food pairing night at The Westbury, and it was once again an absolutely fantastic experience. The evening was beautifully hosted by Sofie Cutten — the true Champagne Queen, whose knowledge and charm made the night even more special.
A special mention to our GOAT, Shakeel, who made the evening absolutely fabulous with his warmth and impeccable service.
The food was, as always, outstanding, perfectly paired and beautifully presented. Nights like this are exactly why we keep coming back.
Already looking forward to the next one. Highly recommended! 🍾✨
01/03/2026: I've been here with my partner, family and friends about 10 times over the past couple of years. It has consistency excellent service, fantastic food and is very good value for money. Last night I had the scallops, venison and yummy chocolate desert plus a perfect old fashioned Irish coffee. Absolutely perfect meal in a decadent environment, lovely relaxed ambience and right in the city center. My favourite restaurant for consistency and scrumptious food and drinks.

Flower & Bean
Dublin
02/12/2025: Wow this is a little hidden gem :) It is in a little random place but once you find it, it is a cozy and warm place to be! Great for kids and the food... is one of the best bang for buck deals in Dublin!!
27/11/2025: This place is gorgeous. The food is carefully sourced, well made and fairly priced, but above all delicious. Sitting by the window with a coffee in an enamel cup is a singular joy. I have noticed it is really family friendly also. The owners have created something really special here.

Salsa Authentic Mexican Food & Bar
Dublin
03/02/2026: I love tacos here but they are very expensive,
The tacos are authentic Mexican flavor, I have been trying different restaurants and this one is my top 1 only for birria tacos, I wish they could serve more soup, they only give a little bit of it and the price is very high. Staff is a bit rude, tables are very close and space is too small
26/01/2026: We ate there twice, and both times it was yummy and flavorful :) The consomé is great and tacos filling !

The Kings Inn
Dublin
02/11/2025: Really unusual, cosy pub. We just found it because we were looking for a pet friendly place near Henry St. Lovely little snugs/booths. 80’s & 90’s alternative hits playing. Will definitely be back. Hidden gem
25/10/2025: I didn't eat anything, so it's hard to comment, but the place has a true Irish feel. The bartender is wonderful and helpful. The individual booths and local people are just what I was looking for in Dublin :)

Casadh an TSúgain
Loch an iúir
22/02/2026: Stayed about 2 minutes walk from here for the week and were desperate for it to be Thursday so we could try it. We were not disappointed because the food was so good! I had the beef and Guinness pie which was absolutely delicious and came with a great choice of sides, my partner had steak which he enjoyed and the kids meal was also a great sized portion and price. We had desserts too profiteroles and a sticky toffee pudding both of which were perfect ends to the meal. The menu is varied and has some really good choices, theres something for everyone. Staff were friendly and welcoming, prices were reasonable and the whole experience was lovely. Wish our stay was longer so we could come again!

House of Read
Dublin
22/12/2025: Cute teahouse with the sweetest waiter. Be sure to try the sausage rolls with relish.
05/12/2025: I have passed by this chocolatier’s many times . That changed yesterday. The layout inside is a feast for the eyes , so many beautiful chocolate creations inside . The man serving us yesterday was so friendly . We had a hot chocolate and an americano and had to try the cakes. So picked up a rocky road and a chocolate caramel shortcake. Have to say everything was outstanding. Fell in love with the place. You seriously need to give this beautiful place a visit. I know my hot chocolate and this was one of the best.

Grano
Dublin
25/02/2026: Everything is incredible. It is on par with some of the best Italian food in the world. (Seriously!) Total bill for 3 courses and 2 glasses of wine was €100.
We ordered Nduja and Arancini starters, Balanzoni and Beef Ragu for mains and Tirimasu and Cannoli Dough for dessert. Highly recommend everything we ate.
Thank you Grano, we rebooked to come back as soon as possible!
21/02/2026: Dinner at Grano confirms the solidity of a restaurant that, despite its small size, manages to express a clear and coherent gastronomic signature. The place is intimate, with just a few well-spaced tables: a detail that contributes to the intimate experience but makes reservations well in advance essential. Demand is high, and understandably so.
The ambiance is simple yet refined, with a casual elegance that leaves room for the true protagonist: the dish. The two of us chose different yet complementary dishes. The amatriciana stood out for its rigorous execution: lively, yet not overpowering, tomatoes, well-browned pork cheek, savory but not overpowering, and a creamy sauce that binds the dish together without weighing it down. The pasta, cooked with precision, balanced the sauce, offering an interpretation faithful to tradition but not overly didactic.
The spinach ravioli my companion chose displayed a more delicate yet equally focused tone: thin pastry, a filling well-balanced between vegetal and creamy lactic acid, and a buttery finish that was never cloying. Two dishes with distinct character, both executed with technical attention and respect for the ingredients.
A well-structured Chianti, chosen with the support of a competent and never intrusive dining room staff, accompanied the meal. The wine paired naturally with the amatriciana, enhancing its flavor, but also proved harmonious with the ravioli, a sign of a thoughtful and coherent wine selection.
A small mix-up in the kitchen resulted in a longer-than-expected wait. The management of the unexpected event, however, deserves mention: transparent communication, professional attitude, and, at the end, a tiramisu offered as a gesture of thoughtfulness. Not simply a gift, but a sign of care toward the guest. The dessert, moreover, was excellent: airy cream, a balance of coffee and cocoa, and a firm but not heavy texture.
Grano thus demonstrates a maturity that goes beyond fine dining. Not only well-executed dishes, but also the ability to master the overall experience, including unexpected events. In a competitive city like Dublin, this combination of culinary quality, intimate setting, and attentive service explains the numerous excellent ratings. A successful dinner for two, with personality and restraint.
