08/05/2026: I like their menu and the atmosphere here. It’s a great experience.

04/05/2026: FX Buckley was recommended to us for their amazing steaks. We visited on a Sunday (bank holiday weekend). The food was great - ordered Chateaubriand for two; however the venue was extremely noisy we were sat inbetween two very loud tables. It is essentially a gastro pub where people come for drinks too and so it can be unpleasant - we had to shout to hear each other. Service is pretty average, we got one of our drinks wrong, were asked once if the food is okay and no offer for dessert et c. If I can offer 4.5 out of 5 for the food; the service and ambiance is a let down at 1.5-2 out of 5.

18/03/2026: A pleasant and cozy atmosphere. Excellent for meeting up with friends and enjoying good Portuguese food (you can also satisfy your craving for Brazilian food). Worth a visit!

13/04/2026: We recently enjoyed a wonderful family stay at Cliff at Lyons, where we stayed in one of the charming cottages. The accommodation was beautifully appointed, offering a perfect blend of comfort and style, and provided a relaxing retreat for us all. The surroundings are simply stunning, with a unique atmosphere that feels both luxurious and warmly inviting. Our dining experience at Shackleton Mill Restaurant was truly exceptional. The food was outstanding, thoughtfully prepared, and full of flavour, while the service was warm, attentive, and added to the overall sense of occasion. Breakfast each morning was equally impressive, with a great selection and quality that set us up perfectly for the day. Every member of staff we encountered was absolutely lovely, friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming, which made our stay all the more enjoyable. The pantry goodies were a delightful and we grabbed some to take home and polished most of them off on our drive back to Cork. Overall, it was a truly memorable stay from start to finish, and we very much look forward to

12/04/2026: We cycled along the canal to the Cliff at the Lyons Coffee shop, the Pantry. Excellent location, luv their Brownie and Biscoff shortbread...good coffee, great vibes in a lovely location. Top tip, there is a shelter behind the Cafe if the weather is an issue and no room inside.

02/11/2025: We had breakfast at Foodgame today and were very satisfied overall. The food was really delicious – large portions, and we had bagels and eggs, among other things, exactly as we ordered. The ingredients seemed fresh, the coffee was excellent, and you can tell they place a lot of emphasis on homemade items. The only slight drawback was the noise level: it was quite loud in the café, which made a quiet conversation a bit difficult. Nevertheless, I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a good breakfast with plenty of choices and a big appetite.

28/10/2025: Staff so friendly to our kids. We love going there at the weekend. Breakfast burrito and avocado toast two highlights. They should sell their chipotle mayo!!!

12/12/2025: What a beautiful café! I had breakfast here this morning and enjoyed a lovely mini breakfast. The service was prompt, and the owner is wonderful — He really looks after everyone with genuine care. A lovely addition to Westport!

27/04/2026: Your perfect neighbourhood cafe! Amazing staff with good food and they were serving food late in the afternoon while other restaurants’ kitchens had already shut ! Their parking is kinda quirk in a cool way - it seems like a fuel station converted. Reasonable pricing

26/11/2025: I had the breakfast bap here. Was fantastic, as was the coffee and service. A real gem of a place, and clearly very well run. We arrived at Kilkee in very unfortunate circumstances, and were afforded a private space by the owners, who supported us during an incredibly difficult time. Kindness knows no bounds, and we are forever grateful for the support they showed us.

19/11/2025: I can’t recommend this place enough, looking great food and an even better view ? Diamond rocks is the place for you. Why pay for the cliffs of Moher when you can enjoy the diamond rocks sipping a freshly squeezed orange juice from the comfort of this stunning cafe.

29/09/2025: My daughter enjoyed her birthday party here recently. What a fantastic experience. The birthday march was so cute! The staff were really helpful and easy going. The kids enjoyed the playing and the yummy Supermacs meal! Highly recommend.
