21/09/2025: Very nice and cosy place. I ordered BBQ ribs and chips with glass of Merlot wine. Ribs were amazing: well marinated, soft and sweet. Banoffi desert was not too sweet and good. It was very delicious.

14/09/2025: This was the best food I’ve had in Ireland in many years.The owners were delightful, the atmosphere was relaxed and the menu was creative.

02/01/2026: Absolutely terrible experience – avoid. The Mad Egg in Liffey Valley was one of the worst food experiences I’ve ever had. To start with, the place was absolutely freezing. There’s no proper front door, just thin curtains separating the inside from the outside — in this weather that’s completely unacceptable and made the whole place uncomfortable before we even ate. The food itself was a huge concern. It came out far too quickly, to the point where it raised serious red flags. I’ve worked in the food industry for years across bars, hotels, and restaurants, and I have never seen food prepared and served that fast unless it was pre-cooked and reheated. It didn’t feel freshly made at all. Within hours of eating here, both myself and my girlfriend became extremely sick, and we’ve been unwell for the past 24 hours. I have never been this sick from food before. This wasn’t a coincidence — it was very clearly food-related. I’ve eaten Mad Egg a couple of times in different locations around Dublin city centre in the past and never had an issue, but this location has completely put me off the brand. Between the freezing conditions, the questionable food preparation, and getting sick afterwards, we will never eat at Mad Egg again.

25/10/2025: 5 stars all the way for our day 2 wedding celebrations at Swan's Curragh. If you are looking for a venue look no further than Swan's. Amazing atmosphere and very friendly staff. 03/03/2026: We were passing by on Sunday the 1st of March 2026. Great seating and service and not overpriced. Table of 16 full breakfast and chips all round coffee teas had a great time very good and fast service 👌 the bike meet was a nice touch and they all were nice to talk to. Made my day ❤️ 💕 ♥️ and extra treat was the ice cream shop 😋 😍 😀

26/02/2026: Perfect. Breakfast was so fast and delicious and an excellent price. Staff were so friendly and had such attention to detail. Very clean and welcoming. 10/10 thank you for a lovely breakfast before a long drive home 💕 GF options and Herbal teas. Coffee was delicious. Bacon was so thick 🤤 parking easy and convenient. There's enclosed outdoor space to sit too if you should so wish. I'm sure it's lovely in summer. It was moderately busy when we were there and classic fm was playing so it was really nice and calm.

05/10/2025: Attentive and friendly service. The food was excellent, and one dish was even made vegetarian at our request. The atmosphere is lovely, and you feel at home. Update after another trip to Ireland: I ate there three times. Each time it was a highlight. The food is so incredibly delicious. The service was still excellent and friendly 👍

25/09/2025: Hiney's has always been a fantastic pub with great food and beverage and our recent visit was enjoyed by all. We arrived there at the end of a 65km walk in aid of the Irish Heart Foundation and we couldn't confirm a booking in advance as it seemed to be touch and go with how late we might arrive. Thankfully with some last minute running we made it before the kitchen closed. All super and had a lovely time with a well earned pint and some delicious food.

11/03/2026: I wrote a review here three years ago, and after living in Dublin for over six years, I’m back to say that Night Market is still comfortably the most authentic Thai food you will find in Ireland—and quite possibly in all of Europe. As a Thai native, I’m very picky. Most places offer a 'one-chef-fits-all' menu, but Night Market is different. They actually bring in chefs from the six major regions of Thailand, ensuring that every dish stays true to its roots. You aren't getting a generic version of Thai food here; you’re getting the real deal. The Khao Soi is a perfect example—it tastes exactly like what you’d find in a top-tier spot in Chiang Mai, and the portion is massive. Their Duck Red Curry is another masterpiece, rich and complex, honestly better than many high-end restaurants back in Thailand. My kids are obsessed with the Moo Ping (Grilled Pork Skewers) and sticky rice, which is always a sign of quality. And a pro-tip from a local: do not skip dessert. Their Brownie is incredibly rich and dense; it's hard to find anything like it elsewhere. The staff are excellent, the menu is well-structured, and the pricing is very reasonable for the quality you're getting. Don't even try to compare this to your standard local takeaway; this is proper Thai culinary art. If you want the most authentic Thai experience in D6, this is the only place that matters. Still 5 stars, no questions asked!

24/10/2025: What an excellent little deli! The staff were lovely too. I heard the lovely gentleman behind the counter say that they never reused meat from the day before and you can absolutely taste the freshness. Will absolutely be back if I’m ever in the neighbourhood again.

21/10/2025: One of the nicest sandwiches I’ve ever had. With a name like Pig and Heifer, I wasn’t sure about what the vegetarian options would be, I got Gorgonzola and Veg on toasted Sour Dough. The produce is at the highest end you can get, just 10/10. Also, seemed to be independently owned with regular customers, good atmosphere.

15/03/2026: I have never had a bad meal here. Party of 15, no problem attentive service, varied menu to suit. A+.

16/02/2026: We had a meal on valentines night not impressed way over priced we had two portions of garlic mushrooms for starters @ €19.80 for about 7 mushrooms each on 2 plates with bit of garlic mayonnaise wife main course was lovely my steak medium cooked was like rubber dessert was fantastic sorry but don't think we'll be back
