The best restaurants

30/06/2025: Honestly legendary. Went for breakfast and got the regular and N.Y. breakfast rolls with the wife. They were life alteringly good. We sadly didn't have time to return the second and third times we wish we could have gone. Chatted it up with who I assume was the owner and had a good talk. They were offering a discount if you legitimately read 10 pages of a book from their shelf, too. I naturally grabbed a cheese book to look at the pictures, and had a good bit of banter about the finer parts of cheese. Course, looking at pictures doesn't count as reading 😂

30/06/2025: Pat was a lovely gent! We went in as English couple getting some breakfast, he recommend the breakfast sandwich with relish which was delicious and I had the chicken melt which was lush. He was super accommodating, talkative and had some good banter😂defo recommend whether you’re from Dublin or just a tourist!!! 10/10!

18/08/2025: North of the Dublin River it's different. Life is more normal. This place has a special charm. Eclectic but original decor. Brunch dishes, sandwiches and excellent coffee in all varieties. Few tables outside and few inside but it's not hard to find a place. The price is in line with the city, but here you have more carefully selected products.

12/08/2025: Absolutely a must find experience in the heart of Dublin. A nondescript door and doorbell on a busy side street, leads to a gorgeous multilevel, 1930s style speakeasy. The rooms are adorned with velvet furnishings and beautiful art nouveau decor while jazz quietly plays in the background. The menu offers a variety of classic and unique cocktail creations, accompanied by the history of different liquors through the decades. The charcuterie and cheese board was one of the best we’ve ever had. There are cozy nooks and tables on every floor, but we sat at the bar and enjoyed watching the very talented mixologist whipping up his concoctions. While they do not require a reservation, making one ensures you have a time slot, they don’t guarantee that they’ll have a spot if you just ring the bell. Also, this is a strictly 23 years old and older experience. In summary, the drinks were delicious, the food was fantastic, the mixologist was knowledgeable and friendly and the unique entry experience and ambience was so beautiful. It was perfection, from beginning to end!

18/07/2025: Food was absolutely delicious! I had the Ravioli with spinach and ricotta. We showed up without booking and it was very busy. We were lucky, as they made a plan to accommodate us. The food was very well priced, especially for a restaurant that makes delicious food! Will definitely be going there again when we visit Tralee again.

21/08/2025: Good Italian. Prices are relatively high. The restaurant is very small, which is why the noise level is quite high.

21/08/2025: The pizzas were fresh, with good, airy dough. The toppings were excellent, but rather sparse. The staff was attentive and friendly. The location is great, right in the middle of the lively neighborhood. The prices are a bit on the high side, but the food quality is decent.

25/07/2025: It was a cosy and relaxing atmosphere to have breakfast with great service and warm hosts/hostesses. I'll be there again tomorrow morning. They have several breakfast options to cost from and it's obvious that the food and service are good as the place was almost filled up shortly after I was served. I really loved it

26/07/2025: Mientras estábamos en Irlanda visitando a la familia en Carlow, nos aventuramos y encontramos esta pequeña joya. Absolutamente impresionante fayre irlandés tradicional. Porciones muy generosas. Personal muy agradable. Excelente relación calidad-precio. Recomiendo encarecidamente el tocino asado en salsa de perejil. ¡Nos vemos de nuevo!

20/08/2025: Food, service & setting were all top notch. For a group of 11, we were seated upstairs in our own room which was perfect. Our total bill came to just over 900e. Everyone was delighted with their food & the wine was tasty too. The downstairs seems to seat smaller groups but upstairs is perfect for a group of 10-12.

31/07/2025: Very nice cafe in a great location in Kinsale. The menu is good, plenty choices. The food was presented very well and the food was very flavoursome. I loved the Rustic Hash. They have a good choice of cakes and scones. Coffee was good. Staff were very pleasant and the service was good.

29/07/2025: Appalling service for the tapas night, even the bread and olives took forever to come out. We waited an hour and a half for my food to arrive. When it finally arrived wasn’t nice at all! ( Squid rings in batter). Kept apologising, saying how busy they were!

26/07/2025: Nice, cosy and lovely café in the centre of the city with a lot of delicious pastries, drinks and even Quiches. The service is very friendly and very fast! The price of the food is very reasonable!

18/07/2025: Top quality food in a relaxing and creative setting. Had the 'Mexicana' omelette with relish. As good as I've had anywhere. This gem is a credit to Tina and her colleagues. Highly recommended 👏

11/08/2025: Found very nice coffee shop with specialty coffee. I had my batch brew filter and it was amazing. Also they have some sweets, but I've found raw candies much better ;)
