The best restaurants

30/12/2025: Was ignored by staff when we went into their restaurant. Seated ourselves after being ignored after waiting for a few minutes for a table. Think everyone was local and got the impression we weren’t welcome by staff. Took a few minutes for someone to acknowledge us and bring a menu despite 3 staff members being there with a half empty restaurant. Once we finished food (19 euro for a burger with a soggy bun that was straight out of the packet and cold lettuce, raw onion and slice of tomato) we went to the bar to pay the bill. There was a bartender (dark curly hair with facial hair- he was the primary staff member that seemed to completely ignore us when we were just trying to give you some business) who was folding cutlery into napkins who we waited for him to acknowledge us but he didn’t so after an awkward minute of standing there we asked him could we pay the bill he said “I’ll be with you in a second”. He went to give the cutlery to a table and then walked off- his colleague came through by chance and took payment. Very strange atmosphere due to staff. Ate and left promptly.

18/09/2025: Love, love, love these stores, both on a personal level and also from working with them via our brand Scribble & Stone. Vanessa and Marcus have done amazing work bringing the most gorgeous curated collections to Dublin across homewares, childrens and lifestyle gifting. Go and visit the 3 Dublin stores and the rest of the Drury street area for a real taste of Dublin and an all around lovely experience. Indie retail is becoming scarcer and scarcer in Ireland and globally so we really need to support these gems that make a visit to a city special and that in turn support other indie, local brands too.

07/01/2026: Had a toasties and soup here and it was really nice and competitvly priced. The service was very good and there was a lovely atmosphere.

07/03/2026: This place is not to be missed. What lovely and wonderful staff! I almost asked the lady if she would adopt me, she was that sweet. 🤣The chicken wings were absolutely delicious, I almost ate my fingers along with them. I felt completely at ease and even sat there crocheting. I made a keychain for her and I hope she liked it! SEE YOU SOON ❤️🍀

07/03/2026: Had a meal here today. Waitress was lovely and food was quite nice. Unfortunately only the seats outside at the back are dog friendly but the staff sorted out some nice blankets to wrap up in. Would visit again. :-)

27/02/2026: Beautiful place. Very friendly staff. Excellent service. Food was delicious. Fillet of steak was outstanding. Lasagna was delicious. Dessert was bread and butter pudding with custard and ice cream. Reasonable price Highly recommend going to the Vintage

16/03/2026: Had the most amazing experience with the team at Liath. The food of course was delicious. What was especially satisfying was that the chef used a wide variety of ingredients, vegetables and we'll selected meats. It allowed us to be try new tastes and textures. Not to be outdone, the staff were exceptional, warm, friendly and very funny. The wine pairings also brought a new appreciation of both the food tastes and it's textures. Who would have known Hungarians make exceptional desert wine. From the moment we stepped into Liath we were appreciated and treated so well, tanks to eikisha dn Johnny for looking after us and for chef... Maestro 😎 Liath is an experience not to be missed, :)

16/02/2026: I really enjoyed our meal here, it's a cozy spot with tasty food. The bravas are awesome. Maybe a lack of options on dishes but the kitchen is small. All the dishes tasted lovely, one was on the small side for what we paid but very tasty. Staff were lovely. The wine which was recommended was really good as well. We will return.

22/11/2025: How good is this food? My daughter ordered prawn pad Thai noodles. Didn't eat it all. Took the rest home on a 1 hour journey. I stuck it in the microwave for 2 minutes and...... To die for. Absolutely gorgeous. Back on the bus for you girl. 😂

24/03/2026: Ok. I was skeptical and though this was going to be super corney. It was not. The food was good, the entertainment was amazing and the overall experience was so worth it.

15/08/2025: A great place to go if you want to try a full Irish breakfast. High-quality ingredients and perfectly cooked. A very pleasant terrace. You can go there with your eyes closed, you won't be disappointed.
