Presented with theatrical grace, it stood poised like a bride beneath a chuppah, a culinary ceremony in full swing. Each bite was rich, tender, and deeply expressive of the land, as though the surrounding hills had whispered their secrets directly into the dish. The asparagus risotto followed, glowing with freshness. It arrived adorned with a delicate bouquet of edible flowers, like spring had decided to dress up for dinner. The flavors were vibrant yet comforting, a perfect balance of earthiness and brightness, each forkful unfolding like a small celebration. Service throughout the evening was flawless. When we asked about arranging a taxi, the owner himself came over, introduced himself with effortless charm, and insisted on driving us. 02/05/2026: Fabulous Michelin star restaurant, personnel is amazing food is fantastic and the place, being so tiny makes it very cozy, winter or summer the view is amazing!

05/11/2025: Popped in for a drink, was warmly welcomed by Padraig shaking my hand and enquired as to the reason for visiting Belmullet. On explaining my circumstances he and several customers provided me with information regarding relatives past and present. The Guiness was perfect. Can't wait to return.

04/10/2025: loviest place ever. went there upon seeing all the reviews raving about how good this place is. and it’s safe to say it definitely met those standards. their spice bag is not those kind sprinkled with seasoning but instead it’s drenched in sauce. had a nice salty & sweet & spicy taste to it and you can definitely taste how it was made to order. to top it off, when we requested to change the chicken tenders to popcorn chicken after we saw everyone raving about it, the ladies at janet’s gave us half a portion of the popcorn chicken on the house. thank you janet’s for making our night and we look forward to coming back!

22/12/2025: Absolutely fantastic food had the turkey Christmas special sandwich and gravy. I can honestly say its one the best things I have ever eaten and the service was fabulous aswell. I would recommend wholeheartedly.

28/12/2025: I had a muffin and a latte while waiting for my flight, the muffin was lovely nothing to complain and about and the coffee was really good I was quite impressed. I was served by Charlotte very pleasant and chatty, really nice environment. Will be back again 👍🏻

28/12/2025: I grabbed a coffee at 6 a.m. and the guy working there was super friendly, even at that hour. He suggested some flavors to add to my coffee. I picked hazelnut and it was amazing. Thanks a lot!

03/10/2025: Came here for a little self care day and to be greeted by a lovely Indian man with beautiful manner curry was lovely chicken was so fresh and just eczactly how I like it see you next time

03/10/2025: Staff- Excellent Food- Samosas blew the jocks off me do but tasty 🥵🥵 Butter Chicken -Spicy and the meat is cheap , also very spicy 🥵💩 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

24/03/2026: can i give this place a 10/5... a total MUST when visiting Limerick! The oldest pub here, with the best atmosphere and Mike is the absolute very best! He truly knows how to pour a Guinness....no really there is an art to it, and he has mastered it!

24/04/2026: Restaurant only...excellent, really glad we found it. The staff were lovely and found us a table, we were lucky because it was busy. Carlingford is beautiful, and it was a great welcome on our first day. I thoroughly enjoyed the carbonnara and my husband loved the prawns. Portions were plentiful!

12/04/2026: Joined friends for food yesterday. Had the Ultimate Meal Deal (2 fillet steak on the stone, 2 salads, 2 asides, and bottle of wine, cheesecake to share €85. Steak was delicious. Food just amazing. Great staff. Definitely will return
