08/12/2025: This coffee shop is an absolute gem! The coffee is delicious—rich, aromatic, and perfectly prepared. The homemade cakes are out of this world, truly irresistible. The owner is wonderful: friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. And the view of the city is just amazing, creating the perfect atmosphere to relax and enjoy the moment. Highly recommend!

19/03/2026: We stopped into The Blueberry Room recently and had such a lovely experience. The café has a bright, calming atmosphere, and the seating is genuinely lovely — comfortable, well laid out, and perfect for settling in. The whole place has a great vibe, relaxed but lively enough to feel welcoming. We ordered a chicken goujons wrap, a quiche, a latte, and a cappuccino. Everything was fresh, tasty, and well-presented. The wrap was packed with flavour, the quiche had that proper homemade feel, and both coffees were smooth and really well made. They also have a great variety of pastries, all looking fresh and tempting — definitely something I’d come back to try. One thing to note: when the sun is shining, there can be a bit of a wait because it’s such a popular spot. Honestly, the only tricky part is finding a parking space nearby — once you’re inside, it’s well worth it. The staff were friendly, attentive, and warm throughout, even though the café was busy. It’s the kind of service that makes you want to return. If you’re in Donegal Town and looking for a cosy spot with good food, great coffee, and a lovely atmosphere, The Blueberry Room is absolutely worth a visit. We’ll definitely be back.

14/02/2026: An incredible find in Donegal town. The staff are unbelievably attentive and the decoration is just as unique as the food. Scones and pies are my suggestion.

30/01/2026: Such a fab meal - food and service was 10/10. Anna was our waitress and was lovely, other staff were very nice and brought out candles for my brothers birthday - would definitely recommend and can’t wait to go back.

26/11/2025: I had the breakfast bap here. Was fantastic, as was the coffee and service. A real gem of a place, and clearly very well run. We arrived at Kilkee in very unfortunate circumstances, and were afforded a private space by the owners, who supported us during an incredibly difficult time. Kindness knows no bounds, and we are forever grateful for the support they showed us.

19/11/2025: I can’t recommend this place enough, looking great food and an even better view ? Diamond rocks is the place for you. Why pay for the cliffs of Moher when you can enjoy the diamond rocks sipping a freshly squeezed orange juice from the comfort of this stunning cafe.

12/12/2025: I had a really gorgeous seasonal sandwich here today on freshly-made focaccia inside the very beautiful Powerscourt Centre. It’s always a good bet for a lovely lunch or stop for coffee and cake. Highly recommend!

15/02/2026: Had lunch there today. I haven't been for some time. Had seatrout with veg risotto which came with vegetables and potatoes. It was so good and such good value for €19.95. Was offered bread as soon as we sat down (free). Service was exemplary. Will not leave it as long again to visit.

15/03/2026: Really enjoyed our birthday lunch last weekend. The turkey crown with stuffing home made gravy fresh veg and potatoes were delicious. Followed by the fresh cream roulade and an americano. Lots of beautiful flowers to choose from and a world of choice in garden furniture and home furnishings

18/09/2025: Lately they've downgraded in terms of customer experience. This has been my local since they open. Staff was always really sound and would make classic cocktails outside the menu or accommodate certain details, last two times I went there, they were rude and seemed like they were rushing everything and couldn't be bothered even when it wasnt a busy evening. Would hate to see them going down that path.

04/11/2025: Lovely Coffee House and Cafe, the staff were extremely friendly.Food was excellent, great breakfast and breakfast bap was the best I’ve ever had, would definitely go back!

02/03/2026: We use to go to this place with pleasure until yesterday 🫣 service was terrible, wrong organization, first the girl show us the table, than the manager came to tell us that’s not the table for us, he checked the computer and he showed us the same table ( the place was more than half empty) I forgot to mention we’re with a baby 🫣 No one came to take our order for more than 15 minutes 🫣 Food was great like usual, they have lovely kitchen with bad stuff in front 🫣 At the end we waited to pay again for a good bit 🫣

22/01/2026: Disappointing experience. The server was friendly but sadly didn’t know how to make my bowl. Was constantly referencing a guide and then when I went to eat the food I saw the portion was nowhere near what it should be. Disappointing as I used to always like Chopped.
