04/08/2025: Een hartelijke ontvangst in een gezellig en intiem Italiaans restaurant. Het eten was heerlijk! Ook voldoende vega opties.

03/08/2025: I had great expectations about going to gigi the staff where so amazing and friendly the place was buzzing with great clientèle we both ordered pasta dishes which was a mistake mine was far to creamy and my wife's was far to hot for a pasta dish. But both mistakes where made by us.but unfortunately I won't return as the dishes we did order where below par for a Saturday evening meal out with my wife.

16/08/2025: Absolutely one of the best pizzas I’ve had in the Galway area! Fresh ingredients and that special touch make their pizza's unforgettable. Lovely atmosphere, super friendly staff, and right in the heart of Athenry with convenient parking nearby. Can’t recommend it enough! Important: make a reservation before you go. First time I tried without one they were fully booked.

13/08/2025: Amazing food, really tasty nachos and pizza! They also offer gluten free pizza which is great, this way my daughter was delighted to enjoy a pizza too. Really friendly and warm place. It's a great atmosphere. Can highly recommend this place.

15/07/2025: Visited this place three years back and then couple of weeks ago. In both occasions I was met with friendly staff, good atmosphere and great food. Definitely recommend.

15/07/2025: We really loved the beer garden on a sunny afternoon and they had the All Ireland football semi final on the big screen. Food looked amazing but we weren't hungry. Loads of seating inside as well. They had a nice kids menu too and the staff were lovely

06/08/2025: Hidden gem! The food is local and outstanding! The cheese plate starter has a great assortment of local cheeses paired really well with jelly and honey. The steak and lamb entrees were top notch! The cheesy bread, spuds and cabbage were delicious accompaniments. The chocolate tort at the end with a heavy cream and cherries was so good. Only issue was the table that wobbled. Highly recommend this restaurant!

09/08/2025: A great choice for a meal with Italian flavors! Fast and very friendly service. A small focaccia was offered as an appetizer, Arrancini as a starter and panzerotti as a main course for me, and meat dishes for the others. We all enjoyed ourselves. We would definitely come back!

20/07/2025: I’ve always wanted to stop here but I found it stressful and unpleasant unfortunately. The service was so unfriendly - I stood for ages unacknowledged at the till while they did other things. Unhelpful staff who (it felt) were judging if you fitted the pretentious clique. Maybe this is the place for you if you are part of the Organic elite but not for regular people.

27/06/2025: So happy I found a shop that delivers good organic products in Ireland. After 4 orders, I've never been disappointed. Everything is always carefully packed, no damage to the products from Bantry to Dublin and nothing is ever missing. Thank youuuu.

25/07/2025: We recently hosted a surprise baby shower for our friend in old granary. We had the pleasure of dealing with JP who was fantastic in the lead up and on the day. A special thank you to molly who looked after us so well - you are amazing. Thanks again we all had a great time. They also did the cake for us which was the nicest cake I’ve ever had! A1 food & service. I would recommend the old granary to friends looking to host an event ❤️

27/07/2025: The night before, a Japanese waiter working at a nearby Asian restaurant recommended this restaurant as a place to have breakfast. I dropped by without having breakfast at the hotel, and when I saw the mountain of delicious-looking scones, I was reminded of my time living in London, so I had scones for breakfast. I ordered a blueberry one and a raspberry one for my wife, along with a cafe au lait. I took a bite of a fairly large scone (not British style) and said, "This might be the best scone I've ever eaten in my life." The outside was crispy and the inside was fluffy, and there was none of the heavy flour taste that you sometimes get with British style scones. I was really surprised and delighted. I hadn't eaten a scone for years, or even decades, so maybe they've developed into this kind of scone in the UK recently, but at least my image of a scone has changed dramatically. The cafe au lait and the strength of the coffee were just right for me. We liked it so much that we went back for lunch the next day. My wife ordered the scones that she loved so much, and I ordered the special beef hamburger because I was hungry. The beef hamburger was very filling (two hamburger steaks stacked on top of each other) and tasted great, so we were very satisfied. There were other delicious dishes on the menu, such as beef stew. I highly recommend it. It's not too expensive either. However, the cafe au lait (flat white) that we ordered with the hamburger on the second day was less full-bodied (coffee strength) than the first day, which was disappointing. The woman who made the coffee was different from the day before, so it might depend on the person. If you want strong coffee, it's better to make sure you ask for strong coffee when ordering. PS In fact, we went back for breakfast the day after writing this review, on our last day in Dublin. My wife and I each had delicious scones and cafe latte for breakfast. When I ordered the cafe latte I asked for it to be strong, and the coffee was as delicious as I expected. Thank you, Catherine. I ended up going there every day during my stay in Dublin. This shop also had delicious menu items such as beef stew made with Guinness and club sandwiches. Trinity College is nearby, so it's the perfect place to stop by after a tour.

03/08/2025: Great craft brewery bar taproom. Beers were excellent, staff very friendly and atmosphere with both the music and patrons very friendly and relaxed. Bonus points for being dog friendly, and letting us bring in takeaway food from the market next door. Highly recommended.

20/08/2025: As a couple, we dined at this restaurant and can't recommend it enough! Everything was great, from the welcome, to the service, to the food. During our trip around Ireland and the UK, it was one of the best (if not the best) places we had the opportunity to dine. Georges was fantastic; his friendliness and warmth will only encourage you to come back again and again. The dishes were fresh, tasty, and well-served. Thank you again!
