10/04/2026: I had lunch here, would highly reccomend, I had the club sandwich which comes with chips, the portion size is really generous the sandwich itself was gorgeous, the paprika chips are lovely. Staff are very attentive and friendly. V Good all round

22/04/2026: We found it a little disappointing. The two servers didn’t speak English they had to always go and ask someone else to answer our questions which were plenty as the menu was not self explanatory. It was so so loud we had to shout to each other to hear what we were saying as so many other parties of people. The meals were good but the stew that one of us had was disappointing, and didn’t finish it. We wouldn’t go back here it wasn’t a pleasant experience more like a pub atmosphere after a rugby match

18/04/2026: I really liked the chicken pot pie, however most of the other food was fairly plain, which wasn't very good for the price (~30€ for main course + ~15€ appetizer -- note that either an appetizer or a side is a required purchase along with the main course). Additionally the portion sizes didn't make much sense as you can see there is a kidney pudding which was advertised and priced as a main course despite being the size of the appetizers, especially when the pot pie was so much larger (though note its a pot pie for two people). On the other hand the atmosphere was nice and the service was good.

29/03/2026: Brilliant garden centre with huge selection at a great price. If you check online before you visit you can find some great buys they don't put on display for everyone to find.

24/03/2026: Had a great visit! They're not the cheapest, but make up for it in quality. The cafe is really good, lots of home made deliciousness!

17/09/2025: Would be a regular visitor to bodega and always thought of it as a special occasion style restaurant. Went back today to celebrate an anniversary and from the moment we walked in, it was completely off. We were left waiting at the front in what looked like an empty restaurant. Wasn’t asked for our names and brought to a table. I specifically mentioned in the booking it was an anniversary but there was no mention of this throughout the experience. Food, which I might add has always been amazing was unfortunately extremely poor. Patatas bravas were an extra €6 and was once a full bowl of potato’s with chorizo and cheese etc however now they are plain? And only maybe 10 or 11 small cubes of potatoes. The rest of the food came out luke warm and some extremely greasy. The tenders came out with barely any sauce and felt like they’ve been sitting under a hot lamp for a while. The manager mentioned the menu was new and if I’m extremely honest, a step down. I must mention the manager himself was and always has been a pleasure to dine with, however he worked alone. No other staff. This might have a knock on affect with the dining experience and something they should really look at as there was already 6 tables of 2-4 people each. Hope someone from bodega reads this and can implement some changes to avoid another business suffering in clonmel, as I’ve always said this is or was a great place to dine.

10/10/2025: A simple restaurant with delicious Italian food. In a place where not everything is open on weekends, they were kind enough to adjust the tables so the group wouldn't be separated.

31/12/2025: My husband and I were looking for a spot to host loved ones the day after our wedding. As Americans relatively unfamiliar to the best local spots in Dingle, our wedding planner swiftly recommended Bob Griffin’s. We were floored by fact that there was no up front cost required to reserve an area for our group. (Though we were happy to purchase our fair share of beverages from the bar upon arrival.) Bob Griffin’s was exactly where we wanted to be after an eventful wedding day: a cozy, welcoming, unpretentious bar to hang out and reminisce. We know where we’ll be for another pint the next time we’re in Dingle!

17/04/2026: I am in Dublin for a conference at Trinity College, and as part of the experience they organized a guided tour at the Irish Whiskey Museum. It was truly amazing! I really enjoyed it. Our guide, Andrew, was fantastic, very funny and entertaining, he made the whole tour even more engaging. I would definitely recommend this experience to everyone!

14/04/2026: We came here for the gluten free crust. I wouldn’t buy it again. It was okay, same with the regular pizza according to my husband. They have a great kids deal though and ample seating. I think if they would add more toppings they could have a great regular crust. Sadly the gluten free crust was not very good and cost 2.5 more than regular. Staff were slow but friendly. Good size pizza.

30/03/2026: Rain or shine, this place is def worth a visit. People who work there are super friendly. Has some random grocery items, along with pottery from a local that day. I got a small piece made by her, so cute! Went on a Sunday for a coffee and scones, both were very good. Sat on a cozy couch near a wood burning stove on a cold and rainy day. Did some writing and relaxed. A lovely place, be sure to stop if in the Glendalough area.
