23/09/2026: Had the Breakfast Tower for Two at Anvil Restaurant and honestly, it was amazing! 😍 Everything was fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. There was a great variety, and the portion was perfect for two people. We really enjoyed every bite and the whole breakfast experience was lovely. Definitely worth trying, and I’ll happily come back again! ❤️

21/09/2026: Excellent service-thanks Evita-goats cheese tart excellent ( though a little beetroot added would have been nice). I had the curry which had a nice kick. Personally I would have preferred a bit more rice and less chips though the chips were lovely. The only thing was the poppadom wasn’t very fresh and was like cardboard. They changed it but no different. Small issue. Lovely atmosphere. Thanks again

29/08/2026: This is just about the "Donner kebab" their chicken is good however what should be "Lamb" is actually Beef ! They tell me it has been that way for at least a year now. Very disappointed. Hence the 3*, if it was Lamb I'd have given 5*

27/08/2026: We went there last night for a late meal after 9pm. The restaurant was quiet but a very nice atmosphere. The waitress was extremely pleasant and helpful. We had the meal deal for 2 and it was extremely well priced. The two curry’s were absolutely divine. A special thanks to Sacchi who made our visit even more enjoyable. He was so pleasant and interactive with our child, he even gave her a few chips and nuggets. Overall we had a gorgeous meal and were delighted.

31/08/2026: Stopped by for a quick bite before our tour of the Jameson distillery and found some of the best, if not the best, Seafood Chowder I've ever eaten. It was that good. And being a soup person, I had to have a cup of their soup de jour which was also very good.

01/09/2026: Wow. What a vibey space with lovely staff. I don't know how else to say it - the pour-over I had was one of the best I've ever had. I think it easily shamed the $25 pourover I had at (each) Tanat in Paris. 😅 If you like coffee, and an extra smile to start your day, this is an easy choice.

14/09/2026: This place is to die for, you must go. Service, vibe and food all 11/10. I got the raspberry scone with clotted butter and jam and a green tea. Great spot!!

12/09/2026: This place made my day! Not that it was bad to begin with but it was totally enhanced by going to the Blueberry Tea room! The vegetable soup and club sandwich were so comforting on a rainy Irish afternoon. Plus all of the staff were attentive to everyone. They were all busting their asses but did it with joy. If you are in Donegal go there! If there is a line wait in it. It is worth it!!

05/08/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful experience at Zen Thal. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Every dish was full of flavor, and you can really tell they care about quality. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. Highly recommended if you’re looking for great food and outstanding customer service. We’ll definitely be coming back!

02/08/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An absolutely outstanding meal at Zen Thai in Cheddar. The food was exceptional from start to finish, and the service was just as impressive. Owned and run by Spencer and Pear, along with their amazing, attentive team, this is the kind of place where you feel genuinely looked after from the moment you walk in. We started with the sharing platter, which was the perfect introduction and packed with incredible flavours. The Massaman curry was simply out of this world, and the Beef Penang was to die for—rich, perfectly balanced, and cooked to perfection. Every dish tasted beautifully authentic. To finish, we had the Thai-style profiterole with vanilla custard, and it was absolutely outstanding—the perfect end to an unforgettable meal. Part of me wants to gatekeep this place because it's that good, but it's simply too special not to share. If you're anywhere near Cheddar, do yourself a favour and book a table. We'll definitely be back!

04/09/2026: Great ambiance and exceptional food. The ribeye was really tender and flavourful. I do prefer just a grilled steak, however the sauce that is served with it was very good. The place was comfortable and had a good vibe for a nice night out for dinner.

27/07/2026: Surprisingly great hotel right in the middle of town. First off, it's huge - much bigger and more interestingly laid out than you'd first think, with plush furnishings and decor in the bar, restaurant and common areas. Rooms were massive and well equipped, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. Overall, a very pleasant stay with free underground parking and a lovely welcome from the staff

27/06/2026: The Bistro at Lawlors of Naas served us the worst food ever tonight. Asked for Chips without salt they came out pickled. Beef dish was disgusting beef tasted weird, big lump of cabbage and all served in a puddle of bisto. Left our complaint with duty manager who also couldn't care less as he was just trying to get through the night with undertrained, understaffed, servers. Will never return here again

26/08/2026: The curry laksa noodles were amazing; their fresh noodles made the taste completely different from other shops. The little shop was spotless, and their milk tea even used fresh milk – it tasted fantastic! It's located diagonally opposite Penneys Shop in Dunlaoghaire, super easy to find.

14/08/2026: The server is an absolute legend and the food is also great and very well priced. 100% recommend
