The best restaurants

11/11/2025: A lovely place located in Delgany. Parking facilities in adjoining carpark. A very small amount of parking on road if available. Accommodation available here but can't comment on that. Had a lovely meal. Really good selection. A lovely atmosphere and an open fire. The Staff were very nice and attentive. Service very good. We were informed there was going to be music but sadly couldn't avail of it but will be back. A good location. Close to a bus route. Well worth a visit.

21/06/2025: We had breakfast there last Saturday and had super food and excellent coffee. The waitress serving us was superb and really looked after us. Superb cafe

11/06/2025: I love this small cafe and used to come for years and always bring some friend/family to enjoy a quiet time, the staff are absolutely kind, the atmosphere is great as the music too, and of course a lovely coffee, a slightly sweet caramel latte/cappuccino at the perfect taste (listen your customers preferences is a key of success, I’d say you’re rocking it). The below photo is from a quite while ago, as today I was so hungry and forgot to take a pic of my sausage roll which was great + caramel cappuccino.

08/12/2025: The ambience and food here were great, especially for the price. That being said, you can tell the staff is pretending to be something they’re not. You can tell they are attempting to create an exclusive or elitist environment but are not trained in what that experience looks like. Nothing some additional training can’t fix.

07/12/2025: Food and setting are amazing! Our waiter Anderson made our engagement meal here a lovely experience, he was calm, funny and thoughtful throughout the meal. I’d go here again for bread and butter (which was also very nice here…), as long as he was serving us! The Belgian sommelier was also a great character! Food will always be good here, but the people make it 100x better.

24/11/2025: We just held my son's 30th birthday party in one of the function rooms here. Beautiful room, excellent bar service, very helpful staff. Highly recommend for group gatherings. 70 people in attendance and all raving about the venue! Thanks to Trish and staff.

24/11/2025: There today for lunch. Sat waiting for someone to come over but 15 mins later no sign so went over and asked for menus. Thought this would be a prompt to have an order taken but that was another 15 mins. Place was quiet at that point so wasn't a busy issue. Then the order was wrong when I clearly asked for something to be excluded. Brutal. Plus the portions were tiny. Just as well I'm on a diet

22/10/2025: Location was wonderful. the staff was very kind and tried to be as helpful as possible… Rooms were very outdated, extremely dusty/musty, beds very uncomfortable, Wi-Fi didn’t work half the time & AC was broken with inability to be fixed. The room also smelled terribly of a nursing home which did not dissipate at all with our windows open for two days.

21/10/2025: Such a great spot! I was visiting Galway for a few days with my family, and we could not have picked a better location. All the staff were so kind. Henrique at reception in particular was incredibly helpful and very fun to converse with.

24/10/2025: Can't resist stopping off here for a coffee when I'm passing through, what a hidden little gem. The taste is in a word 'perfect' (every time). The staff are cheerful and attentive, as soon as you walk in its unmistakable and adds a real personal element. A made to order cappuccino costs €3.50 which I would consider underpriced for what your getting "but shhhhh, don't tell anyone". You'll notice them take a bit more care and time than some of the larger chains and you can definitely taste the difference in your drink. If you have your own coffee machine you can buy a bag of coffee and I can honestly say its the nicest coffee I've found so far and I've tried a lot, branded as 'SUNDAY' it's a medium roasted Aribica/Robusta washed blend and a 1kg bag costs €30 and considering the best tasting supermarket coffee I could fund was Lavazza @ €25 it was well worth the extra €5 but a professional barista will always win when it comes to a taste test. Try it once and prove me wrong, I DARE YA!

29/10/2025: I had such a great experience at Umai in Dundrum! The salmon poke bowl was super fresh and delicious, but what really stood out was the service — the girl who helped me (kinata) was so kind and friendly. I asked for a special request and she handled it with such a lovely attitude. It really made my day! Highly recommend this place — amazing food and even better people 💚

24/10/2025: Finally! A sushi restaurant in Dublin that know what they’re doing! They also changed my order when I mistakenly ordered raw tuna. So helpful and friendly.

07/07/2025: This place is extremely recommended by our beer blog team. Great selection of local and imported beer – both on taps and in the fridges. Cozy atmosphere, nice music. And the bartender Carlos is the best man we’ve met in the city ❤️ Do not hesitate to check this gem.

29/07/2025: We stopped for lunch on our way to Dingle. A lovely area in the back to accommodate our dog. We can recommend the soup and bread
