06/04/2025: We got a Cod Dinner, burger and curry fries. It was amazing. They are located off the beaten path, but worth the trip.amazing food and very friendly service. We cannot recommend enough!

30/03/2025: Am a regular customer and the food is normally gorgeous but unfortunately in our last two orders the burgers were freezing! Would normally never make a complaint but is such a shame as it’s one of our favourite takeaways - but this has put me off.

16/04/2025: Can’t beat this restaurant in the heart of Rathgar for excellent food, wine and very engaging and sociable staff. Been going here since they opened many years back and never disappointed. Wonderful spot which even if booked out always seem to find us a seat at the bar. Highly recommended.

06/04/2025: This was our first ever trip to Ireland, and what an unforgettable experience it has been - made even more special by our visit to The Thatched Pub & Restaurant. We were blown away by the warm hospitality, the incredible food (we had the roast lamb and turkey – absolutely delicious! Almost best had ever), and the cosy, authentic Irish atmosphere. The portions were generous 😃 just the way we like it 😋 and each bite tasted homemade, hearty, and full of flavour. But what truly touched our hearts was the people. From the moment we arrived in Ireland, we’ve been deeply impressed by the honesty, decency, and kindness of the Irish people 🇮🇪 and that spirit is alive and well at The Thatched. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel like part of the local community. This place is not just a restaurant ⭐️ it’s a little slice of Irish soul. Highly recommended to anyone looking for great food and even greater people. Go raibh maith agat! Sláinte!

01/04/2025: We were looking for a typical Irish breakfast restaurant in Skerries, but ended up in ‘goat in the boat’. It is beautifully situated at the very tip of the harbour and has a fancy appearance. We enjoyed excellent pastries including the filled pistachio croissant. The breakfast sandwich was also delicious. Of course it is more expensive than an average Irish breakfast. The perfect place if you are looking for a hip and refined simple breakfast.

12/04/2025: Had dinner here. The service was very quick. We weren't waiting long for our food, but carbonara was not nice. It tasted like sauce from a shops own brand sauce. Not great for carbonara that costs €20! My son had the steak sandwich, he said it was very nice. The waiter was nice and polite, but the waitress with the black hair really does not like her job and doesn't try to hide it.

25/04/2025: My wife and I came in for breakfast 3/6 days in Dublin as it is just around the corner of our hotel. The pastries and breads are great here! Their coffee is pretty good as well, but unfortunately this morning (4/25/2025), they were having some electrical issues, so not coffee was available. The employees were very apologetic about not having coffee available. Bread 41 has a cool coffee shop vibe and we will miss coming in for breakfast in the morning as this is our last visit before flying home.

12/04/2025: We had lunch here as soon as we landed with a typical Irish breakfast. Very generous dish, divided in two. Very characteristic place, the only flaw is that the seats are a little cramped.

29/03/2025: Just walked nine as a family of four and we were accommodated with a cosy table immediately. Food was excellent. Very tasty and great portion and the service was friendly and super efficient. We will definitely be back soon.

06/04/2025: We dined in. Felt that the waitresses were really racist, food took over an hour to arrive and waitresses ignored us the whole time. We were the only people of colour and the only ones being ignored and the only people whos food came an hour later when other people sat down after us and got served before us and left. Then another group of people of colour showed up, they were seated next to us and given the same treatment . But none of the 'white' or irish customers were given that treatment. better yet, they were given smiles and spoken to in a curteous manner and taken care of. Ridiculous racist staff. I bet the managers are even more racist thats why the staff are the way they are.

28/03/2025: We were there on a blustery, drizzly afternoon in want of samies and salad - Joe’s hit the mark and then some. We had the BLT with chips, the salad (with a lime chili sauce from another item on the side) and the chicken burger - everything was grand! Place had a great vibe with all the locals and surfers round. There were a few open tables when we got there and they were full up when we left. The servers were lovely!

08/04/2025: It's a great place for lunch & now early evening

13/02/2025: We were in Shepperton on a whim as my sister and I grew up there. On walking up the High Street we decided to visit Mango Cafe. The vegetable Thai Spring Rolls were so delicious and the Chicken Pad Thai was absolutely fabulous. The service was excellent too. I highly recommend this place for a delicious lunch.
