27/07/2025: Fabulous hotel..5 star treatment from the start..friendly and welcoming at reception..beautifully decorated rooms..amazing food especially in the Gulfstream restaurant and the views and beaches on the hotel doorstep simply are stunning. Will definitely be returning 😊

11/07/2025: Service was five star, food was also delicious. My husband had the burger loved it. I had curry chips and fries and amazing Caesar salad. Wish I would’ve taken pictures. Highly recommend also for a good pint!🍀🍻

11/07/2025: Myself and my Husband enjoyed a lovely meal here this evening. The welcome was so friendly and professional. All the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful in ordering. We had ribs and chicken wings to start both fabulous. While I enjoyed a chicken dish my husband had the cod dish of the day both excellent and we finished by sharing a cheesecake which again was lovely. All in all a most enjoyable experience. It was our first time but we certainly will be back.

11/07/2025: We visited for dinner one Sunday recently because gluten free options are available. The food was very good and the waitress was knowledgeable about gluten free options. The restaurant is in a nice location and has a nice vibe. It's popular with families, so early Sunday evening isn't the time to eat there if you want a quiet meal, but otherwise, I'd recommend. It is nice to find restaurants that can accommodate diners with gluten free requirements.

22/08/2025: I ordered a ham and mushroom pizza. You really need to add the ham all over it, I had one slice with barely any ham

16/07/2025: Neil deserves a raise and promotion. Seriously give this guy employee of the month. He was knowledgeable and tentative. He answered all crazy beer questions I had and kept conversation flowing while serving.

14/07/2025: My husband and I visited at 9:30 on a Sunday morning. I would recommend the early slots because as we were leaving there were a lot of people. It is a self guided tour. There are 7 levels. The 6th level is for staff only. Each level is attainable by escalators or elevator. You learn about the ingredients, how Guinness is made, have a tasting, learn about their advertising, can have bottle with your face and name printed on it, and the 7th level is a bar where you get a pint with your ticket and can enjoy a bird's eye view of Dublin. It's amazing! There are bathrooms on every level. As you tour there is visual and auditory entertainment! It was really amazing! I highly recommend to come during your visit to Dublin. There is also a cafe if you want to enjoy a meal during your stay.

26/07/2025: I ordered a steak sandwich as I was pretty hungry. I can honestly say that it was the worst steak sandwich that I have ever had in my life. I wanted to send it back after the first bite. This was not proper steak more like stewing meat. My wife begged me not to make a scene. I don’t believe this meal was even cooked by a proper chef. I’m not a chef and I can cook chips. If they look under done I will put them back in the fryer for another minute. These chips were under done look at the photo! Look at the state of the onion ring! The ciabatta bread was not even toasted. Look at the lump of meat I couldn’t chew! The guy in the kitchen wearing a Chef outfit really needs to reassess his career choice. You can’t even cook chips and the owner of the Brandywell is happy to employ you!!! Absolute disgraceful. Cox’s Steakhouse is hard to beat. Maybe ask for a job there to learn the trade.

21/07/2025: Just back from a fabulous weekend celebrating a 60th with family at the Brandywell. We couldn't have asked for more from Gerry and his staff and a big mention to Paul his super Barman. From casual bar food on the Friday to a sit down meal for 17 in the restaurant on Saturday evening. The accommodation and food was excellent. I'll definitely be back.

07/07/2025: This place is extremely recommended by our beer blog team. Great selection of local and imported beer – both on taps and in the fridges. Cozy atmosphere, nice music. And the bartender Carlos is the best man we’ve met in the city ❤️ Do not hesitate to check this gem.

31/05/2025: Superb little coffee place. The staff is universally sweet, the atmosphere is super friendly. Our cappuccinos (regular and oat) were perfect, and the pastries - to die for. Special mention for pistachio-berry double baked croissant, a unique remedy for a morning after (too many) Guinness.

06/07/2025: Very yummy I got the szechuan chicken rice bowl in the very spicy version. It was actually quite spicy but it was really good with hints of sweetness.

05/07/2025: The staff were very friendly, but unfortunately, we ended up waiting quite a while for our gyoza and fried chicken. When the dishes finally arrived, we were a bit disappointed. The gyoza tasted like it had been frozen and reheated—possibly in a microwave and then a pan heated for the “pan burn effect”. It didn’t seem homemade, with a mushy filling and a tough, overly firm exterior. The fried chicken was small but decent—likely helped by the generous breading and seasoning. Maybe my expectations are high, but for the price, I had hoped for something fresher, homemade and more flavorful. I often make these dishes at home, and they usually turn out better, so I expected more from a restaurant that specializes in them. I just wanted to share this experience honestly.

07/08/2025: The steps were so steep and narrow it was impossible to carry our suit cases up. Had to down load to back pack. Thankfully we had those. Room key was the old skeleton that anyone could get in. The restaurant service was the worst could not get orders taken. Just plan disappointed.
