17/09/2026: We had such a fantastic experience. The staff helped me plan an amazing surprise menu, and we were seated in the Snug area, which was absolutely brilliant. It felt really private and made the whole occasion even more special. The food was exceptional and the service was excellent throughout. I had been emailing the manager, Ivan, beforehand to organise everything, and nothing was ever too much trouble. He and the team were incredibly helpful from start to finish. Thank you so much to everyone involved. We will definitely be back. 10/10!

20/09/2026: I attended a staff night out here and it was a terrible experience. I was slightly late arriving so everyone had already ordered food. I arrived and no staff came to check on the table or even came to that side of the restaurant. After almost an hour I was very thirsty so I decided to go find a member of staff to order something. When I approached the staff area and explained that I was a late comer and wanted to order something, the waitress stood there with her mouth open looking me up and down and saying nothing for about 30 seconds before getting annoyed and agreeing to send someone over. Terrible service, the staff were extremely rude and felt oddly judgemental. I couldn't tell you how the food is, I never got to eat because apparently at that stage I was too late to order food.

16/09/2026: We rang and had no problem getting a reservation and the man on the phone was very helpful. We arrived and they were extremely busy but the atmosphere was unflustered and calm. The service from our waitress Catriona was outstanding and added to the total enjoyment of the evening. The recommendations for food, wine and cocktails were brilliant and the quality, presentation and flavours of the food were amazing. Service was timely and staff were extremely attentive and took everything in their stride with a smile. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a special evening, good quality food and brilliant service in a relaxed environment. Catriona is an asset to the restaurant.

30/08/2026: It was overall good experience. Their Guinness was pretty neat but we loooved their pizza! The music was a bit to loud, so it was sometimes hard to hear my friend but other then that.. everything was great!

30/08/2026: Ranked by many reviews as the best pizza in Ireland, it is indeed a cuisine of very high quality in the enchanting setting of Powerscourt Townhouse.

15/04/2026: Excellent stay last weekend with my baby as part of a hen party. Cannot thank the staff enough, I found myself staying on my own with my baby due to the fuel protests. The ladies on reception were so welcoming and helped with my luggage. The restaurant delivered my meal to the room, it was lovely. The hotel is great and the staff definitely made my stay enjoyable and relaxing.

08/04/2026: Good hotel located in the centre of kilkenny. Room was nice, clean and big, and despite it overlooking the main street it was quiet. Slightly odd setup that the quickest way to the hotel room was to leave the building and walk across the car park, but there was an option to walk through the hotel also. Bar was good, just went there for a drink, not food. Breakfast is self service and a good choice of hot and cold food.

07/07/2026: Food stops at 8.30 pm so made it and was glad , good choice , lovely food , well taken care of, everyone was happy . Will go again

28/06/2026: I had just poped in looking for a bit of linch, and from the moment I arrivedcto the moment I left, the staff couldnt have been nicer. Its a lovely place. The menu is varied and suits mosts tastes, albiet, I would have liked a vegitarian main. The food I got was delicious and I noted the generous portion size. All the staff were attentive, good natured and extreemly professional. Im looking forward to returning.

31/07/2026: Had a great few hours here trying all kinds of Irish whiskeys we had never heard of. Adam and Lee were both delightful bartenders. Great recommendations and also honest un-recommendations. We will be back!

27/08/2026: Arrived here without a booking at 8.00pm. We got seated immediately and had a very nice meal. Both Short Ribs and Red Curry are highly recommended. Maybe next time we will try the meal deal for 2 9oz steak dinner with bottle of wine for €75. We were told by the manager that a lot of customers bring the bottle away with them so they don't drink and drive.

10/08/2026: Great food options and the meals we had were flavourful, fresh and generous portions. The restaurant's decor and different seating areas are nicely decorated and can see it being used for different events. Staff were attentive, and efficient. Great experience overall.

12/08/2026: Why do they not accept US credit cards? They work everywhere else in Ireland. I have tried ordering a few times and have had to quit (or have my sister pay 😉). Losing business for no good reason.

07/08/2026: My wife and I had a delicious evening meal in San Sab drumcondra. We were very impressed with the food and the service. We were looked after extremely well by Nathalia and Katie .

24/07/2026: My family and me went to Sherpa for the diner. We weren’t expecting anything but we were really surprised, the food was really nice and the portion were big. We were served by a Ukrainian lady, who was so nice and professional. We really appreciated our food there, I recommend this place.

14/09/2026: A warm and welcoming place to visit and dine in with friends and family. The staff were very kind and made accomodations for our family after we called ahead. The hake and steak were both brilliant. The restaurant had a generous wine listing as well. The entire place was filled with laughter while we were there.
