28/05/2026: On Thursday, 28 May at approximately 3:10 PM, three colleagues and I — professionals from nearby offices — visited The Art of Coffee. We are from different countries, but Russian is the common language we can speak. All of us made our orders in English and at no point were we loud, disruptive, or discussing politics. We were speaking Russian in the queue, a young female barista with brown hair abruptly asked us to stop speaking Russian inside the café. When I asked why the language was a problem, she referenced the war in Ukraine and personal family loss. While one can sympathise with personal tragedy, it does not justify hostility toward peaceful customers because of the language they speak. The situation escalated when I was questioned about whether Russian was “really” my language. When I asked for the barista’s name and requested to speak with management, she refused to identify herself and confidently stated that the manager “hates Russian language and anything Russian,” adding that we could only speak to management another day. This felt openly discriminatory and hateful on the basis of language and perceived nationality. In an international city like Dublin, nobody should feel unwelcome for peacefully speaking their native language in private conversation. Such discriminatory and hateful comments can be rightfully escalated to the appropriate city or equality authorities. It is especially disappointing given the café’s visible support for Ukraine, a country associated with European values such as tolerance and respect for linguistic and cultural diversity. We left peacefully after paying, but the experience was deeply disappointing and unacceptable.

18/08/2026: Baked goods are amazing in here, a real treat 🙂. We tried the almond croissant, cinnamon bun, brownie & their sourdough loaf - all delicious. Only downside is their coffee - unfortunately, it was very bland on the flavour and they burnt the milk for the flat whites we ordered, giving us a very weak, very milky frothy mess 🥴, bit of a let down given the quality of their baking. Seating is limited, it's just a few stools and high bar along the wall, so come and grab the pastries/breads for take away 👍

28/08/2026: I went here with a few friends yesterday for a pint . The bar tender with glasses and grey Mohawk type hair came out and started talking to us. He then went on to say the n word in a song saying he used to sing as a kid. My friend asked him to stop and instead of apologising he said it again , got defensive and said he would say it more. Completely bizarre, inappropriate , racist & egotistical behaviour. Very disappointing because I like this pub but would think twice about coming back.

22/08/2026: Could not fault anything if I tried and I'd be very honest..From the moment you book to the lovely warm greetings on arrival 😊 The staff are a Credit and the Locals are Gas 🤣 made feel very Welcome..The Food is Amazing (would advise booking) or sit at the Bar nobody is Judging..Now where it gets even better OMAG !! The accommodation up stairs is better than a lot of fancy hotels we have stayed in..Firstly the interior design is absolutely Wow👌 What a lot of taught that has went into this 👏 100% to the Establishment the Staff ,Owners and not forgetting the Local Characters 🥰

17/08/2026: They were busy with a wedding but still squeezed us in when they saw we were with hungry children! The pizza was first class and the Guinness was as good. Highly recommended

17/09/2026: If you're a tourist, I was advised not to eat inside as they rip you off with the price and the food, but for a pint it's not bad at all and the food is tasty, good nightlife atmosphere and not dangerous at all

27/06/2026: The best cafe in the area, tasty food, good atmosphere and all that with the best prices. The only problem is they don't have any space so try not to come at peak times.

29/08/2026: First time into this place and won't be the last. Staff were extremely helpful, joking, and overall very pleasant and engaging. Pizza is as good as the pictures and tasty even cold later on that night. Portion sizes are ideal.

17/08/2026: This is not the best pizza place of your life but they are so dedicated to good service and good food that I can only highly recommend them. You can order 1 pizza with 2 flavours which was very convenient if you are not too hungry for the whole pizza. Tiramisu was not on the menu but is offered as a desert and it was very good. Pizza was very tasty. There could be a bit more toppings.

08/09/2026: I visited recently and was impressed by the fantastic food and drinks, all served up in a clean environment. The buffet had plenty of tasty options, and the service was top-notch. However, the loud happy birthday singing could be toned down a bit—it's not exactly the vibe I enjoy while eating. I'd love to see some more dessert variety and perhaps introduce some Indian milk sweets to the menu. Overall, it was a good experience, and I’ll definitely be back!

25/08/2026: A well stocked supermarket which we used frequently, It opens early and closes late seven days a week. There's a really good selection of local beers. When most cafes are closed on Sunday morning, you can stop off here to buy pastries etc for breakfast (including a coffee to go.) Very good all round; and (I'm told) their car park has to only EV fast charger in the area.

26/07/2026: I had my baby’s christening here on Saturday, and I honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough! The service was outstanding, the food was scrumptious, and the room looking over the golf course was spectacular. I couldn’t have asked for more, the location is absolutely breathtaking ! thank you so much Tulfaris ! It wouldn’t of been a place I would of thought of for a function but it will be the first now I can tell you 😊 again thanks so much for everything 😊

23/07/2026: I would only recommend to stay at this resort if you are planning to spend your entire trip golfing at the property. The location is very remote. We are from Chicago and had a rental car and stayed in the Manor house for a few days. Even with the cool weather, there is no AC so it is warm and the windows did not have screens so there were bugs in the room. Additionally, I did not find the front desk receptionists to be friendly or helpful when I was checking in. The hotel itself is outdated and I think the cleaning could be improved. They did not offer to help with bags, or show me to my room, or explain where the restaurant was, etc. Additionally, the location of this hotel was remote and not in a recommended area as there were very few restaurants in the nearby town. Most everything closed early, too.
