11/09/2025: Good place to eat if you fly into Shannon, it's about 2km from the airport, the food is quite varied and good, it's like a motorway service area buffet, you choose what you want and pay at the till, they don't serve alcohol and the price is quite reasonable

22/10/2025: Best Korean food I've had outside of Korea. The free side dishes were a nice touch and really good. The kimchi jiggae was fantastic, exactly what you'd get in Korea. Bibimbap also great and the portions were very good, we both came out really full. Staff very welcoming and attentive. Definitely recommend!

22/10/2025: The kimchi stew was the best. It tasted just like the fermented kimchi stew I used to eat in Korea! The side dishes were also excellent. The portions were generous, and the service was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was trendy and clean. I'd love to visit again!

26/05/2026: We recently had an event from there hosted by the HSE/ICPOP. The venue was fantastic and very accommodating. I noticed the menu and it was reasonably priced. The staff were supportive and helpful. I would highly recommend if you are visiting Clare Island.

01/06/2026: We had to wait more than 40 minutes for our food to arrive, which was far too long. When it finally came, the food was quite simple and unfortunately it was served cold. To make matters worse, we found a hair in one of the sauces, which was very unpleasant and raised concerns about hygiene standards. Overall, the experience was disappointing. The portions were filling, but the long wait, cold food and hygiene issue meant we would not be in a hurry to return.

27/05/2026: It’s a good spot with really good coffee. We had americano, latte and a brownie. The food was top notch. But the service was a bit slow when we were there. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

07/06/2026: A warm and attentive staff catered to us to a terrific meal. Already trying to figure out the next visit.

25/05/2026: A fabulous place to sit outside with parasols and bench tables to enjoy the sea views and have great food and even a bottle of Mateus Rose !!

19/05/2026: Luggage service was provided at check-in and check-out. Changing rooms was no problem, as we were unable to use the stairs due to mobility issues. Breakfast was excellent and the service throughout was superb. Best regards, Beate and Marie

18/05/2026: Stayed here with my parents to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday. The team couldn't do enough for them, everyone was so friendly and helpful. Ross carried all their luggage from the car to their room - both parents have walking sticks. Leanne was also a smiling helpful lady. Karen our waitress had such a lovely way with her and kept the one liners coming which charmed my parents. They love the banter! The rooms were fantastic, comfortable, well appointed and recently refurbished. The supervisor at breakfast was excellent too, we didn't catch his name but he was another real asset. We caught him about to head out to the car with my parents luggage in the rain, just stopped him in time - we had coats he didn't! This has got to be the friendliest hotel in ireland! Well done everyone, you aced the customer journey 👏🏻

23/05/2026: I went here with a friend for a takeaway coffee and I could not recommend it more! The atmosphere was cosy, the staff were friendly and the wait for our drinks was nonexistent! There are many options for people who do not drink coffee also, for example chai lattes, so there's something for everyone here.

22/05/2026: Lovely staff here! Food is grand but could do with a few more veggie options. A suggestion: some salt and pepper for the tables!

29/03/2026: Came here with a friend and our kids. Some of the staff was hostile and unfriendly, gave us a table and then said the table has to be back soon if we are just having drinks. After complaining, was told that the new policy is 30 mins for drinks and 1 hour if you're having food. Absolute disgrace, very unwelcoming especially when you're out for a cuppa with your mammy friends and little kids. It'll be one thing if we were finished drinking our coffees but my friend was still drinking hers and the waiter came over and said he needs the table and he can put her coffee into a takeaway cup, considering there was lots of empty tables it was a joke. Even the tables next to us were shocked by the fact we were asked to leave while only coming in, and told us to just stay and not worry about what was said. Unfortunately we were just so disappointed, at that stage just wanted to leave. Awful service! Editing after owner reply: Male waiter knows exactly what incident this was. Please look at cameras on that day, and see that the issue was raised on the way out the front door to the male waiter (think he is the supervisor) in the cafe and he clearly said it is the restaurant policy to have 30 mins for coffees and 1 hour for food, and didn't apologise, just said if we want we can make a complaint to the owner. A bit late when we were already told to leave and also had a small baby with us, very inconvenient and horrible situation to be in. I wouldn't mind if the coffees were actually drank but when the waiter tells you to put it into a takeaway cup and go it's a different story. Only the man next to us said to stay and drink them (he was a customer) we would have left earlier.

19/11/2025: The Salty fox is on the way up to Tullan Strand. They do a lovely breakfast and lunch. There toasties are very tasty and served with a small side salad with some crisps great if you have been walking and you feel hungry. The staff are really nice and make you feel so welcome. If your up that way you should give it a try once you have been you will want to go back.

06/01/2026: Lovely coffee ☕️ Very small cafe but great coffee and small choice of sandwiches but they are also very good. Some nice cakes too.

14/12/2025: My favourite place in town for coffee and a sandwich. It’s perfect for a quick grab-and-go, and the coffee is amazing. It’s become my regular spot and is now part of my daily routine.
