25/02/2026: The hotel is nice, the rooms aren't bad. The bedding is awful, it looks like the mattress I salvaged from my grandparents' attic. The hot water takes at least 10 minutes to reach the shower, and once it's hot, it's impossible to adjust. I feel like a crayfish, or rather, a very large lobster, to be objective. The TV isn't connected to the internet. The room wasn't very clean, like a huge cobweb in the corner of the ceiling that's been there for at least three months, judging by the size of the creature in its lair! That being said, it didn't bother me all night! It doesn't snore! On the other hand, all the noises I heard from the hallway were extremely disturbing: children running and shouting at 11:30 p.m., an employee changing light bulbs or fighting spiders, and also the noisy sprint of a snail! The door seemed thick and sturdy, but apparently not soundproof. And if we really want to nitpick, this is just my personal opinion, the shower screen is too short, so water gets all over the bathroom. The water has a nauseating smell and doesn't taste good. The detergent used to wash the bath towels is not pleasant at all. The restaurant is quite good, the meal was tasty, but the service wasn't really top-notch: no glasses on the tables and no water carafe. The standard of this hotel is far from that of a 4-star, or perhaps we're too demanding (yes, we French!), or perhaps we're not like the majority of the hotel's guests, who are English retirees, which surprised me, and I therefore concluded that we were in a retirement home. Fortunately, the staff is friendly, and the view from the room overlooks the river next door; it's very beautiful! I almost forgot to mention the spa; the price and the various reviews on different websites discouraged me. I hope it's good...

24/11/2025: I recently stayed at the Premier Inn, and I must say it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish! The hotel was spotless, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, and everything was perfectly maintained. Mr.Haroun was very kind and helpful and welcoming. Definitely I will come back.

14/01/2026: Top spot!! Locals are class.. Barstaff are class... Pints are also class.... Great Pub, great atmosphere.. Go get yerself a heap of pints if yer lucky enough to be visiting Falcarragh... And don't be a tight arse.. Spend a few ££€€ in the town while yer there...

24/12/2025: A HUGE thumbs up to the Shamrock bar for allowing dogs inside and recognising what customers want. I can not find any other bar, cafe, restaurant, shop or building within Falcarragh or all the surrounding towns that will allow dogs inside. Every place we've tried have rejected us with our small cockapoo dog. They really need to recognise the changing times and what customers want, they are losing so much business. The rest of the world is changing and starting to understand what their customers want and Ireland is being left behind, again. If someone was to open a dog friendly cafe and advertise the fact in a busy place like Dunfanaghy etc they would get a roaring trade from dog owners. Come on, get with the times and recognise what your customers want, there is a reason why the rest of the world is starting to allow dogs in. Well done to The Shamrock Lodge bar!!!!!!

05/03/2026: Terrific garden centre and more, great selection of plants , some usual choices, garden furniture and accessories, very pleasant restaurant, extremely friendly and very helpful staff . Highly recommend .

27/02/2026: Beautiful spot - delighted with the new look. Café far far too expensive for what is being served. A baked potato with cheese and coleslaw cost a lady €30!! She had to return it as it was served cold! But you garden varieties and implements and decoration but don’t eat here. Food isn’t very tasty either - needs an uplift of flavour and not so high dependence on starch like potatoes and rice. Cmon now Arboretum you’ve been there a while and still no change to the cafe.

22/03/2026: Hadn’t ordered from here in a while, whole experience was excellent. Irish girl took my order no confusion, told me to get the deal it was better value!!! 10/10! Food was all cooked perfect and fresh and hot! Sauce could be spicier and rice could do with more fried egg but these are both personal preference! The order was perfect and ticked all the boxes 9/10 Atmosphere was great! Gent of a delivery driver and banter on the phone ordering!!

09/12/2025: The gardens at Park Hotel Kenmare are magnificent! It's not just grounds, but a whole space for inspiration. Well-maintained paths and lush greenery are ideal for morning and evening strolls. Be sure to visit the coastal part — the views there are simply breathtaking.

05/12/2025: Such a beautiful hotel, amazing service from check-in to check-out. Location & views are unmatched. My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay at the Park Hotel in mid-August. The hotel is so unique and well appointed, the service was spectacular. The location is very walkable to the quaint downtown with additional restaurants and shops to explore. The spa is top notch and the vitality pool was amazing. Our only regret was only visiting the pool once! We also enjoyed afternoon tea which was a a highlight of our trip. The walking trails are easy and peaceful. This was such a magical place to visit, we really enjoyed our time together here resting, relaxing and enjoying this beautiful hotel.

14/12/2025: We popped in to have takeaway bento boxes after the guiness storehouse and it took about 15 minutes the food was incredible!!!! Highly recommend and was good value for money big portions

09/02/2026: We had family celebration lunch for my son's 60th Birthday on Sunday February 8th, the food was excellent, tasty and piping hot.The girls serving table were helpful and pleasant . They provided candles for cake and cut it up to serve with tea. A lovely celebration with happy memories. Thank you to Creighton Hotel and staff. Gertie Fee

26/02/2026: was great we booked on the road on the fly, rather than booking.com, lady was nice and rather than booking via the website we went straight through the business itself as we saved 10 euro and breakfast was includedbefore 125 off peak one night deluxe room I think it was.. we were happy and stayed there but in the morning we were told breakfast wasn't included was room only that was the only thing came back on us but staff are all lovely and food was great!

19/03/2026: Went primarily for food and was very disappointed. Ordered three small plates and fry’s. To start, the crayfish tostadas were nice, fresh and zingy. The other two, fish tacos and calamari were over seasoned and tasted the same but with different texture. The fry’s were soggy so sent back but we had finished the food when the fresh ones arrived and we didn’t eat them, still got charged though. Will not go back. Staff were very good though.

07/03/2026: I don’t usually give reviews but the TapHouse deserves to be recognised. The staff at the Taphouse in Ranelagh are some of the nicest and most accommodating I’ve come across. It’s rare to find a place where the team are consistently so friendly and genuinely helpful. They always go out of their way to make sure everything is right and that you’re well looked after. They’re welcoming, attentive, and always happy to cater to whatever you need. It makes every visit feel easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend with great food and drinks too!

14/11/2025: Lovely food. Great servings and fast delivery. The staff are so nice and love a good chat. Everyone waving to the managers as they pass by. It feels like a community. I recommend the mocha! There are vegan options also. Such a cute aesthetic too.
