06/08/2026: Cut the pizzas please,It’s a pizza not a big pancake 😅 The other half of the Pizza was tasty but I tried to tear off a slice and everything just slid off. Half of the pizza ruined,called and explained and was told sometimes they do and sometimes they don’t cut them because the base is soft… no sympathy :/ I would have cut it but I just moved in and have no cutlery. I rolled the other half into a fat cannoli and demolished it and it was good but for €26 cmonnnn man

The reception staff were very warm& attentive as were bar staff.The food was excellent but the whiskey liquor coffee was one of best i have had and i,m very fussy about how its made& presented! 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

08/06/2026: Stayed at this beautiful hotel for three nights while on a tour that included County Clare and the west coast, and I felt welcome right from the start. The reception staff were very kind and helpful throughout our stay, promptly sorting out a hitch on our arrival when my suitcase was left outside the wrong room, and mailing all my postcards on the day we left. Could not believe how big and spacious my room was! I had a choice between a double bed or a generous single one. The room was clean, quiet and warm, with ample wardrobe space and all the usual amenities. The only negative for me was that the table and writing desk were too high for the chairs, rather a problem if you're not very tall! The bathroom had a lovely spacious walk-in shower, handmade toiletries (beautiful fragrance!), and extra towels. Dinner was in a large restaurant on the lower ground floor. Courteous and charming waiters, and professional service. The wine was quite pricey, but we were offered free drinks on the first evening. The dinners were well prepared, plenty of variety with creative ingredients, though I noticed no vegetarian options for the main courses. I especially loved the delicious beef and Guinness casserole, and the locally sourced lamb. Gorgeous desserts too. The hearty breakfasts really set me up for the day. As well as the usual cereals and cooked breakfast, there was a nice cold buffet with cheese, hard-boiled egg, cold meats and mackerel. There's an immaculate little garden with outside tables and wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. A flight of steps leads from here down to the River Inagh and the waterfalls, and the picturesque village of Ennistymon is only a 5 minute walk away. There was music and dancing in the bar on all three nights we were here, including traditional Irish entertainment on our last night. I certainly enjoyed the time I spent here and would stay here again.

02/08/2026: I do like this café location but was a bit disappointed with the breakfast today. The sausages were barely cooked. Scrambled eggs not good. Very rubbery, probably powdered eggs. The staff are very nice, polite. In fairness to them today as well a woman before us gave the most complicated convoluted order I’ve ever heard I could barely stop laughing so I’d say she put pressure on the kitchen for sure Outside seating is the best area

12/06/2026: Good value kebabs.€10. Have been here twice. They make their own bread and cook in a tandir. Tastes good, fresh, has some softness. Small hint, risk of gummyness, particularly second time as I eat to go an hour later. Veg not the freshest. They do offer jalapeños and chillies, which is nice change. Meat was standard. Employees nice, relaxed, but little slow atmosphere. Not really a sit in spot. Was asked to revolut owner direct.

04/06/2026: Great spot to stop for lunch. A welcome alternative to the bland chain-cafés. Delicious food and great vegetarian options. We were even able to eat outside in the blazing sunshine!

26/07/2026: If you are lucky enough like we were to get a window seat on a beautiful sunny day, then, it's a lovely vista overlooking the sea and marina. The staff who served us we both polite and patient as we pondered the menu choices. We chose from the set and al a carte menu and although the portions were quite small, they were adequate when we added some sides. The dishes were fresh and well flavoured and helped along by a nice bottle of wine and based on four sharing the guide price would be between fifty to sixty euro per person. The atmosphere was nice and friendly and it's a popular choice so it was quite busy but we didn’t feel rushed. Yes, it will be on our list when we next visit this beautiful area. Malahide is a wonderful place to visit and has good travel connections to Dublin City using the DART Train Service. The town has a pedestrianised main street with a wide selection of bars etc. Definitely a great place to visit whether you arrive by yacht to its marina or by road or rail. Love the menu, and on our last visit, I was very pleased with the food, the service, and the general buzz about the place! We will be back soon...

12/05/2026: Lovely pub with great staff and our weekly getaway after parkrun. Staff are amazing and food and drink is gorgeous. There are different places to sit in inside and outside and it is one of few pubs that also works very well in larger groups
