31/12/2025: Love this place - been here few times - visited with family. Great vibe. great food , service top notch - Good value

07/12/2025: Was in here with my boyfriend Sunday evening. Food was very good, particularly the chowder. The service unfortunately let the entire experience down, I had to ask for the wine list three times, we ordered a coffee and also had to remind the waiter for it. My partner ordered wings and was only later told they had ran out, I asked for a small modification to my main and was told no problem but it came without any changes.

07/06/2026: 12 years ago it was different managers and it was very good. Now the waiter was unfriendly; they served the starter and main course at the same time. It's a disgrace to sell such small mussels. Avoid this place.

02/06/2026: Very fresh and tasty seafood. Highly recommend. I got the fish pie but everything great on the menu. Worthwhile stop on the way to Connemara National Park

11/10/2025: The Taste of Italy was a delightful and delicious surprise. I had the pistachio croissant and my husband had the chocolate croissant. We kick ourselves for not taking some to-go and for not tasting the organic apple pie. Since we were headed out of town, we missed their lunch special, but I'm certain it's fabulous. The hosts were warm and friendly. Highly recommend!

04/10/2025: This Italian has just replaced my favourite Italian restaurant in London. Might not be local but worth travelling for.

28/05/2026: Came here for pints in NYE and it became one of my favourite pubs. Love the vibes in this place.

24/05/2026: In addition to good beer options, they have small food and cocktail menus but quite good options on both. We're regular fans of the chicken tacos and the old fashioned. Outdoor area is great during summer, and inside is snuggly and warm during winter. The attached off license has some really great options including the best selection of canned cocktails we've found.

23/02/2026: Myself and my wife had our wedding here in February 2026 and we could not have asked for a nicer venue. The staff were so helpful in planning our wedding with us, and looking after us on the day itself. Shania, Katie and Davie were amazing. The food was amazing quality; a lot of our guests commented it was the best wedding dinner they’d ever had. The decor on the day was beautiful too, and we love the old world manor aesthetic of the hotel. I can’t praise them highly enough. It’s a hidden gem in south Tipperary.

14/02/2026: Lovely, comfortable, clean, relaxed and easy going hotel- nice old worldly themed building and cosy rooms with all the mod cons. Wonderful delicious food to be had there also, and the gardens and grounds are beautiful. The hotel staff and really nice too. Don't miss the breakfast!!

26/05/2026: Fine traditional Irish bar, small log fire burning (a rainy day in May). Fine pint of Guinness.

24/05/2026: Lovely family run bar in lower Main Street of Buncrana Has a unique interior with every wall decorated with wine corks There’s a couple of bars inside the pub and a nice outdoor beer garden with nice flowers and shrubs They have music on weekends and we saw a couple of good singers and band grew during the night as more musicians turned up and joined them as happens in good Irish pubs open in the day till late

27/11/2025: I can't believe how lucky we are to have this place in our neighbourhood. Superb food, whether breakfast or lunch. Coffee is always top notch. Keep up the great work Robin and crew.

The service staff is incredibly friendly, and the food was so delicious that we ate there several times – sadly, you hardly ever find this level of service in Germany anymore. We did have a little running gag, though: the chef took the "char-grilled" part a bit too literally one evening… 🔥 But otherwise, we highly recommend it! 21/05/2026: Our visit here was a lovely experience. The food the staff the place itself were all excellent. What else can I say. If you are a whiskey drinker, the owner also has a distillery and their whiskey is very good too. My favourite was the version called Alba.

19/05/2026: Great food and great service. We had to wait maybe 5 minutes for a table, the place was packed so we thought it would maybe take a while for the food to get out, but everything came out quite fast. Enjoyed the lamb and the duck, and the steamed mussels as well. Great restaurant if you’re in the area.

19/04/2026: Best takeaway in Leitrim by a mile ,lovely friendly staff and food is delicious, prices can't be beaten around here and portions are savage. Great delivery service and great spot altogether.. highly recommend if your looking for takeaway
