31/05/2026: Pubs worth visiting! Staff are efficient and friendly and prices are reasonable. We happened to visit during a trad session during the music festival. There was a fab buzz about!

08/11/2025: Absolutely outstanding! I can’t recommend Elite Cake Boutique Galway highly enough! I simply told her, “I trust you — do what you can,” and she absolutely delivered beyond all expectations. The cake she created was perfect inside and out — beautifully designed, full of creativity, and so much attention to detail. It was for a special 25th anniversary, and she captured the poker theme flawlessly — from the cards and chips to every little decoration. Everyone was amazed by how stunning it looked, and even more impressed by how delicious it tasted! You can tell she puts her heart into every creation. 27/10/2025: My first experience with this bakery and I've absolutely zero regrets. They made THE BEST cake! Every guest loved it. A wee bit pricey but at the end of the day it's worth each penny of it! Keep up the good work!

03/09/2025: Absolutely amazing little gem. We stopped here on our way through and it was absolutely amazing. Very good value for money, amazing cakes, scones and exquisite crepes. The name tells it all, its small and cosy and has loads of character. The coffee was amazing and the service was absolutely top notch. Would 100% recommend to anyone passing through or staying in Athenry.

25/08/2025: We stopped here on the way back home from Westport and I have to say one of the best cafes I have been to. Coffee massively on point it was epic hot chocolate epic and a special request for an iced chocolate was not problem. The crepes were out of this world I had the streaker wife had the nookie and the kids had the ham and cheese all were amazing and the boss lady and locals in the cafe were so nice and welcoming. Definitely recommend stopping here if you're ever in athenry I know we will be back

09/04/2026: We had our wedding at Newbay House Hotel on the 4/4/26 and it was spectacular. The house is absolutely stunning, and the bridal suite is honestly out of this world! The room for our ceremony was perfect, and the food was amazing—our guests are still raving about it. A massive thank you to the manager, Maria Power, who made everything so easy for us. She is a real asset to Newbay and made the whole experience completely stress-free. Highly recommend!

04/03/2026: We truly fell in love with this venue from the very first moment we saw it. There was just something so magical about it - it instantly felt like our place. The beautiful grounds, the atmosphere, and especially The Wishing Tree - the ancient apple tree nestled in the gardens completely captured our hearts.♥️✨️ Maria and Rachel were absolute angels throughout the entire journey.😍 From the smallest details to the biggest moments, they handled everything with such care, warmth, and genuine excitement for us. Nothing ever felt like “just another wedding” — they made us feel truly special and supported every single step of the way. We honestly couldn’t have done it without them.♥️♥️ And Paul… wow. The food was beyond incredible. So many of our guests told us it was the best wedding meal they’ve ever had! Every bite was delicious, beautifully presented, and clearly made with so much love and care.😋 One of the most special parts for us? This venue is perfect if you have little “furevers” in your life 🐾 Being able to include our dog in our big day meant everything to us, and the team welcomed them so warmly. It made the celebration feel even more personal and complete.♥️🐶 We are endlessly grateful to this amazing team for giving us a day filled with love, joy, and the most beautiful memories. 21/04/2026: A wonderful, informative, and highly entertaining tour through the world of Irish literature. Several stops at great pubs offer the perfect opportunity for a pint. A Guinness is certainly welcome, but not required. We took the tour on April 20, 2026, and highly recommend it to everyone.

17/04/2026: This is one of the best things you can do in Dublin! Our guides were fun, personable, and engaging. They really brought alive the pages of Ireland’s literary greats, imbuing Dublin’s streets and pubs with even more character. Highly recommend!

08/05/2026: An absolutely special place to stay. The house is amazing, hot tub, sauna and firepit make for great evenings. Jonathan was friendly and a great host.

27/12/2025: Absolutely fantastic experience loved every minute of our stay. We got married there this December and they had beautiful Christmas decorations out around the house. The bedrooms were amazing and the hot tub and sauna were well used by everyone who came with us. If you are looking for a place for a wedding a party or just a family weekend away this is the place to go as it was amazing.

07/04/2026: best pub i’ve been to in Ireland so far. Bartender was great, the regulars were so kind, and a great pint of guinness. nothing beats sitting next to the fire and watching hurling. highly recommend

15/01/2026: Great pub, still in the centre but seemingly away from the maddnes further down the street. Just a proper homely pub, great staff, always friendly and helpful, atmosphere terrific, and of course a fine pint!
