26/06/2026: Unfortunately we are forced to leave a bad review. When we first arrived, we were seated immediately at a front table by the window, and it seemed like it was going to be a great experience and meal. After we ordered our food and drinks, we were served bread and waited for our appetizers (one caesar salad and three chowders). After about 20 minutes, someone came by to ask us if we wanted another round of drinks and some more bread, to which we passed on the drinks and agreed to the bread. After about another 25 minutes, our server came over to say that the kitchen had overlooked the ticket with our appetizers on it, so it would be another 15 minutes or so until our appetizers arrived. As a family who owns multiple restaurants / is in the industry, we tried to be understanding, as we know what it is like to be a busy restaurant on a Friday night. However, once the appetizers finally arrived, there were fish bones in the chowder, and the soup was unfortunately average. After about another 30 minutes, and our entrees were not anywhere in sight, we asked when we could expect our food and were told “it will be coming out soon”. By this time, we had been at our table for about an hour and 40 minutes, and the manager/bartender offered to buy us a round of drinks to appease us. We passed on the round of drinks and asked when our food could be expected. She told us that it was “being plated just now”. Again, we waited about 15 minutes and our food had not arrived. At this point, we asked for our bill and said we didn’t want to wait for our food anymore. The bartender apologetically brought our check over, while continuing to blame the kitchens error, however, did not comp any of our drinks or appetizers. The whole experience was extremely disappointing and we would not recommend wasting your time, or spending your money here.

26/06/2026: What an amazing dinner we had!! The staff were so very kind and accommodating and let us come in right when they were closing ! All of our dishes were superb and the cocktails !! Fine dining quality in nice casual atmosphere !

15/09/2026: A very good restaurant in Maynooth, enjoyed our visit here last week while visiting Maynooth. Good food and service, woukd recommend.

08/08/2026: Great pub. They had a fund raising event happening when we popped in with friends. 🎾⛳️ & a rodeo bull out the back!! It was brilliant & absolutely packed with people. I ordered a pizza from the mobile van & it was gorgeous. Great night.x

09/07/2026: A little gem of a place. If you want well priced great coffee this is the best in the area. There’s an earthy vibe to the place (see photos)and the staff are lovely. It’s great to support a local business too.

01/07/2026: Great place to get coffee. Very efficient service. The coffee is great as well as the cakes and treats. And even better are the staff. Always go out of the way to say hello and ask you how you are. Top service and a great addition to the area.

02/09/2026: We had the dog with us while travelling by Bundoran and had heard that this was a dog friendly spot. It definitely is. The food was a perfect lunch, I'd the tacos and herself had a toastie. Both were very tasty, the coffee was good but the range of soft drinks limited.
