01/06/2025: The earlier in the day you go, the cheaper is it, which is a nice perk! They have an array of spices and sauces as well as a lot of fresh meats and veggies to choose from. Plus, the service is fast and friendly! It’s central to a lot of the tourist attractions, so it’s a great for grabbing a bite to eat post wandering! The dessert was lacklustre, but you can never lose with all you can eat.
31/05/2025: Super delicious Mongolian restaurant.
They have a buffet where you can choose your own ingredients for the grill, then add your choice of spices and choose a sauce for the barbecue.
It's prepared right in front of you and then served with rice.
Very, very tasty and inexpensive!
€22 per person for the all-you-can-eat Early Bird Buffet.
Free water is also included.
Definitely recommended!

04/06/2025: It's been a long while (years)since I've stumbled upon this traditional Irish pub. The atmosphere was quite, as it was not busy... everything I would have imagined. what was very cool was the mirror partitions that separated the bar stools & just sitting between them taking in the history with a pint.. The bartender that served me is still in some of the current photo's I see on line, so judging from that I'm guessing the palace bar is very while grounded with tradition. I wouldn't miss this place if I were you.

02/06/2025: This was not our first visit. The meat used to be tastier, apparently this time we were less lucky. The dessert was gorgeous, the bar was also top notch. We were a little disappointed when after we finished eating, we were asked to move to the bar counter, although our table remained free all this time. But this did not spoil the overall atmosphere and overall we left satisfied.
01/06/2025: Had a meal this evening here and ordered the signature burger it was very bland and tasteless and came with a tiny portion of chips and a dash of salad on the side for the price it was a real let down.. service was decent staff are nice and pleasant

My wife had the hot honey chicken burger and says it's the best she's ever had as well.
The bacon and cheese fries are so good they put Eddie rockets to shame.
Also tried the honey and sriracha wings last time and they were absolutely delicious. Sauce was one of the best I've had and wings were crispy af.
Great service, very quick and attentive staff.
09/03/2025: Went in here very hungry got 2 combo meals, comes with chips and drinks and burger. Very fast, efficient and very tasty. Would recommend

13/04/2025: Visiting from America and came for drinks after our Jameson experience, and were blown away by the service, deals, and activities available. Plenty of games, our drinks were phenomenal and cheaper than usual with deals going on, and our bartender Benjamin was extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back and recommend it to all!

06/06/2025: Had brunch and dinner here on 5th June on our way to and from Tina Turner musical matinee show.Arrived early for brunch but we were accomodated no problem.
As we were a group of 47 and limited timewise we all had delicious vegetable soup with a fabulos selection of fresh sandwiches.This was followed by tea/ coffee and biscuits.
For dinner at 7p.m.we had a choice of roast beef, chicken and mushroom vol au vont or cod.All served with veg& potato or salad & chips.It was all piping hot and very tasty.This was followed by apple crumble or sherry trifle.
Again service and food was excellent.
02/06/2025: We were a group of 16 ladies from Canada in need of a quick stop during our tour. The owner was so gracious, opening up a special area just for us. Service was quick and friendly, and the food was delicious with plenty of options. A wonderful spot—I’d happily bring a group here again!

19/05/2025: Frozen chips straight out of a box (we saw it in the side of the trailer) disguised as local potatoes is blatant false advertising, especially when you’re charged €15 for a stingy portion of them with a tiddler of a fish fillet…
SKIP this place and don’t be caught by the tourist trap.

15/05/2025: First visit today. Lovely food and venue, lovely waiting staff but bloody heck, the guy behind the bar doing restaurant payments badly needs a refresher course in customer service!! Not a smile, please or thank you from the time I approached him to pay my bill. In fact, only for my thank you when he presented me with the card machine and another thank you from me when he gave me the receipt the whole interaction was done in silence. Not a good look for any establishment. Do better!

25/05/2025: We enjoyed our stay at Royal Killarney. The room was large and fresh with a new bathroom. The included breakfast was plentiful with not only a buffet but also delicious choices from a menu. The staff were friendly and helpful. The central, walkable location cannot be beat. I highly recommend this hotel.
