13/05/2026: Only thing I didn't totally love, is it's a very small restaurant, so I felt like I was sitting on the person next to me (not at my table). Food was authentic and delicious. Staff was friendly and it had that family owned vibe which is my favorite!

04/04/2026: My friend and I stopped at Monroe's for lunch. We were blessed with the appearance of Remi, a friendly giant, who patrols the pub & check on guests (and their plates sometimes haha). The pub itself has a good atmosphere and very interesting signed posters on the ceiling! It was busy, but not chaotic busy. The staff was super friendly. We both ordered beef burgers, which were really really tasty, and of course, a pint of Guinness. We have also noticed the place hosts many gigs and other events, which is awesome!

04/05/2026: Superb in every regard. The rack of lamb was perfection and the gravy was lush. Atmosphere was comfortable with a quiet buzz, no loud music or obnoxious patrons. Kind of gave a New England vibe. Wait staff was awesome and it was great talking to them after the meal as well. Genuinely couldn't recommend it more, just make sure you book reservations early.

02/05/2026: We were absolutely blown away by the food, staff and atmosphere at Momos. It’s was easily the best meal we’ve had and are still thinking about it the next day. We loved the good quality local ingredients which contributed to the incredible flavours. Everything was cooked beautifully and every detail in the restaurant was perfect. The staff were super attentive and very friendly. Also special thank you to Camile for giving us some great recommendations for around the city! Can’t recommend enough!

14/06/2026: One of my favourite places to have breakfast in Dublin. Everything is fairly priced, great value for money. Portions are big, cheapest coffees you’ll find and staff are so friendly. Such a lovely breakfast date idea. Only thing is the size, with more than 4 people, even two can be hard to get a table as it is small on the inside. We got the pancakes and they were delicious, all the food there looked so good. Will definitely return, if in doubt try it!

10/06/2026: Try this place for good food at very reasonable prices. Nice people to boot. You must have the "full irish", a great feed for 10 euro. I recommend!

31/05/2026: I've stayed at the Marker Hotel on my last two visits to Dublin, each lasting about a week. While the hotel is beautiful with great amenities, this most recent visit fell far short of expectations. The curtain issue: Our room curtain would not close fully, allowing light to stream in and making restful sleep nearly impossible. We reported this to staff multiple times throughout our stay. Each time we were told it was fixed, but it never was. Staff would simply force the curtain as far as it would go, and the problem persisted the moment it was reopened. On our fourth or fifth attempt, the curtain partially detached and fell on my friend. Despite further repair attempts, the issue was never resolved. While the hotel sent chocolates and wine (which we appreciated), what we needed was either a proper fix or an offer to switch rooms. The result was a week-long vacation where we never felt fully rested, hardly what you expect from an expensive room. The spa policy: We booked this hotel primarily for the spa. We understood that child access hours changed during the Christmas–New Year period and planned our days accordingly to use the spa during adult-only hours. However, multiple times we arrived to find the pool and hot tub packed with children, splashing, diving, and screaming, making it impossible to relax. When I asked staff about the discrepancy, I was told they were allowing children during adult-only hours due to check-ins. This was incredibly frustrating, as the spa was the primary reason we chose to return to the Marker. We never got to use the facilities as planned and never got to fully relax. The staff response to this issue was also insufficient. We also experienced issues with shower pressure, noise, and other minor problems. For the price point, I'm disappointed we didn't receive what we paid for. We're returning to Dublin in May and had initially planned to book the Marker again, but based on this experience, we'll unfortunately be looking elsewhere.

30/05/2026: We had an amazing stay at Anantara! The rooms were beautiful, the staff were welcoming and attentive, and the food was delicious. A special thank you to Matthijs at reception, who went above and beyond to make our stay especially enjoyable. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in Dublin!

14/06/2026: My friends and I climbed the Reek, and went here for food a heap of beers afterwards. The service from Katie and the two Amy's was excellent, they were so friendly and great craic!!! So good we went here for two nights for dinner!! Well done Katie and the two Amy's. !!

He took the time to understand our preferences and suggested drinks accordingly—each one perfectly suited to our taste. Every cocktail was exceptional, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

27/04/2026: Amazing cocktails. Came here because I say it was on the Pinnacle Guide - usually a good benchmark. The cocktails were innovative and I wish I could've stayed longer and tried out the martini-trolley that is brought to your table to make any martini 'your way'. Tried out some cocktails from their signature menu which were both innovative and delicious. Being given a welcome drink alongside snacks is a really lovely touch, too. The service received was professional and friendly and I would love to re-visit.
