He took the time to understand our preferences and suggested drinks accordingly—each one perfectly suited to our taste. Every cocktail was exceptional, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

27/04/2026: Amazing cocktails. Came here because I say it was on the Pinnacle Guide - usually a good benchmark. The cocktails were innovative and I wish I could've stayed longer and tried out the martini-trolley that is brought to your table to make any martini 'your way'. Tried out some cocktails from their signature menu which were both innovative and delicious. Being given a welcome drink alongside snacks is a really lovely touch, too. The service received was professional and friendly and I would love to re-visit.

11/04/2026: 2nd time here. The food is of the highest quality. The piece of fish given in the fish and chips option is so generous and it’s that generosity and the quality of the grub that makes this my favorite pub/restaurant in Ireland.

17/04/2026: Really friendly and helpful server. She offered suggestions and answered questions. Tasty food on small sharing plates. Really liked the arancini and leeks and dumplings and sweet potato hummus. Chips were good, but would be better with a fun sauce like the other dishes have. Many drink options for cocktails and wine.

15/04/2026: Delicious food, beautifully cooked and presented very well. We had dinner and found the staff very knowledgeable about the menu and confident in recommending a good wine pairing. The choice of complimentary still or sparking water is a nice touch that other restaurants could learn from. The bavette with pavé potato was perfectly cooked and had a delicious crust. Ceviche was very fresh although would have been nicer if the fish was thinly sliced rather than diced and the chilli could have been toned down a notch or two for my liking. Service overall was unobtrusive, efficient and considered. The view out to the working dock was interesting and added to the bustling atmosphere. I felt more attention is needed to table presentation however. Either the wood needs to be spotless with no off putting paw marks or stickiness or table clothes or nice place mats should be used. Overall impression was good and we felt it was good value for the standard of food served.

19/04/2026: Nice hotel, great service, busy and some parties were going on, but this is a great part of Dublin to stay in if you’re thinking of visiting!

14/04/2026: The Hotel is very nice, the rooms and the community spces are clean and nice. Brandon, Fernando and Marianne at the reception are very professional and helpful. The breakfast is fantastic, and even has some Irish specialities. I am grateful for staying here.

12/12/2025: We went here for our anniversary and we plan on trying the entire menu! Everything was great, the burgers and chips were customised for us and WOW! The service was stellar, a better atmosphere than many beer gardens. Friendly dog stopped by. We really enjoyed our visit, thank you 😃

17/04/2026: Enjoyed an afternoon here with pints, friends, & traditional Irish music on a Sunday afternoon. Seems to be a place for both locals & visitors alike.

10/04/2026: The bar is known for its local music scene. The ground floor houses a rather rustic bar, while the first-floor room is where the events and evening live music take place. You have to be quick, especially on weekends; doors open around 6:15 pm, and half an hour later the room is packed. We were hoping to experience the local pub atmosphere, but the place was mostly filled with tourists (including us). The music was nice, but not quite what we had in mind.

25/04/2026: The biryani we ordered this time was very disappointing. We’ve ordered from here before and it was good, but this time it was completely different. It felt more like a vegetable biryani with a few chicken pieces added rather than a proper chicken biryani. On top of that, it was extremely spicy—almost like it was full of chilli powder . The balance of flavors was off, and the dish was not up to the standard we expected based on our previous experience and on top there was tamarind pulp. Our mood was so off. Don’t think we will be ordering again.

10/04/2026: Good ramen. Used to have 5 stars but I was presented with very optimistic American style tipping options at the end so I hope that was worth losing two stars 🌟

02/01/2026: The pizzas were really good. I definitely recommend this place. The guy who served us was super friendly; I don't remember his name, but I think he was Brazilian. The place was very cozy and very reasonably priced. Two pizzas and two drinks came to €34, which isn't bad at all for Dublin.
