29/09/2025: Not too bad, true speakeasy vibes with secret password and entrance. Creepy back alley that leads you upstairs to a comfortable venue above. Downstairs is the restaurant and the more pub-like sister “speakeasy” (which is not hidden by any means and much louder).

16/10/2025: Second visit to a restaurant often disappoints, but not this time. Confident cooking, generous portions, well chosen wines. Undoubtedly the best monkfish dish I've ever eaten. Efficient but relaxed service. Prices very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Will definitely return for a seafood treat next time I'm in this part of Dublin.
11/09/2025: A very nice experience, quality service and very attentive. The food was well above and beyond expectations, the fish was cooked perfectly, with lots of flavor and a lot of work. Beautiful presentation and very generous portions. The setting is just as enjoyable. Bravo!!!!!

07/09/2025: Probably the best food I have had in Ireland and definitely the best Thai food I have outside of Thailand. We were beyond surprised to find this gem in Athlone. The food was so delicious and very authentic.
Rachel is a super star! She is very friendly and attentive. A huge shout out to everyone in the kitchen and a young man from KL who brought us our food.

22/10/2025: Good Irish beef, although quite expensive. The wines, as in all of Ireland, are completely outrageously priced, more than four times their retail value.
On the other hand, the cod is excellent and very reasonably priced.
Finally, good coffee.
19/10/2025: The food was phenomenal, the steak came exactly as I ordered, and the quality was top notch. I highly recommend the peanut butter and chocolate tart to finish the dinner, as the texture and taste were both fantastic.
The waiters checked in on us and the food in a very attentive and polite manner, we felt very cared for.
The atmosphere was very ambient, perfect for an intimate dinner, but also a larger gathering.
I would very highly recommend this place:)

18/09/2025: Mrs. Ludmila was rude and said I was strange. This kind of customer service doesn't reflect well on this company. I asked the lady to put some rice on the table, then some chicken, rice, and chicken. It was an excuse to call me a weirdo. I won't tolerate this kind of behavior! It's not in her best interest to judge customers.

Food was great. Service was exceptional.
My vegan wife expected to grab dinner elsewhere, or get a side dish of mushy vegetables. The waiters (Ryan and Carlos) chatted to the chef, and made her a complete seven course dish that was off menu. She was floored.
Highly recommended.

13/10/2025: The staff here are incredible, really made me feel welcome. Thank you again :) I visited to watch the Ireland v Portugal match and was quickly seated to have a good view. The place erupted when Kelleher saved Ronaldo's PK with his foot!! Josie's Stew and the recommended spicy whiskey was great, but the highlight was the Sticky Toffee Pudding. My thanks to the staff for the brilliant recommendation! No live music that night due to some car troubles but not the fault of the tavern.
16/09/2025: Another fine pub in Limerick. Good service, great local beer, the Whitefield Ruby Red, and a classic serving of Irish lamb stew. Highly recommend if you're in the neighborhood.

25/09/2025: Just got into town Galway. Our hotel is 30 minutes outside Galway. So we decided to walk through Athenry. A lot of ancient medieval walls and buildings. Quite fascinating!
We went to The Old Barracks for an appetizer and a Guinness.
We picked a great place. Casual and very friendly. Food apps were great.
Fun start to our two days in Galway.
