12/05/2025: Arrived and were seated promptly. It was unfortunate they were unable to put the Sky game on at 4:30. It was my son’s birthday and this was one of the reasons we chose here to celebrate. Some good food and watch the game. What was even more unfortunate was the server letting 3 of the dishes fall on the ground. That meant 3 of us had food while the other 3 had to wait for a new serving. It did put a damper on things which was disappointing for my son. The staff were very apologetic but I felt they could have done more or even offered some concessions on the bill. I wouldn’t be racing back I’m afraid.

Not only were the portions generous, ensuring excellent value, but the quality was top-notch. And let's talk about the coffee! It was a revelation – strong and wonderfully smooth, with a presentation that showed real care. Stepping inside, you're greeted by a beautifully decorated interior. 24/04/2025: In an area full of good shops for food, Mellon's is the best by far - absolutely spectacular lunch sandwiches (with unique options every day), pastries, the best bread in Dublin that can't be gotten anywhere else, and great coffee - all with the friendliest owners and staff.

17/04/2025: Mellon's is full of the sweetest and friendliest people, they made a tourist feel right at home. It was early in the morning yet they still went above and beyond hospitality, giving me suggestions and telling me the history of the neighborhood. Not to mention I had the most delicious Irish breakfast sandwich that I enjoyed on picnic table out front. I'm so glad I stopped by!

17/05/2025: Great place. They were busy when my friend and I arrived, but we were able to get a table fairly quickly. My only issue with the place was that our condiments were taken away and not returned. When we asked for salt, it took ages for some sachets of salt to arrive (we had previously had a salt shaker). Other than this, quality service. Food was great and very good value for money. We got some cakes to take away and enjoy later with a cup of tea. Over all very pleasant.

16/06/2025: Myself and my family of 8 went to Thunder Road for father's day for a meal and drinks. The food was absolutely delicious from start to finish. Could not fault a thing. The pasta dish was beautiful. The cocktails were so nice. The atmosphere was great. They had live music and my toddler was loving dancing to the music. The staff was exceptional so friendly and look after us very well. Will definitely be back again

12/05/2025: Lovely spot. Myself and partner visited yesterday and had dinner with drinks. The staff were extremely efficient and very friendly. A lovely atmosphere also, very friendly. I had the catch of the day for dinner and it was so fresh, very tasty. Will definitely be visiting this little gem again 😊!

21/05/2025: The food was delicious, but I was disappointed by the attitude of the waiter and his manager. The only person who was genuinely friendly and welcoming was the kind waitress. Additionally, the soft drinks menu was quite limited, and the orange juice I ordered was honestly terrible.
