22/08/2026: Urgh such good value. Local, fresh chips made in the back, fried fresh. All their stuff is so good and reallly good value. Only 5.50 for curry cheese chips. Great portion size, always know the locals.

07/09/2026: Was looking forward to eating at this vegan restaurant but it was not worth it contrary to what the good reviews suggested. I ordered a curry noodle soup which arrived nearly cold. The cake was ok although quite dry and way to expensive at 7,50 or 8,50 a piece. The service was close to non-existant; one of the waitresses was extremly rude and made one feel very unwelcome. It literally felt like one eating in the restaurant, asking for a table to be seated or odering food via her was an inconvenience to her. Would not recommend eating here.

13/09/2026: **Discrimination against our group** I am extremely disappointed by the unfair and discriminatory treatment our group experienced here. ​While waiting in line to park, the parking attendant, Paul pulled our group out of the queue and directed us to a completely different, full lot. We initially followed instructions, assuming the line was being redirected, but he singled out only us, no other cars were removed from the queue. This resulted in an extra 15-minute walk back and forth, plus another 15-minute wait for an open spot at the second location. ​When we confronted Paul about why we were removed, he dismissively told us we had to go back to the end of the original line. Singling out our group was blatantly unfair, completely uncalled for, and ruined what should have been an enjoyable visit. ​Management needs to address this behavior immediately, train their staff on basic fairness and customer service, and ensure no other visitors are targeted or treated this way.

05/09/2026: We were lured in with a advertisement of a full irish for 10 euros, it soon changed when tea and coffee were not included in price of breakfast ,breakfast arrived and everything seemed deep fried with mushrooms inedible too.Eggs were raw also and most of the breakfast was left behind .Service was amazing but quality of food wasn't there

01/09/2026: Restaurant located in a small, busy alley in the very center of Cork. Very friendly staff. Quick and efficient service. Very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our mezze and kebabs.

31/08/2026: What a great find on a Sunday evening in Cork. The food was delicious, the service was prompt, the restaurant was clean & the staff was wonderful. Los trabajadores hablan español también. The atmosphere was very inviting & the price was reasonable for an elegant restaurant. The bathroms were clean too, which seems strange to mention but often bathrooms in restaurants are not so clean. If I had any complaint, it is the door was open, which let smoke drift in from the patio area. All in all, I highly recommend the restaurant.

05/09/2026: There are so many “best pubs in Ireland” lists. The truth is that there are great pubs everywhere in the country and O’Connell’s is one of those. It has so many different areas that it’s like visiting a bunch of pubs at once. We ordered at three bars in O’Connell’s and each person was as friendly as the other. We stopped one last time and asked the bartender for whiskey recommendations. He asked a few questions and came back with two pours to taste. One of those ended up being the bottle I purchased later to take back to the States. Can’t wait to visit again!

17/08/2026: My husband and son stop here often when they are visiting grandad. I came with them this time and everyone was super excited, because 'You really need to eat something here, it's delicious!'. They were not wrong. The food is fantastic and the place itself small, but wonderful. When we were on our way home my husband mentioned 'This is my favorite spot to take my dad for lunch or dinner' and I can see why. Funny thing, my Father in law said the same before we left, 'My favorite little fancy restaurant in the area, I love going here'. They sell local artists paintings and the food is presented beautifully. It's kind of like they are creating memories for people and they do it well ♥ I ordered the superfoods pizza with goats cheese, shaved roasted sweet potatoes, walnuts and a side order of sweet potato chips. It was very tasty, so I forgot to take photos of the inside of the place! Can't wait to go back! Would 10/10 recommend.

The food was delicious, fresh and beautifully presented, and there was a lovely atmosphere throughout the restaurant. The place felt warm and comfortable, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal. Overall, excellent food, great service and a lovely atmosphere. We really enjoyed our visit and would definitely recommend this restaurant and come back again.

16/09/2026: You came here for the steak. It is likely the best steak of your life. All of the sides (and we got pretty much one of everything) were wonderful too. I found I didn't use the pepper sauce - first time I had ever done that - but the seasoning was perfect and the steak didn't need it. We had a cocktail too - which was fine (and the serving of these was an event), but the real star was the meat. I look forward to going back soon.

05/09/2026: We went to celebrate a special occasion and the restaurant did not disappoint in any way! As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with sourdough and brown grain bread; they had a set menu that I highly recommend! Let's start with the starters: we chose the croquette with tomatoes (veg), I can't put it into words, creamy, flavorful, and comforting, wonderful 10/10. For the main course, we ordered the beef, which came at exactly the temperature we chose, and my husband was very happy with his choice. I asked for the vegetarian option, which wasn't on the menu; I asked the waiter, and that night we were served spinach tortellini with zucchini and shallots – an incredible mix of flavors! For dessert, I ordered a raspberry soufflé with pistachio ice cream, and my husband went for chocolate mousse. I think it's important to mention that the portions aren't absurdly large, but they are very filling! We ordered carrot sides, which are great for sharing. We couldn't finish everything, unfortunately, but it was very good. It was our first time there, and it was amazing. The wine list is very diverse and extremely affordable. I highly recommend going there!

02/09/2026: Small spot with a lot of ambience. We ordered the smashed cucumbers, vegetable dumplings, the broccoli and a rice special. The food was delicious, the host was really welcoming, and Marcus the bartender made the most delicious specialty cocktail. This was the friendliest service we’ve had the last two weeks between Scotland and Ireland. Thank you Marcus!
