The best restaurants

01/10/2025: We’ve come here every day this week and probably will come daily while in Galway. The latte, porridge, and scones are what we frequent. Still need to try the rest of menu.

28/09/2025: Great honest food. Something for ever

23/09/2025: We live in Kilkenny and this is our favourite restaurant. We have had family dinners (with teens), meeting friends and meals just as a couple - all wonderful. The food is lovely, great wine selection. The decor makes me feel like I am in Paris but it’s the fabulous service that keeps us coming back time and time again. Everyone there is so attentive, friendly and professional. Tvrtko (hoping I spelled this correctly) in particular is a gentleman and looks after us so well every time we are there. Highly recommend.

14/09/2025: I looooved this restaurant a lot. Wasn't expecting to find a jewel in Kilkenny from the get go. It was a random choice and such a lucky one. The food was a delight. Not only tasty, but artistically arranged. The staff is helpful, attentive and at the same time not distracting you from enjoying the food - nice balance here. And atmosphere is a separate joy. If I could, I would have given 6 stars😁. Fancy, darkish, stylish, tasteful. Pricing a bit on a high-medium side (about 50€ per person), but you expect that from a good restaurant. Lovely evening in a lovely place. And a definite recommendation for those, who visit Kilkenny.

16/09/2025: Visited tea and tales 2 with my daughters the week it first opened. Pia I believe her name is couldn't have been friendlier to my 2 daughters there still talking about the lovely women. Will definitely be back again had the bacon and chicken wrap was divine

04/09/2025: Tea and tails in Abbeyfeale serves beautifully meals and affordable .. Many different coffees . They are in business for many . They are located in the town square next to Paddy Powers betting office on the left hand side as traffic go to Kerry. They have opened a second Cafe in Church street Abbeyfeale . On the right hand side of the street as travelling to Kerry . The church is close to the cafe on the left hand side .. Abbeyfeale town free parking for the first hour .

21/10/2025: Went here for dinner and had a delicious meal. We were looked after by Nick and I have to say he was so so lovely, attentive and on the ball. Will be back!

08/09/2025: Didn't eat here BUT! 5 STARS! Traveling Internationally. Owner or manager saw us trying to pay for parking and we didn't have coins. He came out and paid the parking. Their restaurant wasn't open. This kind hospitality means they care about their food and service! Go to this restaurant for us!!!

22/09/2025: A nice place with a striking exterior and interior design and very kind service. I had an irish breakfast which was lovely.

20/09/2025: We decided to go for lunch on a Sunday to zone Killarney, and we tried their Asian chicken fried rice, beef fried rice and fried calamari and it was so perfectly cooked, the service was top notch. The staff who work there are also lovely people.

05/10/2025: Lunch on a monday was soo good.

19/10/2025: We were served undercooked rice in our risotto. Although risotto is Al Dente this rice was so undercooked we were picking crunchy bits from our teeth. The rest of our food was fine however the biggest complaint of the night is, that after we Informed then undercooked rice and the "tried to fix it" it came back undercooked again. After we didnt eat it considering the obvious health risks associated with raw rice they refused to take the price of the risotto off the bill. The staff/manager were actually really nice and understanding of our situation but obviously seemed under some sort of pressure from the owner, who they called to see if it was possible to remove the risotto from the bill which they refused. They then tried to tell me because nobody else complained about the risotto that night then our complaint was invalid(no longer nice and understanding) and because the chef/owner is from Italy ge knows what hes doing. Then when an obviously intoxicated woman on another table began shouting at us that we had clearly never eaten risotto or been to Italy(which added to the insanity of the situation) the management refused to address the fact we were now being charged for an undercooked meal and being berated by a drunk. Final point. Considering it probably cost the restaurant less than 2 euro to make a single plate of risotto, the owner is clearly a cheap cowboy who has no consideration for customers and zero accountability for the short comings of his restaurant.

03/10/2025: We had a special occasion and the owner and the staff made sure for everything to go perfect! From a 10/10 service, to absolutely delicious food, we had an amazing evening. A big thank you to this restaurant, will definitely come back to Bray just to eat their food again!

06/09/2025: Having heard so much but never visited before I was a little disappointed after paying the €10 fee in comparison to Kilmacurragh gardens which are free. The food in the AVOCA cafe is delicious and lots of lovely little shops in the square
