McDermott's Pub
14/04/2025: What a wonderful pub with great food and atmosphere. The special open face salmon sandwich with brown bread and a salad was excellent. Top it off with a pint of Guinness, and their warm chocolate granache will make for an excellent lunch. Thank you to the staff.
13/04/2025: This has been my favourite pub since visiting Ireland. The staff were amazing! I arrived on a very busy night for dinner, they found me a seat with a smile. My food arrived in record time and it was so good. It's a small place with lots of character, most of the patrons were locals. Highly recommended this pub if you're in Doolin.

The food is absolutely beyond words mouth watering taste would highly recommend the wings yet to try the rest off the menu but from looking around not a plate left empty credits to all in the chester beatty looking forward to many full stomachs ahead 🙌🙌🙌🙌

06/04/2025: Visiting from the west coast of Canada. Absolutely a fantastic little pub. The food was excellent. Chicken caesar salad and genuine fish and chips done to perfection. Chris is an outstanding host. He made you feel welcome as soon as he greeted you. Come early if you want the house dinner specials.

21/03/2025: My partner and myself had the pleasure of dining here last Sunday. It was absolutely amazing. Everything was perfect. The rump of lamp was like cutting into a fillet steak. Perfection.🥰

And we went and there were not many people there at the time that we arrived, but the staff again seemed frustrated that we did not have a reservation. The portions on most meals were very nice. I had a steak that was magnificent. Some people got the shrimp and were disappointed.

18/04/2025: Stopped in during our trip to Dublin for a pint of Guinness and loved the classic pub atmosphere — rich wood interiors, great service, and one of the best-poured pints we had in the city. We ended up returning later that night for their comedy show upstairs, and it was a brilliant decision. The lineup was hilarious, the room had a cozy, intimate feel, and the vibe was spot-on. A perfect blend of old-school charm and lively entertainment. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a proper Dublin pub experience with a little something extra!

13/04/2025: We had some calamari for starter and a Cold Seafood Platter to share. Everything was delicious. Definitely recommend and will be back to try other dishes.

29/03/2025: I had BBQ chicken, Salt and pepper chicken, Caramel chicken, and Sweet and sour chicken. Each one was flavorful and well-prepared, with the BBQ chicken being the standout and absolutely delicious. Generous servings too!
I added curry sauce on top which wasn’t needed. Highly recommend the place!
