27/07/2025: A lovely little Indian spot tucked away in Blackrock Market. Finding it can be a bit tricky—just walk through the market from the main street and keep going until you spot it. It’s a small place with around 10–12 tables and a cozy indoor-outdoor setup. I tried the beef roast, which was absolutely amazing! The chaat was decent, but nothing special. We went on a Friday afternoon, so the menu was a bit limited. The owner was incredibly sweet and mentioned that there’s a wider selection available on weekends. Overall, great vibe, friendly service, and worth a visit—especially if you’re around on the weekend.

25/07/2025: Scoozis is one of our favourite restaurants in Cork city. As a coeliac, I especially appreciate their range of gluten-free options. The food is always delicious, the service is so quick and the staff are so friendly and welcoming.

04/08/2025: I went there especially on bank holiday to order breakfast-16.95. When I asked to replace the black pudding and tomato with an extra sausage he simply said no I have to pay an extra 2.50. So that’s like almost €20 . I said what about the black pudding and tomatoes. He said they can’t take the price off it but have to pay 18.95 still. I said no thanks and went to mad yolks instead .

09/08/2025: We came in for lunch, and everything was amazing! The food is great, there is an option for 20% discount on the meals ordered before 4pm. Staff is super nice, polite and attentive!

23/08/2025: A well-maintained restaurant in one of Cork's busiest areas. The food leans toward traditional fare with a twist. The Scotch Eggs are good but overly spicy, while the meat-based main courses are excellent. The service is fast and attentive. Recommended if you're passing through. (We didn't have to book.)

21/08/2025: The prawn starter was fantastic. Unfortunately the mains was not as good. The fries were obviously blanched several times and were greasy and yellow. There was senior waiter on duty with an obviously inexperienced waitress who was doing a good job but he made it known she was in training to some if the patrons which was bad form. Everyone starts somewhere so I gave her the tip directly.

13/08/2025: A Fantastic venue located in Ballincollig Cork City. We visited today I had the corned beef absolutely delicious. I will definitely return.

23/08/2025: I recently visited Taste of Italy in Arklow — and it turned out to be a real gem! 🇮🇹 The atmosphere is warm and cozy, and the owners welcome you as if you were an old friend. 🍝 Food — authentic homemade Italian cuisine. Pasta, ravioli, and soups are full of flavor and clearly made with care and passion. 🍰 Desserts — absolutely outstanding. The Sicilian tiramisu and cannoli are light, delicate, and full of taste. You can immediately tell they are handmade with love. ☕ Coffee — probably the best in town! Strong, aromatic, and perfect when paired with a dessert, especially if you sit by the window overlooking the river. 🌟 Overall: A little corner of Italy in Arklow. I will definitely come back and highly recommend it! Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)

09/08/2025: €8 glass of wine and I it looked like half a glass. €8 bottle of wine in aldi. I wont be going there again. Service was good, people where nice, but when your making that much profit would expect a smile 😃

06/08/2025: Stopped here for a quick lunch. Everything was top notch! Would, amd will, 100% come back. The veggie bowl, meatball sub, adm brisket sandwich were tasty and the portions were incredible. The cookies were quite good, as well. Service was impeccable! The only thing I would improve is the seating. It needs more.

05/08/2025: Such a charming pub. The hand made furniture outside is really nice. A bit of live music on the weekend during the summer. The midges ate me alive outside but sure what can you do

31/07/2025: I had a full Irish breakfast earlier. Such great value for 12 euro, it is absolutely huge. The food is fresh, tasty and so filling. The owners seem like lovely people too. There is a very nice vibe in this cafe. I am already looking forward to my next visit.
