12/07/2026: A cute place with loads of places to sit. The matcha was really good, the only down side is it was really sweet. It would be nice if they asked because I honestly assumed it wouldn’t be sweetened. Apart from that a really chill place.

24/06/2026: Best matcha I’ve ever had and still ever had. With the lavender syrup and a good balance you can taste the matcha with the subtle sweetness from the syrup making it a beautiful made matcha latte.

21/05/2026: Lovely stay at the Mespil. Great rooms and excellent breakfast. Quite location (15-20 minutes from centre) but plenty of great restaurants around.

04/08/2026: Friendly staff. Minimal portion. We came for a bite to eat around 4 pm, so we didn't want a main course. We ordered the Caesar salad starter for €14. The taste was good, but this was a really small portion. There were barely 3 small pieces of chicken in it. A shame.

07/08/2026: Absolutely wonderful. Friday night, fast service, low key hang out. Lovely atmosphere. The Mussels are Soooo delicious and you get such a huge amount. Couldn’t finish them!

08/06/2026: Lovely little place in the centre of Kinsale. Brilliant sirloin, excellent scallops (with the surf and turf), nice wine selection by glass or bottle, fabulous frites, and the service is op-notch. Recommended, especially as a special occasion dinner.

26/05/2026: Great small restaurant. No reservation, but very accommodating for the two of us. Steaks were great, desert a serious - WOW! Very pleasant waitstaff. Busy so we waited - but we like busy, we know it’s good!

21/07/2026: There were six of us for dinner. Four of us had their specialty spit-roast pork which was fabulous. One of us had the Pithivier and said it deserved a round of applause. All of us really enjoyed the meal and our server, Ash, was knowledgeable, friendly and helpfully adapted the menu to accommodate a dairy allergy. Staff were all friendly and professional. This place is popular. We went at 7.30 on a Monday evening and there were no free tables therfore woukd recommend booking ahead for dinner.

21/07/2026: We were luck to get in without a reservation, and were we glad that we did. The food and service are superb. Ruibin is top notch.

16/07/2026: Exceptional oysters and sea bass. The service was perfect. Worth the stop in Galway.
