23/03/2025: Wish I had taken pictures of (and in) this place. Seems to be nothing online, and they do not have a website which I feel would help them exponentially. Service was standard, nothing outstanding about it. Only thing I would change is for checkout, you have to go to the bar and tell them your table number to get checked out which is a bit odd. It seems more conducive for the waiter/waitress to bring the check over. Food was great. Again, no menu that I can find on the non-existent website.... but I essentially had a roast duck with roasted veggies and Garlic Mashed potatoes on the side. Everything was great. Hadnt had duck in something like 10 years, so figured I would give it a try.

16/03/2025: I don't know how to express how special this stay was. The beautiful castle is like stepping into another era, the staff are universally exceptional - warm, welcoming, professional and exceptionally hard working. Staying here was an experience I'll never forget and I hope I can go back for every special occasion I have to celebrate! The restaurant is worth travelling to whether you stay or not - I've only had this level of service, food & atmosphere simultaneously a handful of times in my life. The rooms are luxury and elegance. The bed, pillows and linen were a cocoon after a long drive, and the next morning I woke up at dawn to birdsong. Treat yourself to a stay here; it's an experience that's become almost extinct.

25/02/2025: We came here to check out the venue before our wedding - we had a fabulous room. The beds were so comfy and the breakfast was delicious 😋 The staff are very friendly and helpful and the bar serves a great pint of Guinness!

29/03/2025: De vuelta a Antica Venezia para otra comida encantadora, en lo que se ha convertido en uno de nuestros restaurantes favoritos. El personal aquí es tan agradable - un saludo muy cálido en la puerta, seguido de un servicio por personal amable y servicial. ¡Y luego la comida! Después de un fin de semana en Roma hace unos años, somos bastante particulares sobre la comida que nos sirven en los restaurantes italianos irlandeses. Antica Venezia es muy bueno, y esto se evidencia por el pleno de la casa el viernes por la noche - apenas un asiento disponible. Disfrutamos mucho de nuestra noche - el personal - la comida y el vino - toda la experiencia. Muy bien hecho y muy recomendable.

23/03/2025: Can't say enough about this place. Family run. They go out of their way to welcome you and ensure your dining experience is top notch. Food is of excellent quality and v tasty. Wine delicious too. As friends we frequent this restaurant a few times a year. It won't disappoint. Elizabeth

13/04/2025: Hayfield Manor was a phenomenal choice for our wedding. They absolutely exceeded all of my very high expectations. The staff were very friendly, eager to help, the food tasted amazing, the decor and cleanliness of the hotel are unparalleled. They made every effort to make our entire stay at Hayfield Manor wonderful. Jolisha, the wedding planner, nailed every detail that I asked for. John, the manager, went above and beyond in making our entire family feel welcome. I could not recommend Hayfield enough and I will never forget the level of service we received. Thank you to all the staff! From the gentlemen at the door, the servers in the fine dining room, and all the others- you are fantastic. Thank you for a joyful wedding!

10/04/2025: Was in a rush last day in cork it was an amazing menu I struggled to eat number 3 on the menu and just recapping on my visit I did not realize there was moor to the menu the service was very professional the food was well presented the quality of the food was fresh and taste full it has a very high hygiene quality and I will make time to visit again and again on my next cork trips plus the atmosphere from staff and other customers was very welcoming and it was also roomy

17/03/2025: This restaurant is a bit outside Dublin’s city center, but definitely worth the visit. The food was very fresh, clearly made from high-quality ingredients, and tasted great. We had a medium-rare steak with mashed potatoes, which was cooked just right, as well as a flavorful risotto. Everything was well-prepared, and the dessert was a nice finish to the meal. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and welcoming without being overbearing. The restaurant itself has a cozy and quiet atmosphere, making it a nice place to enjoy a relaxed meal. If you’re looking for a spot with good food and a comfortable setting, this is a great choice. Would definitely recommend!

26/03/2025: Staff are friendly but not overbearing. Food is delicious, a must visit for anyone who loves authentic Italian food. Their tiramisu is AMAZING and the aperol spritz is pretty good too 😋

29/03/2025: Had a truly exceptional meal last night in the Point Seafood Bar last night. I had the prawns and my friends, the Roman Style Hake. The food was simply sublime. Added to that the atmosphere is exceptional and the staff were incredible, including the host EJ O'Neill, chatting and making us feel very welcome. Garry, Red and Lorna

14/03/2025: One of my favourite spots in all of Ireland! It’s unreal. The food, simple, fresh, absolute quality, the atmosphere is perfect too. Then with EJ and the crew being the cherry on top, creating something very special indeed. Open crab sandwich is honestly best I’ve ever had. And the oysters couldn’t be more local. That with a pint of Guinness and an Irish coffee, and I’m in my happy place.

17/02/2025: Great option if you are in the area. We have eaten Japanese curry, chicken timbale and waffle, chicken gyozas, truffled potatoes and a hamburger; Everything was great, we were looking forward to trying more things.

25/03/2025: The service was very bad. Asked for bread five times and at then end they said that the kitchen forgot. The communication with employees was very bad. They didn't even care about the customer.
