26/05/2025: Qué comida fantástica en el Old Spot - el servicio era brillante y el personal es tan servicial y amable - Adrian nos sirvió y al final de la comida me sentí como si todos fuéramos mejores amigos. La comida era deliciosa, el servicio era excelente - tenía el asado del domingo que se cocinó a la perfección, todos los ingreidents 5 estrellas. Un ambiente encantador y ocupado, pero no ruidoso - zonas de estar cómodas resaltar - los aros de cebolla de cuerda que se recomendaron eran deliciosos.

25/05/2025: Optó por el almuerzo Carvery (carne asada) absolutamente salvaje ... todo era de primera categoría. Compartimos las croquetas el atún y los músculos de pil pil para empezar... no me puedo mover estoy pegado a la silla... enormes porciones deliciosas... cielo

04/06/2025: I have eaten in this place twice the first time was amazing i couldn't fault them. The cocktails were delicious in the winter and the tasting menu with the venison was amazing it was winter. The 2nd time was bad I cancelled 1 reservation at another restaurant to go to them and I regret it. The food wasn't as good it was the spring tasting menue. They changed the cocktails and they weren't as good as the ones I had in winter. The food was just meh and some of it was not nice. So I don't know if it is just that tasting menu or not

19/05/2025: Overall poor experience. Service is appalling for a fine dining. The ambiance is null, looks like you are in a commercial unit with a bar in the middle. The food was ok, but the menu tasting lacks direction in terms of flavours and continuity. Desserts were mediocre. It seems a want to be fine dining bistro that misses class and refinement.

28/04/2025: A pizzeria that understands that more is not better.

08/04/2025: First stop on a trip to Ireland in this pizzeria/bar (the 2 businesses seem to be merged), with a magnificent terrace! The place seems very busy, the pizzas are very good and accompanied by beers from the neighboring bar it's perfect!

25/05/2025: I had a lovely time at Musashi noodle and sushi bar. I ordered the spicy chicken ramen and it was delicious! So much flavour and the perfect spice level. The service was very friendly and efficient and I felt very welcome.

27/05/2025: First dinner in Kinsale and Ireland and it was incredible.We were sat at a table in the covered terrace by the big open fireplace.The cooked oysters lobster and black sole were perfectly cooked so fresh - even the green salad was a highlight with the mix of leaves and dressing and such friendly efficient staff

26/05/2025: The food was ok although Fishy Fishy across the harbor is much better. The hake was good and salad was fresh. Nothing out of the ordinary or extraordinary.

29/05/2025: Loved Danny Mac’s. Got to meet Danny Mac Jr, who came to our table and gave us our food to give the waitress a hand. Everyone seemed to know him and he greeted everyone cheerfully. Daughter got hamburger, husband had ribs and I had the chicken fingers (which are called something like Chicken Dojas in Ireland) and everything was great! Especially the fries. Service was fast, place was clean, everyone seemed to be in a good mood. Definitely a fun, family-friendly place to go for dinner. We were bummed that we only discovered Lahinch at the end of our vacation, bc it seemed like a fun place to spend a day just walking around, shopping and going to the coast to see surfers and sheep in the same area.

17/05/2025: Wonderfully prepared, and served meals at regular prices. I loved the atmosphere. The staff are excellent. Its the sort of place you can get away from the world, enjoy with loved ones, write a novel, design a prototype for a new device capable of saving the planet....I m currently working on the last one!

02/06/2025: Stopped in skibbereen for lunch and found this amazing restaurant in tje town centre. We hadn't booked but they managed to find us a lovely table for 2 upstairs. My wife said her fresh fish and chips was the best she had ever eaten, as for my large portion of mussels in white creamy garlic sauce absolutely fantastic.

02/06/2025: --- ## The Church Restaurant, Skibbereen: A Delicious Taste of Asia! What a delightful surprise to find **The Church Restaurant in Skibbereen** offering such exceptional Asian cuisine! After a few weeks away from home, I was truly craving those familiar, comforting flavours, and The Church absolutely delivered. I tried the Pad Thai and it hit the spot! The other dishes were also packed with authentic taste, fresh ingredients, and clearly prepared with skill and care. The beef was also great and service exceptional staff making sure we were well looked after and meeting our dining requests. Hospitality unbelievable but busy as the place was fully booked when we ate there. Beyond the wonderful food, the setting in the converted church adds a unique and memorable ambiance to the dining experience.

30/05/2025: The PERFECT Irish pub. The owner Mike and his staff were incredibly friendly, the atmosphere was amazing and the music was great! If I were local I would be there almost every night...

29/05/2025: Very attentive owner, who shows off his offspring to their seats and brings beers to them. Live music over the loudspeakers. Wonderful

30/05/2025: Just a simple salad but it oozed flavours and chicken skewers from the tapas menu .. just perfect for a summer’s evening and of course a glass of vino… leave me here

18/05/2025: We went to the Peppermill on our 12th day in Ireland. And this is one of my favorite places we have ate at. The atmosphere is light and cheery, the food is beautifully plated and tastes delicious. If you are there definitely get the dessert also! All food is homemade!
