Mamó
Dublin
25/04/2026: Michelin recommended , well deserved!
The freshness and quality of the fish were on another level… I’m still dreaming about the kingfish. It had a unique combination of flavours that made the fish stand out without being overpowering.
I’m not usually a pasta lover, but the tortelli dish is something I had never tried before. It was smooth, and everything around it was so well balanced.
I highly recommend it!
The service was excellent. The atmosphere felt just right, as there are only a few tables, which creates a nice balance between privacy and a shared, lively setting
The lighting was warm, which makes the evening and the harbour view even more enjoyable.
We had an amazing time — one of the nicest places we’ve been to in Dublin.
Thank you!
18/04/2026: Fantastic experience! Service is impeccable and every dish was good to excellent. A lovely way to end a day in Howth.

Murphy's Ice Cream
Galway
15/04/2026: Such good ice cream! We were greeted by a wonderful individual who offered us a taste of anything we would like! Def would recommend if your looking for a little sweet. Flavours were fun and unique
08/04/2026: SO GOOD.
I don’t get ice cream very often. The flavors sound a little niche for me, but every one that I tried was the perfect amount of flavor, creamy, and delicious. Irish cream lacked a little flavor but was still delicious, peanut butter, and sea salt were extremely good. I’d be back if we were staying another night in Galway. Staff are laid back, chill, friendly, offer excellent recommendations, and are extremely efficient in getting samples while you’re waiting in line. They aren’t pushy and open to your trying any number of samples. If there is a line, it’s worth the wait!

DeVille's

25/03/2026: Food is top class. I had a memorable meal with 4 friends recently. All were very happy with the food. My lamb was delicious.
The wine selection is excellent, but one would need deep pockets for the top-end offers.
Staff are knowledgeable, professional and friendly.

Caffe Letterario GattaNera
Bray
22/04/2026: A very charming little café with great service, beautiful cat decorations, a bookshelf, and fresh, delicious food. As cat lovers, we immediately felt at home and enjoyed the ambiance. My cappuccino was excellent, as was my companion's Americano. The salad we ordered, with Parmesan, olives, seeds, sun-dried tomatoes, and mixed greens, was served with toasted baguette and a flavorful dressing.
Overall, a lovely experience. The service was very friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy.
It was a great way to start our time in Bray. Thank you!
22/03/2026: Very nice service and great food! If you are in Bray definitely recommend this gem 🐈⬛

The Tavern Bar & Restaurant
Westport
11/04/2026: Our small wedding at The Tavern was nothing short of perfection. I’d recommend this venue to anyone seeking an elevated tavern experience in an incredible, scenic location in the west of Ireland. Our guests still rave to us about the food! The lamb, the sea bass, the stuffed chicken, the pistachio cheesecake, and everything that graced our table was flawless. Several guests told us it was the best wedding meal they had ever had! I recommend requesting the olive tapenade.
The manager was an absolute dream to work with and essentially worked as our wedding coordinator for the day. She went above and beyond in every way, from decorating the room (we hadn’t planned on adding anything!) to coordinating our band. I didn’t doubt for a moment that she’d take care of everything.
We opted to have our meal in the upstairs dining room (perfect for a party of 40–50 people) and our band in the pub downstairs after dinner. This was perfect for us, as it allowed for a seamless transition from dinner to music and dancing. Our guests were able to relax at the bar or a table right next to the dancing area, which allowed for dancers or mingle-at-table types to effortlessly interact with one another—something that’s often missed at other weddings!
And if you’re looking for an impressive view, you can’t get much better than the drive out to The Tavern. Croagh Patrick towers above Clew Bay, providing plenty of photo opportunities en route to the venue. At the restaurant itself, there’s a lovely outdoor seating area with views of the bay, and the interiors are a lovely mix of dark woods with light walls—pub-style, but bright enough for your wedding day! And a pink pub? Can you get any cuter than that?
Overall it was a 10/10 experience and our dream wedding day. Our only regret is we can’t do it all again.
08/04/2026: Very nice with very attentive and friendly staff.

Ivy Cottage
21/04/2026: Cosy, lovely cottage restaurant that serves amazing food. One of the best meal I had in Ireland. Staff were fantastic. Highly recommend!
20/04/2026: Had a lovely lunch with my family last Sunday at The Ivy Cottage. Food was amazing, fish and chips with a light batter and so tasty! Chowder and Crab Claw were also so special. We bought a loaf of the bread they serve with the Chowder, a soda bread with different spices, so tasty! Staff was beyond friendly, so kind and efficient! We felt very welcomed specially because they were so kind to our little doggy.

The Tower Cafe
Dublin
20/01/2026: It's always special to learn about our history. Our tour guide is a credit to the cemetery and experience of the tour, so much passion and Indepth stories of every grave we visited . Would highly recommend it.
18/01/2026: The reason this is worth the visit is the tour. Small group, expert guide 22 euro. You're taken to grave sites in a kind of historical order and given stories for each person woven into the history of Ireland. Be sure to grab a pint at the Gravediggers after the tour. The coffee shop an interprerative center are next level. Parking is cheap too. This is insanely worth it.
