23/05/2026: Edit: I’ve been coming to Zakura on Upper Baggot St for 4years. I celebrate all my bdays here, and all my anniversaries. Every single time the food is amazing. But I really want to say thank you to all the staff, they are extremely attentive, nice, friendly. Like they make you feel special on every meal. Cannot recommend more (: Thank you!!! 25/05/2026: Back in Dublin for a few days, stumbled upon this awesome restaurant! 1) super friendly staff..I.mean, they really make you feel welcome, no pressure, and they give you ample time to look at the menu, and will explain anything before you order. The Asahi beer was cold and tasty!! Then came the meal..man, was I in for a wonderful treat and surprise!! The food was served HOT and the best tasting meal ever!! We are coming back tomorrow for lunch. I highly recommend this restaurant! Sometimes you really fair better when you veer off the main street. Should you find yourself in Dublin, give this place a try. I promise you wont regret it!! Thanks

We made a mistake while ordering (didn’t read the menu right haha) and the waitress was very very kind and understanding and offered to remake the meal without the food aversion. Really really appreciated that despite it being very much our fault. Will return again :) Can’t remember her name but she was blonde, but huge shutout to her for being so kind !

23/05/2026: Excellent breakfast here. Really tasty and good value. Had full breakfast and eggs benedict. Both lovely. Plenty of extra toast and a very filling plateful. Staff very friendly too. Second visit here 4 years after the first. Still excellent, good friendly service and outstanding food.

31/05/2026: We like to escape Dublin on weekends, so we choose more remote restaurants. We chose The Ballymore Inn very well. We were pleasantly surprised. The service is top-notch, the food is very delicious. I recommend visiting.
