16/05/2025: Excellent experience in restaurants and spa on multiple occasions. Would highly recommend a visit.

16/05/2025: My wife and I were there in the summer of 2022 along with our daughter, her husband and their children. After spending eight days in different parts of Ireland, this was our last stop for two nights and it was the most magnificent! The entire staff was extremely cordial. The decor was elegant. The Orchid Restaurant was a total culinary delight. In fact on our second night, we decided not to go on it anywhere else because we enjoyed it so much. My father‘s parents came from Cork and this was a dream to spend my last two nights in Ireland at the Hayfield Manor. God willing, I will return.

09/06/2025: Went for the early bird at 5pm and it was great value for the quality of food which was really really high. Service was attentive but not over bearing. Would definitely recommend making a reservation as it got full very quickly and this was on a Monday evening.

06/06/2025: Today I ordered a beef fillet, juicy and seasoned, very tasty. I'll be back. I also ordered a tiramisu dessert, very tasty; I've never tasted anything like it. Thank you all. I'll recommend it to friends.

20/05/2025: We went around 3.30 pm after us ringing to find out times .We got our food that looked ok to start with .I had a burger which I have to say it was so hard I could not put a knife through it .I told the staff which said the could not take it off the bill but would take off the child's dinner .she was not very friendly . I have been there before and had lovely food so was disappointed. I went in to hotel and told them which they said would ring me back but I'm still waiting.Its such a shame.

17/04/2025: I was so lucky to receive a tour of the castle hotel! Carol was incredibly knowledgeable and we talked informally for an hour about Irish history as it related to the Knox-Gore Family and their residence over time including during the Great Famine and after their departure (i.e., the tuberculosis sanatorium, military barracks, and ultimately hotel, venue, and museum). After our insightful conversation, she took me on a tour of Marshall Doran’s exceptionally eclectic collections including geology, Irish history, and weaponry. I loved being able to feel the weight of the weapons from the medieval period and seeing an executioner’s sword limited to use for beheading gentlemen was quite the education!

20/05/2025: We ordered food from Masala kitchen for our Holi party . The service from start to finish was extremely professional. Food was the highlight , every single thing reminded of Delhi ka khana , his dahi bhallas are probably one of the best we have had outside of India. Keep up the fab work Vishal !

12/05/2025: We recently used Masala Kitchen for a catered event, and the food was absolutely amazing! Every dish was bursting with authentic flavor, beautifully presented, and served fresh. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the quality and taste. Highly recommend Masala Kitchen if you’re looking for top-notch Indian catering.

09/05/2025: As ever, food and service were excellent great but the kindness of one staff member will be a lovely memory after today's visit. One of our quartet is suffering the ailments of old age and the waiter couldn't have been more helpful, respectful and it was heartwarming to witness.

04/06/2025: Really friendly, great service. Just had vegan breakfast, yummy, super tasty. Most things can be made vegan, very helpful. Great coffee too

04/06/2025: A great breakfast spot in Stoney Batter. A wee bit expensive but other than that it was great. It was quite a busy place but we had great service. We enjoyed our breakfast and the coffee was good as well. Definitely check out this wonderful neighborhood spot!

17/05/2025: We had a fabulous meal at the Narrow Quarter. The food was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The service was excellent, Brianna was absolutely fantastic and so attentive. Would highly recommend.

17/05/2025: Really enjoyable birthday dinner. Ruth was a delight, and so helpful when it came to choosing from the menu and the specials. Food was divine. We had Mushroom Bruschetta and prawns to start, beef and gnocchi with brownie and lemon posset to finish. Highly recommend.

26/05/2025: Selina era increíble! La selección de whisky increíble! ¡Sin duda vale la pena parar! Me encanta este lugar y las opciones de comida son perfectas un bocado ligero o lleno en la comida!

25/05/2025: Tuvimos la suerte de conseguir una reserva de última hora en el bar Celtic Whiskey. Y nuestra experiencia allí fue maravillosa. Nuestro servidor Selina estaba muy ocupado, pero también muy paciente con nuestras preguntas sobre el extenso menú de bebidas. Ella siempre regresaba a nuestra mesa después de prometer que lo haría, e incluso uno de los empleados del bar que conduce clases de whisky / cóctel vino a responder algunas preguntas. Sugirió probar uno de sus whiskys que se produce en cooperación con Teeling y solo está disponible en el bar Killarney y en las tiendas de Dublín. Además de la amplia carta de whisky y cócteles, el restaurante de pescado y patatas fritas era delicioso. Este lugar es genial, ya sea para una experiencia gastronómica que está un paso por encima del pub típico, y una necesidad para cualquiera interesado en una verdadera y memorable experiencia de whisky irlandés.

23/05/2025: Our local friends brought us to this lovely bakery during our visit. Great selection of coffee, bread, and pastries with innovative twists on the classics. We tried a handful of pastries and they all tasted divine. The knafeh-flavoured pain suisse topped with shredded phyllo was nothing short of ingenious. Happy to see small bakeries like Noisette thriving outside of the big towns and shall attest Noisette as one of the best bakeries in Éire. Protect this local gem at all costs!

13/05/2025: Fabulous bakery with delicious coffee. We got a treat to share and the guy at the cashier had no problem cutting it up for us to make it easy to share. Lovely friendly service!

24/04/2025: When we moved to Dalkey, we tried Jaipur within a week or two and have been eating from there regularly ever since, simply fantastic and will not be rivaled.
