02/08/2025: Such a lovely place to go for a meal All courses were just lovely and the atmosphere and service was great I booked on line and had said about my wife's allergies and when we were seated the waiter let us know that he and the kitchen were aware of the allergies This was a first for us and made the dining experience all the more enjoyable Would highly recommend and the price was in line with most places

19/07/2025: Booked a big table (17 people). Food was class and the service was savage. The staff are outrageously sound.

20/08/2025: The staff is friendly and helpful, WiFi and sockets are provided, the matcha milk is delicious, the environment is comfortable, and it is very suitable for taking pictures. The little bears spent a pleasant evening here.

17/08/2025: I had a wonderful experience at People’s Restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish full of flavour and clearly made with care. The staff were very attentive and made us feel well looked after throughout the meal. The ambiance was calm and relaxing, perfect for enjoying good food and company. I especially loved the homemade desserts, a real treat to finish off the evening. Overall, excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

14/08/2025: As a regular, this is one of my top coffee spots in the city. A coffee & scone is my choice, served warm with fruit compote, fresh cream and sliced strawberry. Absolutely divine, nobody could be disappointed with this gem. Staff are so friendly, the owner, a genuine nice guy with a smile and greeting for all. A+

18/08/2025: Fantastic dinner the other night. The menu is so different. I was sceptical at first as to how they can do sushi, basque, sri lankan dishes etc etc without messing something up. They nailed every dish. We ordered six or seven dishes between four of us. I cannot say which I like the best. Would love a place like this in Dublin! The staff were lovely too. We'll be back.

10/08/2025: Went here with friends. The food was all nice but some dishes were quite expensive for tapas eg. €17 for 3 scallops. The Basque Cheesecake was beautiful as a dessert and we had it crème brûléed too, so I recommend to save room and try it. Service was a bit slow at the start but when the food started to come out it flowed fine. One issue was that our white wine was not chilled and given in a wine bucket that wasn’t chilled or had any ice in it. When this was brought to the attention of the waitress we weren’t offered another chilled wine and she just gave us ice for the bucket. It really did take away from the experience to not have properly chilled white wine with the meal. Overall though nice food.

20/08/2025: We went in for breakfast and were served by Josselyne, who was very attentive and friendly and helped us choose the best vegetarian option. The entire service was excellent.

01/08/2025: O’Neill’s doesn’t need my endorsement, as they are packed to the gills (sorry) every night. We loved the place so much, though, that I want to say so publicly. Also want to urge non-locals not to miss it. Waits are long, but an hour waiting for a table here — with a pint or two, surrounded by welcoming locals and regulars — is more pleasant than a “Right this way,” at most restaurants. The host and staff are so kind and good-humored, and the waiting crowd equally so. I had more nice chats with strangers than I have in a month in the U.S. The seafood, once you get it, is also surpassingly delicious. I’m from the American Northeast, but this was probably the best Atlantic lobster I’ve ever had, as well as some of the best oysters, best crab claws, best cold crab salad… We ended up returning several times and I have no regrets that we didn’t branch out more. Time spent eating and loitering here is an immersion in several of the things that make Ireland, and Kerry, very special.

01/08/2025: Despite all the positive reviews here, I wouldn't recommend it. The food is home-style cooking at best, but it's quite expensive. The wines are mediocre. The place is cramped, packed, and very loud.

21/07/2025: My wife and I just spent 2.5 days in the County Clare region near the cliffs of Moher. On the recommendation of our accommodations host, we decided to try Dodi. Be advised that depending on the time of day there may be a bit of a wait. There’s but a handful of tables, but usually the wait wasn’t more than 10-15 minutes as people move in and out pretty quickly. First impressions were that the staff were all super nice and friendly, and wanted to make sure we were taken care of. As soon as you’re seated they bring some menus offer you a craft of water and say they’ll be back to take your order, and surely they do. My wife and I got the eggs over greens and added the bacon, and the eggs were perfectly poached, and the bacon was so tender but at the same time crispy and so good. I love Irish bacon! We also ordered lattes and cappuccinos and we must say they make the best we’ve had in Ireland thus far. We’re originally from Seattle, so that’s high marks!! Now, in my opinion the star of the show was the scone with butter and raspberry jam! I think I could seriously live off of them! They are perfectly crumbly and soft, and the butter is amazing, paired with locally crafted raspberry jam. Service and food, everything was top notch and so good; that we repeated it the NEXT day! My only small gripe is… it’s a sauna in there. Anyway, if you’re in town, do yourself the favor and go to Dodi, maybe even go back the next day!

13/08/2025: Excellent pub for a beer and lunch in the center of Dublin. The food was delicious, and the service was unbeatable. The atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxed, mostly made up of locals. Highly recommended.
