The best restaurants

20/05/2026: I had read about this restaurant prior to our trip ti Ireland and knew I had to dine here! I did book 4 month in advance and so glad I did. The seafood was outstanding. The menu changes based on the seafood caught. They bring the billboard to your table and place on a chair for you to choose from. Service is wonderful and you are able to sit and enjoy your dinner. A must stop in Dingle!

17/05/2026: Finally, a restaurant near the sea that serves fresh fish! The setting is pleasant, and the staff is welcoming and attentive. The cuisine is refined; the fish (scorpionfish and halibut) are of extraordinary quality, and their cooking is precise and excellent. The famous "bouille à baisse" is a remarkable nod to French cuisine. The starters and main courses are generous... too much to even try the dessert menu! But the Irish Coffee was still the perfect ending to this delicious meal. We had a very pleasant evening at Out of the Blue. The atmosphere was pleasant and warm, allowing us to chat about Ireland with our two table neighbors.

20/01/2026: Lovely food and service. Booked a catering for 30 people. The food was really delicious, everyone liked it very much. And the quantity was good as well. I really liked the service, the utensils were also provided by Vishal to heat the food. I have a very good experience with the food and service, will recommend it for sure.

18/01/2026: We ordered for 18 people, the 19eu menu with a mix of veg and non veg varieties, it was worth the price. Vishal is very easy to communicate and professional all through the process. Delicious food with decent amount and a variety of options. The dessert Rasamalai is the highlight of all, malai Kofta is yum. Thanks Vishal and team for all your work. Highly recommended for excellent variety of Indian food.

14/06/2026: Really enjoyed the food in an impromptu late lunch. The kids really enjoyed the food and the ambience was great all round. Tiger beer on tap was a nice surpise too !

09/05/2026: My boyfriend and I are visiting from the US and went here for dinner and drinks. We had such a kind server and absolute great service. The food was delicious and beautifully presented! We spent some time at the bar afterwards as per our servers recommendation and had a great time. The location is beautiful as well, 10/10 would recommend!

08/05/2026: I ordered the Calamari, it wasnt what I expected, the aioli i wasn't sure what flavour it was in it, the salad was limp with no real flavour, the fries were not house made.

26/05/2026: Great spot to meet and eat. We go there for breakfast. My only issue is on a sunny summer morning you should be able to choose to sit out even if you are one of the first to be there.

16/06/2026: Went here for dinner while visiting Lisdoonvarna. It was very busy for dinner but we were lucky enough to only wait 10 minutes for a table. The food was so tasty and flavoursome. They also brew their own beers which are great! We came back for lunch a few days later for the beef & stout pie & mash which didn't disappoint. Definitely recommend booking ahead during busy times.

14/06/2026: A great local pub with friendly staff and great local people! Great beer, and the local musicians were brilliant!! I ventured in every night I stayed in Cohb. 4 nights and every evening was excellent 👍

04/06/2026: This place will always have a special place in my heart, because I found out I got Irish citizenship right before walking in! I had been wanting to visit The Roaring Donkey but the timing never worked out when I was in Cobh. I was there the other day, walking around Cobh, planning to head into the Roaring Donkey when they opened at 4:00, and I got the life-changing email that I got Irish citizenship. This brought about A LOT of emotions and I went into the pub and absolutely unloaded on Aisling, the loveliest human being I could have encountered in that moment. I was upset because of other circumstances that were at play and she completely calmed me down and encouraged me and told me everything would work out and brought out the joy that I had that this has finally happened for me after years of trying! It was the perfect place to celebrate with a pint of Guinness, the lovely Aisling, and a local named George who was very congratulatory towards me as well. I'm so glad I went in despite being a crying mess. My visit to The Roaring Donkey completely turned everything around and I left feeling overjoyed. Thank you Aisling and George!

01/05/2026: Nice spot , lots of breakfast options with beautiful tea or coffee. Atmosphere is pleasant and prices are very affordable. Can get stuffy when busy.

20/05/2026: Great historical place, staff are brilliant and they are very happy to be able to help with any questions you may have.

07/05/2026: Really interesting tour of the cemetery, Niall Oman was our guide and he was extremely knowledgeable and made it very enjoyable. The only negative point is that all the information and signs for the exhibition inside the visitors' centre are in English only, no Gaeilge.
