The best restaurants

25/09/2026: We ate a gorgeous meal from a very varied menu ( fish curry and rhubarb and custard baked cheesecake- my dream meal). The staff were exceptional- friendly, warm, helpful and light. The setting is comfortable but glam : the perfect mix. Highly recommended and i can't wait to go back.

01/09/2026: Myself and my wife recently booked The Back Bar in The Ballymore Inn for the afters of our son's Christening. It was top class from start to finish. Not only was the organisation spot on from Sean but the level of service provided by Cait, Abbie and Aidan on the day was top notch. The finger food just like the food in general in The Ballymore Inn restaurant was excellent and all our guests spoke so highly of their experience on the day. Also a shout out to Paul who usually manages things in the restaurant for popping in to make sure everything was running smoothly. If your looking to book the Back Bar for an upcoming family function, I would highly recommend getting in touch with Sean and the team. You will not be disappointed.

13/09/2026: This place is really special.. My wife and I enjoyed the taster menu immensely. The fusion of different flavours in each course was incredible. Our waiter Dan was very engaging and attentive adding to the enjoyment of the meal. We would highly recommend Bastible.

30/08/2026: Great pub, even with old bar booths with direct serving hatches. It has its own microbrewery and good house beers (3 varieties), but also offers the usual other beers.

30/08/2026: A very nice and traditional bar. The pub was packed and the atmosphere was fantastic. We sang and laughed a lot with many other guests... We'd love to come back next time!

22/09/2026: We had an excellent meal here. The food was outstanding, the aubergine particularly tasty. The service and atmosphere was superb, we detoured our trip to go to this restaurant and it was well worth it!

15/09/2026: Absolutely delicious. We came for the Sunday plates and loved it. The kitchen were very accomodating of one of the guests on our table who was gluten free. The fresh ingredients were honoured and the wines by the glass selection great.
