01/08/2025: The order was served in just 5 minutes, which was impressive. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Even though we didn’t have a reservation, they still accommodated us without any issue.
The only downside is that the prices are quite high considering the portion sizes.
Overall the food really tastes good. We’ll come back and bring out friends.
30/07/2025: Such yummy food, I had the veggie spring rolls and the tofu with cashew nuts & veggies. The service is excellent- my server was really sweet and smiley! :) Would definitely come back.

11/07/2025: Had one of the nicest breakfasts ive ever eaten last Thursday morning in ard bia. Myself and my husband had to wait about ten minutes for a table which we didn’t mind at all as it was worth the wait. The staff were super friendly! We both really enjoyed our breakfast and coffee. Really good food bursting with flavour. I had eggs with avocado and halloumi with almond pesto on soda bread. Will definitely return.
10/07/2025: Such lovely service (especially gorgeous Izzy), food and location. Korma was delicious. Coffee is right up there amongst the best we’ve had.

12/08/2025: I have stayed in hayfield many many times over the years . My most recent visit was last weekend . I must say I thought hayfield had completely lost its family feel . It was so disappointing to have that corporate feel about the place . Familiar faces long gone !! If this is the way hayfield is going then I won’t be returning . Very sad indeed .

12/08/2025: This is probably one of the top 10 dining experiences we've had anywhere. We were able to pinch in for a bar seat- which may have been the best option. Not only did we have an incredible meal, we had the BEST service from our bartender/waiter, who made bespoke cocktails as well as recommendations for wine pairings. I gave atmosphere a 4 only because the standard tables are pretty small and the restaurant itself got a little noisy with some of the guests having a good time. It's a modern restaurant that way- making the most of a small space. I don't fault them for it b/c I highly recommend the Glass Curtain- I wish I lived closer so I could become a regular!

21/06/2025: Yes it’s true. The best Guinness in Dublin and it’s €5 a pint. And the people are lovely - the bar staff and the locals. And it’s only a 5 minute walk to the Guinness Stores. And the toasties are top notch.

06/08/2025: Great beef tenderloin, delicious beef pie, flatbread were very good too. Good wine selection and amazing service. Overall a great experience. Toilets were clean-average abd desserts (home made) were not the best but they did not affect negatively in our rating. We would love to come againand try this amazing pie and beef angus tenderloin. Gravy in both cases were matching and improving the taste experience.
05/08/2025: I loved the atmosphere in here! It feels genuinely authentic and local. The food is very good. I had the pie and can totally recommend it.

19/08/2025: The ice cream is lovely. Nice rich textures and a good mix of mild and strong flavours. However, the unadventurous and safe flavours and the amount you get in a scoop for the price leaves a sour experience. The base of the cups are raised unusually high so you actually lose about 15% from the design of the cup itself and their scoops are conservative. Overall you’re paying a fair bit for little in return.

21/08/2025: Great atmosphere. Friendly and warm place. Rory and his colleagues are caring and very kind. Quality cuisine. Traditional music on Sunday evenings. A concentrate of Ireland just a stone's throw from Connemara. Go there without hesitation.
