09/08/2025: The service was fantastic some of the kindest staff I've ever encountered in a restaurant, I felt super welcomed and comfortable. The atmosphere was incredible very quiet and peaceful, felt super relaxed, and the food was fantastic definitely recommend this spot to anyone in the area.

25/07/2025: Avendo deciso di fare un giro a Dún Laoghaire, abbiamo scelto di provare un ristorante dove non eravamo mai stati, senza avere neanche troppe aspettative e siamo rimasti davvero soddisfatti e piacevolmente sorpresi da La Dolce Italia, posto che ci è rimasto subito nel cuore e che è indubbiamente uno dei migliori ristoranti Italiani mai provati in Irlanda. Il locale è piccolo ma ben organizzato e risulta essere piuttosto accogliente, l’atmosfera è molto da pranzo in famiglia e la gentilezza e l’attenzione del ragazzo che serve ai tavoli lo ha reso ancora più accogliente. Molto gentili ed appassionati anche i proprietari, una giovane coppia di Italiani, che pur avendo aperto relativamente da poco, ha dimostrato di saper lavorare molto bene. Sul menù ci sono pochi piatti, ma tutti ricercati, ben studiati e, soprattutto, realizzati a regola d’arte. Davvero un ottimo posto, che mi sento di consigliare come uno dei migliori, mai provati.

18/07/2025: Beautiful food. Sweet potato side was unreal. Chips were phenomenal. Even the bread beforehand was delicious My duck main was phenomenal, my fiancé wasn't overly impressed with the aubergine main but maybe just wasn't hungry enough. Would try something else instead. Everything was delicious. Everybody elses food looked top class. Lovely atmosphere and ambience The creme brulee was the most mouth watering we've ever had. Celebrated our engagement and birthday in style. We will be back again Great service also.

23/06/2025: An incredibly good café. We had several drinks, all of which were perfectly balanced. Most importantly, they weren't too sweet, just right. The service was friendly. The restroom is very well-maintained. They sell some lovely products in the café, which are also exceptional and great. There are only a few seats, so grab one and enjoy your drinks.

14/06/2025: The barista Diarmuid created an inviting atmosphere, and the matcha was the best I have had in Cork so far. Beautiful personality, a brilliant member of staff. Deserves a raise in my opinion. Will come again and recommend to friends.

28/06/2025: I was in Hemmingway's last night with my wife for an unbooked and unplanned one-couse meal at 20:30. Michelle was doing front-of-house on her own: meet and greet, taking food and drinks orders, delivering food and drinks, clearing tables etc. for a total of eight tables! What a legend! So friendly and efficient. Plus the food was fab! I had the Seafood Paella and my wife had the Tempura Prawns. Both were yummy and excellent value for money. A well-deserved 5 stars! ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

22/08/2025: Went in for lunch with the family and honestly, it was absolutely top class. The staff couldn’t do enough for us, all smiles and a bit of chat which makes a huge difference. The food? it was gorgeus, even the fussy one at the table was raving about it. Proper flavour. All in all, cracking spot. Well definitely be back might even make it the regular family haunt. Fair play to them they’re doing it right.

19/08/2025: Just home after dinner here with 5 friends to celebrate my birthday. We all work in hospitality and this restaurant is an example of how it should be done. The food,service and atmosphere was great.Shelly I believe was the lady who served us and was an amazing ,proficient, friendly person and made us so welcome,there were other ladies who contributed wonderfully to our overall experience not forgetting John who showed us to our table and checked on our table a couple of times and we shared some nice conversation.We will be back and we are all looking forward to going there again.Top marks to all.

15/08/2025: We just found this as we were walking around ..and what a find ..food was amazing and also a very good selection on menu ..also the whiskey cocktails are a must ...staff were super helpful..our waitress was amazing ...overall a pretty amazing dinner experience

10/08/2025: We visited as a couple for my husbands birthday, it was beautiful from start to finish, we shared the prawns pil pil to start an had steak an seafood pasta for mains. All staff were very friendly was such a nice visit

11/08/2025: Outstanding experience. Very friendly staff serve incredible food in a beautiful space. Every bite was delicious. The seafood chowder is out of this world — chock full of mussels, prawns, fish, and a ton of flavor. Highly recommend!

11/08/2025: Without doubt one of the nicest restaurants in donegal, it was our first time here and wasn't it a surprise, the service was first class from the meet and great at the door until we left. The restaurant was packed but our food came out so fast we were shocked because we knew it was busy and expected a delay. The food was as good of food that I've ate in donegal ,credit to the chefs, highly recommended coming here and well done for your good work 👏

10/08/2025: A typical Irish pub with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, decorated in a traditional style that invites you to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Excellent selection of beers, both on tap and local options. I tried the traditional Guinness beef stew: tender, flavorful, and perfectly paired with warm bread. Friendly service and well-timed courses make it a very positive experience overall.

08/08/2025: What an absolute gem of a find! We asked our guide during the Boat Tour to recommend a place that served fresh seafood, and without a thought he blurted out Helen's! After having visited this place, I'm likely to blurt out the same when asked this question. We ordered 2 x Fish of the Day, 1 x Seafood Platter, and 1 x Mussels, alongwith a few pints of Guinness. Fresh and delicious food, great pour of Guinness, very warm service, and picturesque location. If you are in the area, its worth a detour.

21/07/2025: This is a gem in Donegal. Ciaran Aisling and all the staff could not have been kinder and more fun. Great food with amazing tasters at the start.

19/07/2025: Disappointed as didn't live up to the hype. Booked DBB based on online and friend's reviews. pub garden was lovely, really good guinness. Dinner was average but well presented will give some benefit of doubt as the weather was really hot and probably hard to make certain items well e.g brioche, choux pastry. The oysters were ruined with a sweet chilli sauce that tasted like a well known bottled brand, fish accompments didn't have a lot of flavour, best part of the meal was the rose sorbet with dessert. Very disappointed with the wine list, range was ok but prices where significantly higher than the menu online e.g. €60 not €49! Room was fine although the water temporarily ran out. Breakfast was fine, didn't mind it being continental only, cheese portions were a little meagre and the trio of cold meats were straight from a supermarket packet selection (I did question the chorizo style one for breakfast but that's personal preference). Would go back for a drink but probably not food.

20/07/2025: We had a birthday party at Milanos Newbridge today. A big thank you to the lovely Manager, waiter and chef. All so friendly to the kids. Great service, very welcoming and food was delish. Would recommend :)

20/06/2025: Have had lunch here twice in the past few months and the service is second to none. Very attentive and accommodating for young families. Made eating out with two toddlers much more relaxed than usual.
