13/05/2025: The girls and I visited The Ubiquitous Restaurant Buncrana on the busy May bank holiday, and it was an absolutely fab experience from start to finish. Despite being quite busy, the atmosphere was great, had an amazing buzz, and the staff couldn’t have been better, they were very attentive, friendly, and super welcoming.
The food was to die for, very well done, really good quality, generous portions, plus such good value for money. The cocktails were easily the best I’ve had in town.
Really excited to go back for literally any occasion I can—highly recommended!

18/05/2025: Fast service, ideal for lunch when in the office as you won’t have to worry about timing. I’d avoid 1-2pm, it gets very busy. However, I only had to wait for a table once, and not for too long. The food here is great, I love Bento box variety (don’t think I have ever had the same twice), and it gives vegetarian options too. However, some of the dishes in the menu could be a little small - depending on the person/how hungry you are. This was not my experience, but other colleagues’. I highly recommend this place, staff always very friendly and efficient. Been eating here occasionally for last 2 years, and I’ll definitely keep it up 👍🏻
11/05/2025: Restaurant discovered by chance not far from our hotel. A warm and pleasant welcome. Dishes well served and delicious. The ramen was excellent. Perfect value for money.

06/06/2025: There's not much that can be said about John Kavanagh The Gravediggers that hasn't been said before. I knew the Guinness would be perfect, the service welcoming and the atmosphere transportive. What I didn't know was that the food would be exceptional. I had Ciaran's Coddle, the chef's take on an Irish classic, which took the form of a hearty bacon stew. This is the type of pub that I think will last forever. I can't wait to be back.
05/06/2025: My wife, in-laws and myself visited this place based on a recommendation from an immigration officer at the airport. The food and atmosphere were exactly what we were looking for—an authentic local experience. The coddle came highly recommended, and it was absolutely perfect.
The prices were a bit on the higher side, but we had planned for that as part of our vacation.
We highly recommend stopping here, and don’t miss the walk through the cemetery behind the restaurant—it’s rich with history and well worth your time.

20/05/2025: Eat at this restaurant every time we are in the area. Food and service is always excellent. The chef routinely suggests dishes based on your preferences and always checks to see if you enjoyed it. Prices are very reasonable and portions are more than enough.

20/05/2025: I had the most amazing lunch here. From go, Jess and her colleagues offered a welcoming afternoon. Each course was phenomenal. The halibut was out of this 🌎... The 🍷 list is great. And I received excellent pointers at every turn. An added bonus is you can watch activity in town unfold though the windows. I can't wait to return!!
16/05/2025: I chose 44€ for the 3 courses which is a reasonable price for high quality ingredients from michelin recommended restaurant. The temperature was perfect, and the seafood and pasta were cooked just right—nice and even.
The host was really good and accommodating.

28/05/2025: Good seafood restaurant, the fish on the bone was very good, not a very big selection, portion sizes are good. Rather pricey, most mains about €40 and side of vegetables €6 extra, wine at the more expensive end too. Nice friendly service.

17/05/2025: Etto has long been one of my absolute favorites. Had an outstanding family dinner there last night. Brilliant service from Miranda. Everything was delicious but suppli, mussels, sharing ribeye and Iberico Presa were standouts. Prunes a must. Wonderful.
15/05/2025: The service was amazing and the food just so spot on. We had the mussels which were likely the best mussels I have ever had. We shared the demonico and added the specialty salad. Service was delightful and Etto did not disappoint!!

19/05/2025: We had the most incredible breakfast here on Saturday. We were in the area for a family wedding. The food and service is 10/10 and we all highly recommend. Very friendly staff and can’t fault the Cafe at all. The location is absolutely perfect too and we will be back as we didn’t have time to try all the delicious looking cakes!! Thanks so much. ❤️

13/05/2025: Lovely dinner there last night. We had a later booking but our plans changed and they kindly squeezed us in earlier. Delightful place, imaginative menu - everything we tried was really excellent. My wife loved her whole sea-bass, my lamb shank was excellent. Stonebaked bread and hummus delicious. Highly recommended.
28/04/2025: One of our favorite meals in our entire time spent in Ireland! We would come back to Cork just to dine here again. The food was excellent, drinks were delicious, and they were more than able to accommodate my Vegan and Gluten free needs due to allergies. Orso is an absolute MUST if you are in or nearby Cork.

26/05/2025: There is nothing bad about Copper and Straw, and I’ve been visiting since the first week of opening.
A well run speciality coffee café in the heart of Bray. Fantastic staff, always chirpy and attentive to those waiting to be served aswell as surrounding seating areas.
House roast has been with Bailies since I can remember, varying notes pass through. I’m also a subscriber of Bailies weekly bean deliveries to home.
Rob was a fantastic asset to Copper and Straw and will be missed.
