08/03/2026: Fabulous food, kind and wonderful service, and a night to remember! Stunned and so appreciative. I called a few days ahead to make a reservation and they fit me and my best friend on the bar. Showed up a few minutes before opening/our reservation and they kindly noticed and let us in. I had a fabulous drink "Bamboo" to start while my friend had prosecco. Later, getting a carafe of the house red. All drinks were spectacular. Nibbles: Local Irish oysters with rhubarb granita: I'm an oyster lover and these were plush and fabulous. Beef Tartare on potato: the potatoes were like pillows with light crunch, decadent and fresh tartare, and the egg yolk piped on the top made every bite the perfect one. (We ended up getting a second plate as 'dessert' later) Special of the day Quail Tortellini in stock: The depth of the stock was maybe the best I've had, slurped it all, and the tortellini was fab! Mains Quail & celeriac: OMG. Can't say ENOUGH! The way they butchered and prepared the quail, allowed for the perfect bite. The best quail I've had. Special highlight was the perfect quail breast. Cavatelli & mushrooms: FRESH. PASTA. the bite was perfect, not truly al dente, the texture showing all the benefits of the fresh pasta. I didnt even have to wonder/ask if fresh pasta was used, that's how impressive it was. Dessert Plums soaked and simmered in wine, shortbread cookie, cream: Wine completely cooked out, these tasted like oversized and plump Luxardo Cherries. The cream was light and held shape and the shortbread was not crumbly but didn't bend. Mastery. The service was quick, and the place being small added to the attention and the atmosphere. The whole team worked together to make sure we were taken care of. Jovial and kind, nothing but praise! 10/5!!!! I will be recommending this place to all who go to Dublin. My friend had lived there for months and agreed it was by far the best meal she'd had in the city. Yes it's not cheap but I feel the prices are fair and I did not feel short changed by portion size whatsoever.

08/03/2026: If you're looking for a genuine, warm,cozy Irish pub that isn't packed full of tourists this is the spot to visit. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. The drinks are reasonably priced and the atmosphere is laid back and relaxed. And a massive plus is that they have cats in the pub. To me this is the icing on the cake.

07/02/2026: Highly recommend this spot, whether you’re a solo traveler, a couple looking for a cute date night or a couple of gal pals. It’s the kind of atmosphere where you can comfortably hold a conversation. The food is excellent, the oysters and pâte are a must. The service/staff are incredible: friendly, professional, know their stuff and never make you feel rushed. I traveled solo here and they graciously served me for hours as I hung out, ate and drank. Vibes are on point, 10/10 recommend!

30/01/2026: Really bad experience which is extremely disappointing. We were sat at the outside part of the restaurant. When we got our meal my partner was facing the glass frame around the restaurant where a man kept coming up to the glass and getting sick. We could see the sick and him hunched over for all of our dinner. There is a lady who works at the door and was standing there the whole time and never went out to tell him to leave. It took us to have to tell the host about the man in order for the woman to tell him to leave. Ruined the night completely for us. We were completely put off our food. For a high standard restaurant like this you shouldn’t have to sit down and watch someone get sick when you’re paying high prices.

15/03/2026: Very rude staff member on the phone tonight my card was used as fraud today in this restaurant.i had asked the man could he tell me who signed my receipt as it was a Mastercard so I could contact the Garda regarding this transaction and all he could say was o I don’t know I’m to busy not a very nice manner at all as I live nowhere near this restaurant I was very worried as I have my card so they obviously have a copy of my card all I was looking for was a bit of information so I could report it to c

12/02/2026: Gorgeous food and amazing cocktails! So much carity on the menu. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Lovely atmosphere in the Percy French bar where you can eat from the people's restaurant menu. Highly recommend!

05/01/2026: Stopped here with my parents, wife, and 4 small children. We were immediately offered a highchair, and the clean bathrooms were equipped with a change table. The food and service were amazing. My 75 year old father claims the NQ burger was one of the best burgers he has ever tasted. My wife had the fish chowder, which she said was tasty, comforting, and delicious. I was recommended the naanwhich, and was certainly not disappointed. The children had fish and chips, sausage and chips, and the homemade soup, and all plates were left clean. I cannot recommend this place enough. Excellent all-around; we were supremely satisfied.

16/03/2026: Great Sunday roast and very attentive service. The starters were so good we didn’t even get a chance to take a photo before finishing them. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Kenmare!

14/03/2026: After traveling around Ireland for a week, Davitt’s was our unanimous favorite stay, largely due to the boundless hospitality of our host, David. We found Davitt’s to be the perfect place for a good night’s sleep and home base for exploring the Ring of Kerry. We enjoyed our conversations and helpful tips from David at breakfast, where everything we ate was delicious. Highly recommend a visit to Kenmare and particularly this B&B.

18/03/2026: We arrived 8 adults 7 kids and 2 dogs with no reservation. We were seated very comfortably in the courtyard with blankets and hot water bottles provided. Amazing good and service.

14/03/2026: I really don't want to tell you how great this place is, it's hard enough to find a table sometimes as it is. But let's be fair, it's a great craic. Owned and run by lonely locals.

15/02/2026: I've been here today for lunch and let me tell you. I never give 5 stars rating in every aspect but this place deserves more than this even! The staff is amazing, they are angles sent from heaven. The nonna working the kitchens is so warm and friendly, the place feels like I'm not in Ireland anymore but I'm in Italy and the food is BOMB DOT COM! and yet the prices are justified. I fear this is my favourite place in this country 😤😤😤 10/10 just go here once.
