some outdoor seating. Decor bland. Very convenient after visiting the garden centre and hardware stores. Plenty of parking right outside.
06/08/2026: The owner worked us in tho this busy restaurant was full. I ordered a fish pie which was superb, added some veggies which I was almost too full to eat, and G ordered plaice and loved it. We were so glad to have found this wonderful restaurant.

23/08/2026: We had lunch at Mr. Viljanen's restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed it. We ordered the Surprise Tasting Menu with the Sommelier Selection. The menu was excellent from start to finish, beautifully presented, and of the highest quality. The accompanying wines were perfectly matched to each dish. Everything was superb.
The service was very attentive, always friendly and courteous.
We had a wonderful and enjoyable afternoon. Thank you so much! Highly recommended.

23/08/2026: We’ve eaten there twice over the past month and the food is excellent as well as the service. Seafood chowder, fish and chips and soup of the day all were delicious. There’s a car park a few blocks away which is convenient and much easier than trying to park in town.

12/07/2026: Domino’s is Domino’s — no matter which branch you visit, the food is always fresh and the environment is usually neat and clean. Unfortunately, some of the staff members were extremely rude. Their attitude was absolutely disgusting and very disappointing.

06/08/2026: Visited grogans castle lounge today, ordered a pink gin tonic and a Guinness. Bill came to 18.90. We ordered another round and was charged 21.90 so I questioned it and was told it was correct. I queried it and they gave me a copy of the receipt to which I saw they charged me a bottle of sol instead of a bottle of tonic. They then gave me 2.90 in change short changing me 90cent. I live and I am from Dublin, I will not be returning!

19/08/2026: Everything I would want in a pub and dining experience. They introduced me to a local whisky that will make me long for it when I get back to the states. You can’t go wrong here and the staff made me feel like a treasured guest.
16/08/2026: Genuinely one of my favourite pubs in Ireland. Staff are so helpful, the bouncers are great craic and the venue is fantastic. Gigs here are always 10/10, Limerick fans know how to rock 🤘

Very well prepared. Attentive and professional service. Good wine list, but limited to Argentinian reds. Reasonably priced. Well worth a visit.

23/08/2026: A pretty cool chain, very popular especially for breakfast. Purists, however, still prefer places serving traditional Irish breakfast.
The food is delicious.
Note: the dining area is small. There can be a bit of a wait in the morning.

05/08/2026: I eat here approximately once a week and I was never disappointed. Food is amazing (meals and my favorites are sushi). Big mentions for the specials sushi they are amazing. The staff is always very kind and the food is made vary quickly so very practical. The restaurant area is actually beautiful so I recommend to eat in !! I will come back as usual cause I love this place. Totally worth the price!
