17/05/2025: The people with you make the atmosphere!

10/05/2025: We booked the west for communion celebration dinner and very happy we did. Everything from the set menu, service and value were second to none. We were a large group of 23 adults and 8 kids. Everyone was pleased with their meal. Food was served seamlessly by great staff. The function room upstairs is a great space. We were allowed to decorate the evening before and nothing was too much trouble for Martin and his staff. The West surpassed itself today. If you have any celebration coming up I highly recommend the west you will not be disappointed

03/06/2025: The Service was excellent, César has subjected Chorizo Omelette, I enjoyed over the top… Also My macha latte, and the Monkey banana, all so succulent..:

We ordered the prawn risotto for the starter, well balanced with subtle tanginess 5/5 Baked chicken … so soft , well marinated 5/5 Lamb dish with mashed potatoes… BEST we had during our whole trip. Crème Brûlée perfect again Service staff is awesome . Had the honor to meet the humble chef and owner , Arslon We hope this restaurant gets a Michelin soon Loved it every bit.

26/05/2025: This restaurant is always packed for good reason! Make a reservation to avoid being disappointed, they have very limited seated. We shared the scallop and pork belly starter- amazing! Portion size is meant for one person, but it was a good taster for both of us. The lamb and short rib entrees were delicious! Would definitely come back again!

28/05/2025: Lovinspoon was the perfect place to get an authentic and delicious Traditional Irish Breakfast! The service was top notch, all staff were friendly and lovely! The food was absolutely fantastic. We went for the Big Breakfast and the Small Breakfast which was more than enough - brilliant portion sizes! But the best thing was the taste - we especially enjoyed the sausages and pancakes. Would 100% recommend to anyone staying in Dublin, wishing for an authentic experience.

15/05/2025: This is our second time eating at Mulcahy's. We were here three years ago. It is still as good as it was then. Beautifully presented creative dishes, all delicious. We shared the pate, prawns, and cauliflower to start. Followed by two fish pubs and the vegetarian option. I had the brisket. It was divine. The greens that came with it were heaven. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Staff really know their trade. The wine was beautiful. Highly recommend.

11/05/2025: Tenemos mucha suerte de haber encontrado el Kenmare de Mulcahy. Comemos en 2 noches de nuestra estancia en la ciudad. La comida era increíble. El personal era experimentado, profesional y atento. El lugar estaba impecablemente limpio. Teníamos mucha hambre y decidimos tomar un plato principal y un postre. Nos dieron pan de cortesía que tan sabroso. El plato principal que elegimos fue carne de res y una porción de papas fritas. Voy a adjuntar una foto. Pero ninguna palabra podía explicar los fantásticos sabores que había en todo el plato. No había necesidad de condimento. Es por eso que volvimos la noche siguiente para comer exactamente lo mismo. Solo teníamos un postre entre nosotros y era tan sabroso también. Era pudín de toffee pegajoso con helado. Ojalá viviéramos más cerca de ese restaurante. La 2a noche tuvimos 2 platos principales 1 patatas fritas, 2 pintas de Guinness y 2 pintas botella de un IPA fue de 82 euros. 05/06/2025: 10/10 experience, service was great, zero rush, very attentive but also discreet, very friendly. food was delicious great prices for big portions.

29/05/2025: Really good food and menu choice. Staff were really attentive. Even though we turned up on a Friday with no reservation we were given a table very quickly. Would definitely go back. (Very loud comment was purely down to a large, noisy table.)

13/06/2025: One of our best meals in Ireland. Do the Oysters - even if you don’t typically like oysters. Daily catch was fantastic as was the fish and chips. Team at Moran’s even had a vegan curry option for a member in our party which was delicious. Honestly though, the best thing on the menu might be the chowder. We visited Moran’s on the way back to Galway from exploring the Burren and Cliffs of Moher. If you’re not there early (17:00) on a weekday, best to book in advance.

29/04/2025: We love this spot and regularly recommend it to our guests at Glen Gat House. It’s conveniently located, offers great value, and the service is always delivered with a smile. I nearly always go for the special — they consistently serve up something delicious with a unique twist. The portions are generous too, with plenty of sides, so you definitely won’t leave hungry! There’s always a warm, welcoming atmosphere at The Jockeys, and you might even catch a live music session now and then. Whether you're a family, couple, or flying solo, it’s a fantastic place to dine and unwind.

18/05/2025: This is honestly the best hidden gem of our Wild Atlantic Way roadtrip! At €80 pp, the amount of food was more than expected, and each dish was incredibly plated and absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend, one of the best meals I have ever had

15/05/2025: My friend and I were on a golf trip to the west of Ireland. We only got as far north as Narin & Portnoo links. But we couldn't resist driving 1&1/2 hours north for a pint at the Olde Glen and dinner at their restaurant, our favorite in all of Ireland. Thanks Cormac for your hospitality and Ciaran for outstanding food. For me, the Mulroy Bay scallop appetizer is the best combination of flavors I have ever had. BTW, you can stay next door at Clara's Cots and make the whole night that much simpler. The rooms are large and very comfortable!

23/05/2025: Delightful atmosphere with superb seafood chowder, wonderful soda bread, and delicious apple rhubarb cake. Wish it was closer to home, but definitely a must-do when in Doolin!

21/05/2025: We came here after visiting Cliff of Moher. We definitely don't regret this choice. We ordered fish and chips and chowder. The food were nice, with a cosy and nice ambience. Staffs are friendly too. Highly recommended.

10/06/2025: Stopped by here for lunch and the lady was very nice she even moved tables around for us to accommodate us without having to ask. The sandwiches and cannolis were really tasty, my only gripe was a person came in with a big dog and it seems like the owners have no problem with that, I just don't think animals should be sitting where people are trying to eat, especially when it was such a small place.
