31/08/2026: After visiting the distillery, we desperately needed to eat. We got a table for 90 minutes – everything was reserved. The food was excellent and plentiful. The service was very friendly.

20/09/2026: They were very helpful with gluten-free options! And they can make most of their menu gluten-free. They have a dedicated fryer for the gf food. They even had a gluten-free dessert I could have! The Morrocan chicken was excellent and the vegetables with it were flavorable and perfectly cooked. There is live music at 9pm. There is a bar as well as regular tables, and they take reservations in advance but don't require them. What a delightful place!

12/09/2026: Absolutely wonderful little resteraunt! The staff are sound out, the food is beautiful and the venue is relaxed. We had a lovely time. Fine set of singing voices on the staff, the happy birthday went off without a hitch.

19/09/2026: You need to make a reservation for dinner. The lamb chops were definitely the star of the show!!! Eat here at least once if you're in Killarney.

19/09/2026: The food is amazing!!! Can really recommend it! I ate the protein pancakes and they were excellent! But servers (not all of them) might wanna consider acknowledging/speaking to all guests, not only men. Otherwise well, no tip.

06/08/2026: Visited grogans castle lounge today, ordered a pink gin tonic and a Guinness. Bill came to 18.90. We ordered another round and was charged 21.90 so I questioned it and was told it was correct. I queried it and they gave me a copy of the receipt to which I saw they charged me a bottle of sol instead of a bottle of tonic. They then gave me 2.90 in change short changing me 90cent. I live and I am from Dublin, I will not be returning! ***TOURIST BEWARE***ASK FOR A RECIEPT

05/08/2026: I eat here approximately once a week and I was never disappointed. Food is amazing (meals and my favorites are sushi). Big mentions for the specials sushi they are amazing. The staff is always very kind and the food is made vary quickly so very practical. The restaurant area is actually beautiful so I recommend to eat in !! I will come back as usual cause I love this place. Totally worth the price!

14/08/2026: Good restaurant in Athlone. Central location, with easy street parking. Argentinian cuisine. Excellent aged meats, although fish is also on the menu. Charcoal grilled meats. Very well prepared. Attentive and professional service. Good wine list, but limited to Argentinian reds. Reasonably priced. Well worth a visit.

31/08/2026: What an absolute gem 💎 of a place, such great atmosphere, friendly staff and the location is just superb. Drinks were great, they even serve Murphys though in Kerry 😆 we enjoyed every minute, definitely will be back.

06/08/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What an incredible dining experience at John J. Burke's in Clonbur! The food was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. We had the burgers, which were cooked to perfection and packed with flavour. My daughter had the fish and chips, and she said it was one of the best she's ever had. We couldn't leave without trying dessert, and we're so glad we did! From the rich chocolate brownie to the freshly made cheesecake, everything was homemade and simply delicious. Honestly, it's some of the best food we've had since dining in Michelin-starred restaurants in Abu Dhabi. The quality, freshness, and attention to detail were exceptional. The atmosphere was just as wonderful as the food, with traditional Irish music creating the perfect warm and welcoming setting. A huge compliment to everyone at John J. Burke's. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Clonbur! Thanks again Steven, Alison Willow from Donegal ❤️
