The best restaurants

09/07/2026: Long story short: staff were great. Don’t eat here if you’re vegan or plant-based. Very limited options. Giving 5 stars because the staff did an excellent job of not wasting my time (which I appreciate). I called over the phone to confirm they have vegan options, and the Google Reviews said there were good vegan options available. But when I arrived, I discovered this is not the case. “Vegan options” means plain avocado toast or a bowl of leafy greens. There are so many restaurants in Ireland (even way out in the countryside) who offer excellent vegan options. Support those establishments instead.

01/07/2026: Lovely atmosphere, food was awesome, and staff were warm & friendly. Thanks for the great experience - and for re-setting my expectations. What I mean is, so many people in the US told me I would not find too much "good food" in Ireland and warned me I would have to eat Indian food or kebab if I wanted flavorful meals. We had the mussels & chips (broth was a touch too salty but still great!) along with the pasta & prawns. Irish soda bread was great as well.

27/06/2026: Fish bones in chowder the place is trying to win an award for….. interesting. Service was awful. Waited almost an hour and 50 minutes and never got our food. Blamed everything on the chef when clearly it was front of house mistake. Go somewhere else.

17/06/2026: I had the oyrsters with the mignoette sauce. It's was blasphemously good, I can see why she'll fish are in the Bible as a sin, because...god dayum!!!

03/08/2026: Such a lovely restaurant! Loved the atmosphere, very cosy, food was delicious.. vegan version of pizza was no problem, super delicious, but there were other options.. cant wait to visit again!

26/07/2026: Lovely experience at Austies to celebrate my birthday. A large group which was very well looked after. Could not fault the evening. Food was delicious and service was perfection. Thanks so much

09/07/2026: Went here for a date night and loved it! The pizza and wine was amazing. Quick service and great vibes! Perfect for summers. Will go back again.

15/05/2026: The coffee is excellent, always tastes great. Love their croissants and their bread. The staff are also very nice. Sandwiches are also excellent, haven't tried the pizza yet, but will definitely give it a go

26/07/2026: A true Irish pub with excellent traditional dishes (generous portions). Extremely professional and friendly staff, even the younger ones. Plus, in the evenings you can listen to live music, which adds to the warm and welcoming atmosphere.

24/07/2026: The nicest staff you could meet. We were there on All Ireland Hurling Final Sunday and we were so well treated. We didn't have food.

15/06/2026: Dogs aren't allowed in the inside bar but they have a good sized beer garden at the back (accessible from the street behind) which is dog friendly. And if you're solo with dogs - as I was - you can order and pay from your table

14/06/2026: We were absolutely thrilled! The burgers were simply amazing – juicy, fresh, and incredibly tasty. The service was also excellent: very friendly and attentive, and we immediately felt welcome. To top it all off, we had a dessert that was equally superb and perfectly rounded off our visit. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant! 😊🍔🍰

22/07/2026: We hosted a dinner for 30–40 people at Peppermill yesterday to celebrate our daughter's arrival, and it was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The atmosphere was warm, cozy, and perfect for such a special family celebration. What made the evening even more memorable was the exceptional service. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming, making sure that every guest felt comfortable and well looked after. Organizing a gathering of this size can be challenging, but the Peppermill team handled everything seamlessly. We are so grateful for their hospitality and for helping make such an important occasion so special. We highly recommend Peppermill to anyone looking for great food, a fantastic atmosphere, and outstanding service. Thank you for making our celebration unforgettable! 18/07/2026: It was one of those surprises that opened up a true world of seafood flavors for me. Everything was incredibly fresh, perfectly prepared, and meticulously crafted. Every bite confirmed my belief that seafood can taste truly exceptional. Definitely a place I'll be returning to and recommending!

05/08/2026: Dublin's only true Cocktail Bar. A must visit whether taking a break from nearby Grafton Street or for a pre or post Dinner Drink. Within the Westbury Hotel, the Sidecar has its own unique laid back comfortable athmosphere - with a hugely attentive team. Each has a deep knowledge of the cocktail menu - and can offer some off menu recommendations, For me it was a very impressive black russian and then a dirty martini which was truly my best ever. You get what you pay for - and yes Dublin's only true Cocktails do come with a true price tag also - but treat yourself. Definetly worth it. Sitting bar side where we had a top view of their skills we were treated to truly five-star service from Noa, Benito and Anna - each a credit to the Westbury Hotel. We will be back!!!

14/07/2026: Loved the pub, good atmosphere. If its full, try the beer garden in the back of the pub - though you have to go order yourself.

14/07/2026: Another great pub experience while we were in Dublin. The traditional Guinness beef stew is (sorry for the cliche) to-kill-for! Great locals’ pub with music 7/7.
