14/05/2025: Lovely, cosy place for coffee, breakfast, lunch and cakes. The boxty is amazing, I can't wait to go back for more. Warm and friendly service from Ashling makes you feel right at home and well looked after. Edit: I've since been back and I can't believe that it was even better again! This place really is Westport's best kept secret.

02/06/2025: Beautiful surroundings, very friendly staff. I give ten stars for the coffee, the coffee is simply delicious. The food is very nice to look at. I recommend the crab sandwich. The onion rigs are absolutely amazing. If you are in Dalkey, come for breakfast/lunch.

29/05/2025: A fabulous range of dishes to choose from championing local produce. Scallops and Ham Hock Tart starters were beautifully presented and excellent. Duck and Featherblade of Beef both outstanding. Vegetables served with the main courses also excellent and cooked perfectly. Sadly, due to the generous portions we couldn't manage dessert. Next time we'll make room. All this, was accompanied by great service. By far the best place we ate in while in Mayo.

24/05/2025: Went to this gorgeous place for three nights running! Superb ingredients expertly cooked. Really interesting menu, fabulous ambience, and you couldn’t wish for nicer staff. We feel very privileged to have eaten here. Thank you, and we will come back soon!!

21/05/2025: First night of a week long girls trip to celebrate my sister’s birthday. Jet lag from flying from the US, and got a second wind at 9pm so ventured out of the hotel for a drink and an appetizer. Went to a famous local pub recommended by our driver, but in reality it seemed like the Dublin version of a US frat party, so we left. Walking back to the hotel and happened upon Hugo’s. The decor seemed so warm and inviting. Walked in, mentioned we wanted a cocktail and appetizer. The friendly woman at the front said ‘the kitchen is closing soon, but I have just the thing for you, come on in and have a look at the drink menu.’ Geeked out discussing whiskey with one of the servers, Ireland vs TN, so much fun! Ended up with Blue Spot whiskey and a Hugo Spritz for my sister. Delicious! The server brought brown bread and a soft white roll, with whipped chive butter - followed quickly by a beautiful charcuterie platter with a side of crispy lavash bread. Absolutely delicious! Olives, cured meats, pickled relish, capers, walnuts, etc - it was perfect and really satisfying! Everyone was friendly, and it was overall a great experience. My sister left her reading glasses on the table, and Greg personally walked them all the way to our hotel. Above and beyond!! Such a great overall experience - highly recommend. Thank you Hugo’s team, we might see you again tomorrow!

15/05/2025: Stopped here for lunch whilst touring on my motorbike , had the seafood chowder which was delicious and filling with homemade soda bread and loads of butter ! Yummyyyyyyy !

04/06/2025: This pub was recommended to us by our tour guide and oh my God, she was right. The atmosphere is amazing, there is no music just people talking vibing and drinking. It’s so simple but so magical at the same time. I’m not even the biggest fan of beer but I had two Guinnesses which together with the toast tasted very good. The guys working at the bar are the nicest people we met in Ireland. Please do yourself a favour and go there 💚🤍🧡

04/06/2025: Really good authentic Italian restaurant. The kitchen is in the front and the seating is in the back. It’s really good to see the chef at work as you pass into the restaurant. I think I can call myself a regular now. I love the Halibut main course. Congratulations also on their recent birth of their daughter.

31/05/2025: Amazing last minute stop. They got us in last minute on a night full of reservations. Amazing handmade pasta and personal service. Would eat here again and again.

24/04/2025: The bagels here are delicious. I would really recommend the biscoff ice-latte I really enjoyed it. The prices are good. The cafe has a great vibe and all the staff are really nice and friendly!

10/05/2025: Fun local Irish Pub in Doolin Ireland. Plenty of parking. Traditional Irish Music, plenty of good drinks. Nothing fancy and many locals and vacationers enjoying themselves.
