02/09/2026: Ordered takeaway for delivery. It took 90 minutes to arrive. And was luke warm.

25/08/2026: The service is a disgrace with deliveries always 30+ mins late and they never even have the basic manners to call you. Food is bland and invariably cold on arrival. I’ve kept giving them chances and they keep disappointing. Today was no different, but luckily it’ll be the last time.

17/08/2026: We went for a roast and it did not disappoint. Every part of the meal was suburb. The staff were helpful and friendly.

13/09/2026: Great family run business and polite staff and great food and handy little shop to pick up shopping and a very large car park it's conviently situated in the Castle Connor on the Ballina to Sligo Road area,they cater for all occasions all year round 👍

02/09/2026: Visited here but can't rate the food as we didn't wait for any. There were 2 cars in the carpark so not busy, there were 4 young people stood talking, when I asked if they were serving food one of them showed us to a booth. Waited there for a while, my husband used the gents,when he came back I then used the ladies. Having then returned to our booth I asked if they had taken our order but they hadn't so I went to the bar. One of the group behind the bar looked astounded that I wanted someone to take our order, she said "oh, I'll come over" when she arrived and asked what she could help us with I then suggested that a clean table would be a start. After that we decided not to eat there, won't be visiting again. Oh, and btw we went to Quaywest in Ballina after that and found it to be very good with nice, pleasant staff and clean tables.

31/08/2026: Phoned up last minute to ask if they were still serving food and received a strange response by a male. But we still went and were delighted with the service especially from the blonde waitress, she was very attentive and extra friendly with our little one. The food was good too!

23/07/2026: When you stand in front of the pub you think, "Oh dear, what is this?", but once inside the atmosphere is great! The staff is super friendly and the food is just super tasty! We had the chicken curry, Texas burger, and pork beef with mash. I can really recommend it; good food for a good price!

18/08/2026: Me and my girlfriend come here from 8 years now.. Cafe Sofia serves the best Irish breakfast in Dublin.. its been the same quality and taste all over the years… and very lovely staff and the owner Amy simply rocks..highly Recommend it

30/08/2026: Went a few times and never ever likely. All is good but the guy who i assume being a manager, who bosses around and is rude. He litterally threw me and my friend to a table, threw the menus at us, did not allow mw to say a word too interested to his own. I have the impression that were I a huge guy with a football shirt the treatment would be different. I went more than once, because one time could be a bad day. But he always treated me like that and the last time was awful and we left without even consuming. I miss it being the Bru House honestly

29/08/2026: A really nice Irish pub, with a good variety of drinks and hearty food. Big eaters will love it. The waitresses are super friendly.

21/07/2026: Hotel in a centrally located part of town near O’Connell Street. The reception area is beautiful and water is always provided. Rooms are decent and clean, but need a bit of maintenance. Complimentary water and snacks were provided. Good breakfast, decent variety. The fitness room is very small only a rack of weights, a treadmill and an elliptical. There was also no water in the fountain. Staff went above and beyond, for example, stored our luggage, bought my mom boiled eggs.

19/06/2026: Decent hotel. Nice breakfast with q lot of variety. Rooms however beds quite small feel hanging off the end and i am not even that tall. Room came with a double and si.gle bed I rrquested just one bed and reception refused nit sure why a booking for ine person is allocated a room with teo beds

17/08/2026: This was the best North Indian food I ever had in Ireland. Old Delhi style Butter chicken was amazing 😋

12/08/2026: Everything about this place was spectacular. The food was phenomenal, and the service was excellent. Everyone was so friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The ambience was beautiful and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Overall, a fantastic experience from start to finish. Highly recommended!

22/08/2026: Lovely food.. BUT VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT they DECIDED TO ADD 10% GRATUITY TO BILL. Because of that i consider it is not worth a revisit.. Please note GRATUITY is at client's discretion. So to conclude we were overcharged. Shame on them

23/08/2026: We're very lucky to have such an amazing pub in Balbriggan. 😃 The atmosphere and decor attracts a great mix of ages having great craic. I love that there's a spot without TVs were you can relax and chat. The staff are absolutely class. I've never been served a pint of Guinness in glass with water stains or any beer spilling over the edge. They all genuinely put huge effort into pouring a cracking pint. And it tastes fantastic 😍 Top spot for the pint and chats😁
