01/08/2025: Hands down the best full Irish breakfast around, nothing comes close,
I would love to give 5 stars on that alone,
But one Saturday we arrived at 11:45 and was told breakfast is finished, I’m a stickler for detail, so why advertise breakfast until 12? It should read “last orders for breakfast 11:30”,
I ended up having to order from the afternoon menu, which was ok.
if an establishment has a full Irish breakfast that good it should be an all day menu item..
06/07/2025: Went on a Saturday. Food was good and most of the staff were lovely. One staff member’s attitude let the experience down but Still, I’d recommend it overall.

The concept is interesting because they also offer a variety of savory dishes. It didn't look particularly clean, but the waffle was great.

04/08/2025: Cleaver East has been my friend groups go to place for all of our birthdays for the past 7 years. The bottomless brunch is incredible, quick service, great cocktails and great food.
Decestated that it's closing due to the hotel renovations but hopefully it opens back up and we can continue to go forever more!
03/08/2025: Our favourite restaurant in Dublin. So sad to it close. We eat again here on Sunday 3 august closing nite and had another amazing meal. Good luck to all your wonderful staff ,, it’s been a lovely 12 years of dining here. From max & Harry

23/05/2025: We had dinner here tonight for my husbands birthday. I have to say our meal, and our evening was sublime. The food was exceptional and the service was excellent. We really enjoyed our night. This is a restaurant that takes pride in the food it serves. We have eaten here on a number of occasions over the years from the time it was on The Avenue in Gorey, to now, on the Main Street. The quality and inventiveness of the dishes continues to impress. The menu is based on what is freshly available in season which makes for wonderful food. We cannot recommend The Bistro enough to anyone who loves good food.

06/10/2025: Had a pint while waiting for the last bus and was surprised to find a lovely atmosphere and bright warm environment. Staff were friendly and the Guinness was perfect.
21/09/2025: An authentic Irish pub. A quiet, cozy place with a good atmosphere and traditional decor. The day we went, they didn't have live music, although I think they usually do. We still had a really nice beer.
I recommend it if you don't want the hustle and bustle of the city center but want a quiet beer.

Fresh food tatse was bang on and of course the drinks where very good selction.
