04/12/2025: An Exceptional Stay, Made Perfect by Outstanding Service I had the pleasure of staying at The Brehon Hotel & Spa on Monday, 1st December 2025, and the experience was nothing short of amazing from start to finish. The standout element was undoubtedly the incredible service. A huge thank you to Bojana, whose support was truly above and beyond. From assisting seamlessly with my check in to ensuring every detail of my stay was perfect, her professionalism, warmth, and attentiveness made a significant difference. It’s staff like Bojana who transform a great hotel into an exceptional one. The hotel itself is beautiful, but the spa facilities are in a league of their own. Without a doubt, this is the best SPA facility I have ever experienced. Every aspect was pristine, calming, and of the highest quality, providing the perfect retreat. My stay was an absolute delight, and I left feeling completely rejuvenated. I cannot recommend The Brehon Hotel & Spa highly enough and look forward to returning in the future. Thank you for a memorable experience.

17/02/2026: We were here for a confirmation celebration. The food was absolutely beautiful and the service was outstanding. It was busy in the entertainment complex but a great atmosphere and again staff were excellent with any questions or queries. We availed of the bowling and darts, which were booked in advance to suit with the meal finishing. A brilliant day all around.

31/12/2025: Quick purchase on the way to the bus. Ate when arrived in Cork. Bun tasted like it was from a "too good to go" but without the discount. Sausage roll much better, however expected more taste for the price.

07/03/2026: This place has gone so downhill. Overpriced pints, filthy dirty and some staff including manager wouldn't even acknowledge you. This place used to be so lively and welcoming. It's gotten such a bad reputation in this town and it deserves it.

31/01/2026: This is were all the cool kids go... of course I noticed it was the kids of the 90s. The best generation, But still cool nonetheless. A great bar with some great cool hide away tables. This allows for decent chats and socialising, not provided by Bridge St, you have to bring your own. Normally Irish bars have live bands, no shade as the kids say. But sometimes you want a bar with a great selection of drinks and to be able to speak to the people on your table. This is the place. Staff are friendly and intuitive, not leaving you thirsty. Also there is a great outdoor area which allows for eating. There is even a food truck that parks right up to the outside tables. So there isn't much of a walk for a take away pint and meal. Also if you prefer other takeaway places, they all say that you can eat their food there too. The outside place is sheltered, but I wouldn't like to test it during a downpour.

07/10/2025: Popped in here recently whilst on a family trip to the area, 2 adults 2 kids 8 & 4. We as a couple had a great experience in this restaurant 8.5 yrs prior so we thought we’d give it a go. It didn’t disappoint. No booking no problem, nice little table. Colours for the kids from get go, very attentive staff. We only had mains so can only guess how good the starters may have been. Mains were tops. Kids then walked over to the ice cream counter were a very patient staff member called out each ice cream flavour. A must visit for food, comfy atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff. Hoping it won’t be years again I return 😊

13/03/2026: Dropped in today for a meal with my wife . Cheltenham racing were on and the place was packed. Ordered turkey and ham and chicken chill wrap. Both dished were cold and my turkey dish I found 2 hairs. Hopefully this isn't the norm.

22/12/2025: Great spot, the bar especially, good pints and good people. Lounge won't accept people in track suits or pyjamas after 8 PM Saturday. But top notch Doug and 'the 3 lads'
